WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C53 Hisei's Challenge
Er… I don't know how this happened but Hisei had requested a duel with me for some reason.
"A duel? Why?" I asked.
She poked her fingers together, "I… I think Mistress Aster already knows… But my family is not a normal one…"
"A family of assassins, am I right?"
"Ye… Yes… I was sold because of a failed mission and my family needed to pay back the client money that we did not have… Thus they decided the youngest child… Me… Should be sold to cover the losses…"
I tilted my head at her, already kind of guessing where this was going, "And for you to serve someone else is actually unacceptable?"
She nodded, "I… I was planning to kill you when Mistress Linette releases me to pass over the ownership to you and then to make my escape. But… I… I know I'm not strong enough to even hurt Mistress Aster…"
"So you wish to duel me and perish with honour instead of being forced into my service?"
"I… I… Yes."
Yeah, she's lying… Still… I'll humour her for now.
"I see… So you have chosen death."
I turned to Linette who was just a short distance away from us.
She quickly bowed her head, "I apologise, Lady Aster. I was unaware of her origins, much less her intentions. I will arrange to have a suitable alternative as payment for your services rendered."
"It's fine," I assured her. "Just one thing. If Hisei were to be able to kill me, let her free. I will let you handle my belongings however you wish."
"I… I understand."
Naturally, the possibility of me losing to Hisei was pretty much null. She can't even use much of her Umbramancy since it's in the middle of the day either and with her magic stats, she wouldn't be able to use much of her Pyromancy anyway.
I turned back to Hisei before pulling out my dagger, "Very well, I shall grant your duel. Are you ready?"
Hisei reached under her rags and pulled out a knife from nowhere, "Yes, Mistress."
Where was she keeping that?
Right then, a choir began to sing in the background and…
Is… Is that Latin? No, wait… It sounds more like a mix of several languages mixed together to create some kind of chaotic language. I also get the feeling like I'm fighting some kind of giant, skyscraper sized robot with a name very similar to 'angel' for some reason.
What's surprising was that Hisei could hear it too and she seemed quite unsettled and was even looking around for the source of the music.
With such a set up, I just had to make it even more dramatic...
"Hisei… Prepare to die."
I rushed forward with my dagger poised to stab against her throat.
As she had wanted to die with 'honour', she was going to at least try to defend herself. Thus, I wasn't surprised when she ducked underneath my strike and tried to counter with a stab of her own aimed at my side.
I switched my grip on my dagger and parried her blow, forcing her to back away before I could slice open her neck when I swung my blade at her.
She charged again, this time trying a stab on my other side as a feint before going to kick me in the shins.
I let her kick connect which barely did any damage to me just so that I could deliver a palm strike to her chest, blowing her a few metres back.
She recovered quickly and settled into her stance again, just in time to sidestep my overhead slash.
Spinning around me, she aimed her knife at my back, only to get smacked in her chest by my tail that sent her rolling away.
She kept her grip on her knife and flipped herself back on her feet, her arms held in a cross at the last moment to block the punch I sent towards her.
Her strength was not enough to completely block it so she tilted her body to the side, allowing my punch to swing past her.
She twirled her knife into an underhand grip, putting it in the perfect location to slice at my exposed neck.
I slammed my tail into the ground and the force was enough to push me away from her, letting her slash to hit nothing but air.
Shifting my grip on my knife again, I charged in with a stab aimed at her abdomen.
Hisei immediately brought her knife down, parrying the blow away but also opening herself up for my other hand to grab her throat.
To her credit, she reacted quickly by grabbing onto my wrist with her other hand and swinging herself up to wrap her legs around my arm while pushing her feet against my neck.
If she were to pull, she could break my arm in this position… If I were a normal Mahun that is.
Regardless, I responded by slamming her into the ground, forcing the air out of her lungs and her grip to loosen.
She gasped out in pain and her eyes widened as I raised my dagger over my head, intent on bringing it down on her face.
She quickly let go of me and twisted herself out of my grip, rolling away right as my dagger stabbed into the ground where her head had been moments before.
Hisei snapped a kick at my head even while she was still on the ground, only for her attack to be blocked by my tail.
She seemed to be aiming for that moment when my attention was fixated on her foot as flames ignited from her palm, the inugami aiming to let loose a blast of fire towards me.
My free hand quickly smacked her wrist to point it at the sky, allowing her fireblast to be launched into the air harmlessly instead.
Her eyes widened as I tried to stab her again, barely raising her own knife in time to deflect my stab away from her stomach.
Hisei quickly rolled away from me instead of continuing to press her attack, giving me an opportunity to recover as well.
Barely a few minutes had passed and she was already noticeably winded, most likely never having had to fight for her life so desperately before.
Our fight began anew with her initiating the charge this time.
Hisei tried to feint another attack before spinning away to get behind me.
This time she was ready for my tail that struck towards her, proving that was another feint by her as she ducked underneath the blow.
She tried to stab me in the back, only to have my wings explode out from my back to smack her away from me.
Without giving her time to recover, I flapped my wings and leapt into the air, buffeting her with a gust of wind.
While the Inugami's vision was impaired by the wind, I did the same thing as her where I slipped myself behind her with my knife poised to stab.
Either by pure instinct or some other sense of hers, she knew I was coming and spun herself around, her knife slashing towards my cheek.
I wasn't going to let her cut my face so I tilted my head back, an action she capitalised on as it also revealed my neck.
Her fist sailed towards the centre of my throat, her knuckle stopping mere inches away as I caught her wrist in time.
Without wasting time, I casted [Static Shock], watching as her entire body spasm as my magic paralysed her temporarily.
I swiped at her dagger and the weapon was flung away, embedding itself to a nearby mound in the earth.
I continued by pulling at her wrist so that she was right in front of me, making sure she saw the dagger in my hand before I plunged it right into her abdomen.
Hisei gasped as her strength left her body, slumping herself against me weakly.
"W… Why?" She sobbed after a while.
I pulled the dagger away, revealing that I had hit her with the handle instead of the blade.
"Why? Tell me honestly, Hisei, do you really want to die that much?"
She stayed silent and refused to meet my eyes.
Obviously she didn't but I'm guessing she must have been guided by some stupid moral code or something that required her to do this. I was also holding back in the fight too and if I really wanted her dead, she wouldn't even be able to deflect my punch.
I sighed, "You obviously didn't choose this life for yourself and killing a child like you leaves a bad taste in my mouth."
Again, no response, though her grip on me tightened.
I patted her head, "If you are not against the idea, then allow me to provide you a solution. The Hisei that was raised by your family as an assassin before being abandoned is now dead. The Hisei that serves me is now born anew, how about that?
She finally lifted her head to look at me, "You… Why would Mistress Aster do that for me?"
"Hmm, don't be mistaken, I am not doing it for you. I need someone to help do my hair and also bake sweets for me in the future after all~ There's no way am I doing that on my own so you have your work cut out for you!"
Hisei sniffled once, twice, before straight up bawling her eyes out while clinging onto me.
Obviously I know something like this wouldn't be solved so easily but I suppose it's a start.
I already learned first hand that offering a home to someone who had been abandoned was something that could save someone from the depths of despair.
…
Also… I can have someone make me sweets aside from Mother now!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C54 I Name You The Moon
After Hisei calmed down and I finished extracting the Mana Crystal from the Hell Wolf Alpha, we continued on our journey towards the city.
At a glance, Hisei seemed to be more reserved than before, but she no longer hesitates when calling me 'Mistress' and she walked closer to me than before.
"By the way… It might be a little too late to ask this, Hisei, but your family wouldn't come after me or you right?" I asked.
"Umm… Unless I do something that goes against their agenda or they get an assassination mission on us, I do not believe so, Mistress…"
Well, not that reassuring but I suppose it's not something I need to worry about for now.
Although…
"In that case, would you like to change your name?" I asked.
Her ears actually perked up, "Umm… What would Mistress name me?"
I thought for a moment. Despite her being good at Pyromancy, she also possesses the power of Umbramancy. Not to mention the fact that she's also trained in the assassin arts, she's like a light surrounded by darkness.
"In that case… How about Katsuki? It means the moon and it's like you, a shining light that is surrounded by the dark sky but within that lies your beauty."
She blushed, "Ka… Katsuki… Umm… From now on, I, Katsuki, will serve you with all my heart, Mistress!"
So cute.
"Also… This might be a little late but… I'm actually ten years old."
"What?!"
Not only was Katsuki surprised, even Linette and her retainers stopped in their tracks to gasp at me.
"But… Your wings… And your tail… Are you really… Younger than me, Mistress?" Katsuki murmured.
I grinned at her, "Yep, ten years old this year. Mother always said that I mature faster than my peers and I know how weird it is."
"Just how did you get this strong, Lady Aster?" Linette asked.
I shrugged, "I trained really hard and my Mother also helped train me quite a bit."
"Who… Who is your Mother? Is she a famous Mercenary or Dungeoneer?"
I shrugged, "She never told me and even though I asked, she doesn't like to talk about her past. So maybe? I've never seen her going to dungeons or fulfilling quests though so maybe she has already retired."
"I see… That makes sense…"
The others also seem to have accepted the explanation and we continued on our journey.
"So… Are you regretting pledging yourself to me?" I asked Katsuki.
She shook her head, "I don't believe age decides how much respect I can have for you, Mistress Aster. Not to mention the fact that you had saved me from being ravaged by the goblins, I was also granted another chance at life too."
Hmm… I'm not sure how I feel about her devotion to me… I'm flattered of course, but suddenly being given such loyalty after meeting her for barely two days feels a little weird.
Oh well… I hope Mother could give me some guidance one this anyway.
We continued our walk and soon enough, the gates to the city were in sight.
Linette turned to me, "Is Lady Aster going to take out the carts?"
I tilted my head at her question, "Eh? Why?"
"Ah… Does Lady Aster not know? To bring a magic backpack without declaring its contents is illegal. Ah, perhaps Lady Aster already knows that Dragon View Trade City has a mage that can scan your magic bag's contents? It's my first time there so I'm not too sure about the place as well."
Ok… I did not let them search my bag physically at all though… They didn't even ask for it either… Even last night when I returned to the city, they simply let me in after receiving my Guild card and never searched me.
Maybe they do have a mage there to scan through bags?
I decided not to question it and shrugged again, simply deciding to see how it goes this time. But if they did ask me to empty my Pack of Folding for them… We might be outside for quite a while with how much monster materials there are in there.
Fortunately, my worries were unfounded as they asked what Linette and her company were here for. She quickly explained the goblin attack and how I saved them, which resulted in the guards asking to see my Guild card.
I handed it to them without question and that was when I noticed a robed man standing at the side. His eyes were trained on me, or more accurately, my bag.
Guess he must be the mage that scans through the contents of traveller bags. I'm actually quite curious what he sees in the pack of folding though, considering it's a bag of infinite space after all.
Curious about it, I checked his stats.

Hmm… Seems like Astromancy is the one that allows them to check the contents of storage bags huh? Interesting.
After confirming our identities, the guards waved us through to start questioning the next group of people behind us.
I turned back to the women once we were through the gates, "Sooo… Does that conclude our cooperation?"
Linette shook her head, "We would have to bring Hisei and-- Oh! I mean… We would have to bring Katsuki and Lady Aster to a slave shop that can help us transfer the ownership to you."
"Alright, do you know where the closest slave shop is?"
"Unfortunately not, although we can ask at The Guild since Lady Aster needs to submit the herb quest as well, right? They will also buy the Hell Wolf Alpha's Mana Crystal too."
,m I agreed with her so our little group proceeded towards The Guild together.
Linette and Katsuki followed me into the Guild while the others waited outside for us.
The three of us went directly to the reception counter and I was just a little bit surprised to see that Carla wasn't there. Instead, we got a young gentleman who also looks like a model.
"Good day ladies, how can The Guild help you today?"
I took out my Guild card and handed it to him before pulling out the bundle of herbs I had collected to drop on the counter.
He accepted both with efficient movements and quickly scanned my card before moving the bundle of herbs from the counter.
"Ah, please hold on a moment while we confirm the herbs are correct."
He disappeared behind a door and we were left to wait.
Linette smiled at me, "I'm still surprised that Miss Aster is only F rank."
I shrugged, "I only just started yesterday after all. Are you a member of The Guild as well?"
She pulled out her own Guild card and showed it to me. As expected, she was a member of the Merchant branch of The Guild.
Unlike the Mercenaries, it seems like the Merchants do not have a rank system.
"As a merchant, we can buy and sell to The Guild and make use of their auctions as well. But unlike the other branches, Merchants are expected to pay a monthly fee of one large silver coin. If a merchant is unable to pay the monthly fee, they will be barred from The Guild until they can pay it alongside a penalty on top of it."
Huh… Interesting… Although I don't know if I would actually be a merchant in the future it's still good to know I guess.
That was when I noticed Katsuki was looking around with interest clear in her eyes.
"First time in a Guild?" I asked.
She turned back and nodded, "If I had not been sold, I would have eventually joined up as a Mercenary as well."
"Oh? There are assassins signed up with the Guild as well?"
"It is a double edged sword to those in our line but yes. Assassins are adept at using traps and also taking down high value targets which would help in taking down monsters and bandits. But in the case of an assassin being caught taking an outside quest that involves assassinating someone important, The Guild will happily turn them over if asked."
I guess Guild sanctioned assasination quests would be an impossibility anyway.
"In that case, would you like to join The Guild as well?" I asked.
Katsuki shook her head, "I now serve Mistress Aster, that is my only goal now."
"Hmm… What if I ask you to?"
"Then I would gladly join it as well."
I'm a little worried that she would turn into a yes man at this rate… I hope Mother can help me with teaching her too.
The door opened again and the receptionist came back with my Guild card in his hand.
"Thank you for waiting, Miss Aster. We have confirmed the completion of the quest and here is the reward."
Five large bronze coins were placed in front of me.
Honestly, fifty Creas for maybe about five hours of work including the travel time? It's not too bad.
I then fished out the Hell Wolf Alpha's Mana Crystal.
"How much can I get for this?"
He took it and placed it on what looked like some kind of weighing scale.
"Oh? A Hell Wolf Alpha's Mana Crystal? These go for five large bronze coins each."
Seriously? Killing this thing netts me the same pay as that herb quest and that's not counting the materials either.
Seeing that he could recognise the monster through the Mana Crystal itself, I wonder why they needed me to cut off the ears of goblins to show I completed the goblin subjugation quest?
"Oh, you can submit those Mana Crystals as proof too," He explained when I asked. "It's just that some Mercenaries prefer to keep the Mana Crystals for their own use so we accept body parts of monsters as proof of subjugation too."
I nodded in understanding, "In that case, I'll sell that crystal."
He swiped the crystal from the scale and placed another five large bronze coins on the counter, "Thank you for your hard work. Would that be all, Ladies?"
I looked towards Linette and she got the message.
"We would like to know where the nearest or even the best Slave shop is?"
"Ah, if you want the closest one, there is one within the Docks district, but if you would like the most popular one you would have to go to the market district."
"I see, thank you."
With that, we left the Guild and rejoined the other girls outside, quickly deciding that we would just head for the market district since Linett's destination was there as well.
…
I wonder how Mother is doing?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C55 Making Her Officially Mine
When we got to the market district, we first made a stop at another store with a sign that said "Tiara Merchant Company" at its front. No prizes as to guessing why we're here.
A well dressed man was standing outside when we arrived, his eyes widening when he saw us.
He immediately rushed up and hugged Linette tightly, "Linette!! Thank the Gods, you're alright!! I was so worried!!"
Linette teared up, "Father… I'm ok now… I'm sorry to have worried you…"
I quickly checked him with [Screened].

That's quite a number of skills he has there. Though considering he's also the founder of said company, he must have worked hard to build his empire up from scratch so it makes sense for him to have those skills.
Malcolm stepped back from his daughter, "What happened? I got word that the caravan was attacked by goblins and there were no survivors!"
She furrowed her brows, "It's all because of Brad! That ingrate wasn't happy that I wouldn't marry him so he thought that it would be better to kill me while he runs off to Shendhala! I knew he was planning something but I didn't think he would do something this drastic… I thought he would only try to rape me on the trip and I was prepared to deal with that…"
"What?! That bastard! I'll put up a bounty for him! I'll make sure he will never set foot within the Kingdom's lands again! We must thank the Gods that you managed to escape!"
Linette shook her head before gesturing to me, "I had help, Father. If it weren't for Lady Aster here who had taken a quest from The Guild to slay the same goblins, I would not be standing here today."
He finally took notice of me and bowed his head slightly, "Well met, Lady Aster. I am Malcolm, owner of the Tiara Merchant Company. You have my utmost gratitude for saving my daughter. If there is anything I can do for you, you only need to ask."
I waved my hand quickly, feeling a little awkward that a man much older than I was was bowing his head to me, "Oh! There's no need for that! Miss Linette just happened to be there when I was getting rid of the goblins so it's simply a coincidence. Besides, she has already offered me compensation for my help."
Malcolm turned to his daughter and she nodded, "I offered the slave we were transporting as payment for her rescue and her protection to reach this city."
"I see. Thank you once again for saving my Linette, Lady Aster. I assume we'll need to arrange a recovery group to fetch the wagons now."
"Oh, that isn't necessary. Lady Aster has a magic bag of storage, father."
His eyes widened, "Lady Aster must be a famous Mercenary then? Only veteran Guild members are able to afford such a magic item."
"Oh, no no. I only just started yesterday actually. I only managed to get one due to some lucky circumstances."
Like, getting 'reincarnated here and given the option of buying one' kind of circumstance.
He nodded, "I understand. In that case, where is the rest of your party?"
"Hmm? Oh! I'm currently a solo Mercenary."
"... You took on… A Goblin raid party… All by yourself?"
Linette chipped in, "Lady Aster is really strong! She is at least Shadow tier in Umbramancy! She even managed to kill a Hell Wolf Alpha by herself!"
How does she know about my Umbra… Oh right… I used it to kill the goblins around them… I actually forgot about that.
"Ho? Then it seems my daughter is fortunate to meet a budding Mercenary like you, Lady Aster."
"Err… Could I know why you are calling me 'lady'? Just Aster is fine, you know?"
Linette blinked at me, "Lady Aster has a family name right? I saw it on your Guild card… Ah… I apologise, was that supposed to be a secret?"
Oh… Is this a case where only nobles get family names? That would explain why some of the people I met only had one name. Well… I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering who I suspect Mother to be.
Since she doesn't seem to be advertising it… I guess I should ask them to keep it a secret too.
"Ah, it's alright just… Don't advertise it I suppose…"
Malcolm smiled at me, "Not to worry, Miss Aster, I am quite familiar with your situation actually."
"Eh? You are?"
Does he know about Mother?
"That's right. It's quite common for children who aren't inheriting the family name to venture out on their own. Quite a number of them would join The Guild too so you're not alone."
Err… I guess I'll just let him think that's the case with me since I'm pretty sure Mother only has me as her child.
Whatever, I don't know how to explain to them anyway so I just nodded along.
Katsuki shifted a little closer to me and Malcolm's attention moved to her, "I take it that's the slave Miss Aster has taken an interest in? Have you changed her ownership yet?"
Linette shook her head, "We were planning to go there after Miss Aster has deposited our wares, father."
"Ah, in that case, allow me to accompany you as well, Miss Aster, it's the least I could do after you've not only rescued my daughter but also taken care of our wares. There's a slave shop just a few blocks down the road."
Since he offered, I wasn't going to say no either so we quickly brought out the wagons and trade goods before Malcolm led Linette, Katsuki and myself to the shop in question.
From the outside, it looked like any other shop and even the inside looked more like some classy hotel than a slave shop.
A man in a suit was there to greet us, "Good day sir and ladies. Welcome to the Dragon Cage, are you looking to sell or buy?"
"Neither," Malcolm answered him quickly before gesturing to Katsuki. "We would like to transfer the ownership of this slave here."
He took one look at the Inugami girl before nodding to us, "That wouldn't be a problem. I will have one of our mages attend to you for this. The transfer fee will be a small silver coin, would that be ok?"
Seriously? Just this already cost a hundred Creas? Then again, Katsuki was valued at three hundred thousand Creas so I suppose that's considered a small price and the Guild registration fee was twice of this.
The fact that Malcolm did not dispute the price either must mean that it was an expected price, since he simply nodded his head and fished out a silver coin from his pouch.
"I have confirmed the payment, would the original and new owners follow me with the slave, please?"
Linette and I followed behind the man while Katsuki moved a step behind me. Malcolm seemed content in waiting for us in the lobby area and waved us off.
We were brought to a rather opulent room and even invited to sit on the couch.
Katsuki naturally stood behind me without another word while Linette took the seat beside me.
A woman dressed similarly to the man who greeted us entered from a side door a few moments later.

Kalomancy huh? It's a magic that allows the user to bend beasts to their will, I suppose there's a subsection of it that allows them to be used in this case too?
"Good day, I will be the mage in charge of transferring the ownership. May I know who the original and new owner is?"
Linette raised her hand before gesturing to me, "I am the original owner. I wish to transfer the slave's ownership to her."
With how smoothly she told the mage, I suspect this isn't the first time she is doing something like this.
The slave mage then presented a needle and a small vial to the both of us.
"Please prick a drop of blood into the vials and I will begin the transference process."
I watched as Linette took the needle and pricked the tip of her finger, letting a small drop of her blood splatter into the vial before wiping her finger with a cloth the slave mage presented.
I copied her and was slightly surprised to feel no pain, which I suspect must be an enchantment from the needle or something.
The slave mage first took Linette's vial and gestured for Katsuki to come forward, the Inugami girl looking towards me for permission and only moving when I nodded at her.
I watched as the slave mage started casting a spell and the blood in Linette's vial swirled into the air before splattering against the collar on Katsuki's neck, seemingly disappearing as soon as it touched the metal.
I'm guessing if I hadn't had that duel with Katsuki, she would have pulled out that knife of hers and stabbed me in the back right now.
Fortunately, that didn't happen.
The slave mage then did the same thing with my blood and this time the collar seemed to glow a little before my blood disappeared as well.
[Slave collar: Magically enchanted collar that prevents the wearer from harming the one recognised as the owner of the slave. Current owner: Aster Nilm]
"It is done, thank you for using our services," The slave mage bowed before leaving without another word.
Well, that was fast.
Katsuki moved in front of me and knelt, "Katsuki once again greets Mistress."
I thought about asking if it was ok to free Katsuki from this slavery business… But something tells me asking that here would make me look very ignorant so I decided to save that question for Mother instead.
Speaking of which… How do I find her now?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C56 Now She's My Maid
"Once again, if you require a merchant or just any help in the future, do contact us at any of our branches, Lady Aster. It's the least I could do for you," Malcolm bowed before leaving with his daughter.
"What are we going to do now, Mistress?" Katsuki asked.
"Now… We go and find my Mother and get you some new clothes."
I was still thinking of where I should go to start finding her when I felt something soft envelop the back of my head.
"Ufufufu~ I leave my little one alone and she already got herself another girl~ As expected of my child!"
"How long have you been following us, Mommy?" I sighed, somehow not even surprised that she appeared here. I had a feeling she might have already been following me around since a while ago.
On the other hand, Katsuki actually jumped in surprise and even lowered herself into a combat stance, barely stopping herself from attacking Mother when she heard my words.
"Ara ara? Ever since you entered the city of course, ufufufu~"
"Unnn… Katsuki, this is my Mother. Mommy, this is my new slave, Katsuki."
Katsuki quickly bowed, "Ni… Nice to meet you… Madam…"
"Ufufu~ A cute one aren't you? Judging by your actions, you haven't been trained on how to serve, have you?"
The Inugami girl shook her head quickly, "No, Madam…"
"Ara? Then we should fix that~ But first, before we go clothes shopping, I suppose both of you can use a bath!"
We were thus dragged away by Mother to another part of the city where it was obviously made for the more wealthy inhabitants.
It was easy to tell since everyone around was dressed expensively and I most definitely stood out while wearing my armour and weapons.
However, because Mother was also dressed like them, no one even batted an eye at us.
We eventually came to a large building that had the sign "Dragon Roost", which I guessed was an inn. What's with this place and their fixation with dragons?
Mother took us by the hand and pulled us through the entrance, ignoring the staff that welcomed us as we stepped foot inside.
We went straight up the stairs until we reached the top floor where there was only a single set of double doors at the end of the corridor.
Mother took out a set of keys from within her bosoms and unlocked the door, pushing us in after her and locking the doors behind us.
She then guided us through another door which brought us to the bathroom before spinning us around to face her.
"Fufufu~ Your first lesson, little Katsuki, is that your Mistress should not wash herself! Therefore, you should be helping my little one get clean! Now before that, you can go ahead and start stripping her!"
"Mommy… Is this a good idea? It's her first day…"
Unexpectedly, Katsuki turned to me, "Please let me serve you, Mistress! I will not disappoint you!"
I'm not too worried about that since I doubt you can fail too badly in washing someone… But I guess it's better to just rip off the bandage right now so we don't need to deal with any awkwardness later.
By that, I mean letting her know I'm a futa.
I nodded at Katsuki and she began to start unfastening the straps that held my armour together, taking them off one by one with her dexterous fingers.
It was easy to see she knew her way around armours with how quickly she was stripping me since I'm sure she had to wear them for her own practice as well.
Very soon, my breasts bounced free after she unclipped my bra, the Inugami girl gasping at the sight before recovering herself.
Seriously though, even at this size my jugs were giving me back aches and I'm really hoping they don't grow to full size until I receive the "Weightless" lewd boon that helps me deal with this problem.
Mother was watching her closely as she pulled my boots off me before moving on to my pants. Her fingers unbuckled my belt before she pulled down my pants, coming face to face with the thing in between my legs.
"Oh… Mistress is a futa?"
I nodded.
"I see…"
That was all she said before she went back to take off the rest of my clothes, not even giving my manhood a second glance.
Huh… I guess I really am the weird one here. I guess to the locals, futas really just aren't that big of a deal.
Once I was naked, Katsuki then stripped herself which was basically just her pulling off the rag over her head and she was done.
While I had been distracted by Katsuki, it seems Mother had also stripped herself and was fully intending to join us in the bath.
Mother let me sit by the side so that she could wash Katsuki first, both so that she would be clean before she washed me and also Mother could show her how it's done first.
Mother first started with her hair, carefully using a pail to pour water over her head before soaping it up.
No, I'm not sure what the soap is made out of and I kind of suspect that an Off-Worlder might have invented it.
Mother instructed her on each step of the washing process, even telling her how much pressure she should be using to wash my hair.
Once Mother was done with her hair, she went ahead to wash the rest of her body including her front, instructing her exactly how she should be washing me.
"Fufufu~ All done! Now let's see you wash my little one!"
Katsuki obeyed and brought over her own pail of water and settled herself behind me.
"Ummm… May I wash you, Mistress?" She asked.
Not sure why she even needed to ask but I gave her my assent anyway.
"Mistress's hair is so smooth…" Katsuki marvelled while running her fingers through my hair.
"Ufufufu~ It is, isn't it? It will be up to you to maintain it after today~" Mother giggled.
Warm water was poured over my head before she started to work my hair first.
Mother continued to direct her in how to wash my hair, reminding her about exactly how much force to use and how she should be positioning her hands just to take care of my hair.
Once that was done and the soap was rinsed away, she began scrubbing away on my back.
It didn't take long for that to be done and she began washing my front as well, still being directed by Mother.
I also need to say this, I'm in a bath, completely naked with two other women. Katsuki may still not be developed but Mother most certainly was. Coupled with the fact that I was being scrubbed by another girl, there was definitely some kind of stimulation there.
What I'm trying to say is the fact that I was completely erect was perfectly normal.
Katsuki paused when she saw it standing in front of her, though it was more from surprise rather than from disgust.
"Ufufufu~ If my little one allows you to in the future, I suppose you could also help her to relieve that~" Mother giggled.
Both of us blushed but Katsuki quickly went back to washing me, trying to preserve as much decorum as she could.
Her inexperience clearly showed and she was understandably nervous about the whole thing, but with Mother's guidance, I was now squeaky clean.
The three of us then moved to the bath and our position was similar to my bath time with Ardi and Odeta, except the bathtub here was much larger than ours at home.
"Am I really allowed to be here?" Katsuki muttered. "I don't think slaves usually bathe with their mistresses…"
Ah, this would be the perfect time for me to ask Mother about this.
"Mother… Would it be ok for us to free her from her slave status?"
"Ara ara? What do you think of that, little Katsuki?"
Katsuki gasped and turned back to look at me, "Did I do something wrong Mistress? Is that why I'm being abandoned?"
"No, no," I quickly assured her. "I just felt maybe you might feel better if you don't have a collar around your neck."
She sighed in relief, "Ah… Umm… If it's ok… Could I remain as Mistress Aster's slave for now?"
"Eh? Any reason why?"
"In… In case my family were to find me again… They might overlook the fact that I'm serving Mistress because I am your slave."
You know… Before this, I wasn't too worried but after you have mentioned your family so many times I have a feeling they're going to show up any day now…
I tilted my head at her, "But would this actually prevent your family from doing anything? If they would really be upset that you're serving someone else, I doubt they would simply let it go if they knew you were enslaved."
"I… I suppose not… But I do not wish to be free… At least not now…"
"Hmmm… Could I ask why?"
She hesitated, "I… I think… I feel safe to know that I am Mistress's property…"
Ah… She's basically been leashed by her family all this time and the feeling of being free is scary for her. Thus, the collar actually makes her feel secure and safe instead of being restrictive in her eyes.
Oh well, if that's what she wants, I won't force her to accept it either.
But still, I don't like calling her a slave…
"How about… Instead of being my slave, you become my exclusive maid?" I suggested.
Her eyes widened, "A maid? Me? Are you sure, Mistress?"
"Eh? Why not?"
"Ufufufu~ A maid's position is quite high up especially if it's the personal maid of the heir of the house, my little one. She would pretty much be your right hand woman~"
"I see nothing wrong with that?"
"Oh my, do you hear that Katsuki? What do you say to my child's trust in you?"
Katsuki leapt out from the bath and went straight into a dogeza, "This Katsuki swears to serve Mistress for as long as I live!"
Errr… Is assigning her as my personal maid really that big of a deal?
Also… Just how important is our family Mother? I was born in a cave and grew up in what could basically be described as a farmhouse… When are you going to tell me these things?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C57 She Looks Cute In Uniform
After our bath, Mother taught Katsuki how to dress me and I wore the new dress that Mother had bought for me.
Apparently last night she was already done enchanting it so it was ready for me to wear.
Since I mentioned that I wanted to learn enchanting myself, Mother only helped me place a simple defensive and repairing enchantment on the dress so that I could further enchant it myself in the future.
Surprisingly, the bodice was not as restrictive as I thought it would be, though I'm not sure if it was due to my [Fashion Forward] boon, the fact that it was enchanted or it was just designed that way.
Once I was properly attired, we took Katsuki to the same boutique I got the dress from and the same assistant was there to receive us.
Unlike yesterday though, Mother already told me ahead of time that since Katsuki was my maid, I would need to be the one taking charge like how she did for me, though she did say money was not an issue I needed to worry about.
Thus, I was the one leading the way into the shop today.
The assistant seemed to understand the arrangement since she greeted me instead of Mother, "Good day, Miss Aster, are you looking for more clothes again?"
I shook my head, "No, I am looking for some clothes for my new maid. Could you show me your maid uniforms please?"
"Certainly, please follow me and I will show you the designs we have. Miss Aster can pick one you like and we can prepare a few sets for her use."
Our small group was brought to the same alcove and I sat down with Mother while Katsuki stood by my side.
The assistant then returned after a short while, wheeling in another clothes rack with several different maid uniform designs on it.
I was almost sure an Off-Worlder had designed them with how similar they were to the designs of our original world.
There's the standard Victorian style, a French one, a Japanese one, a Chinese one and even… An armoured maid uniform? Heck, there's even a camo maid uniform too.
Yeah… Something tells me an Off-Worlder definitely designed these.
"Do you see any that you like, Katsuki?" I asked, deciding that she should make the choice since she would be the one wearing it.
"I will take any that Mistress fancies the most."
Ugh… I should have known she would say something like that… I'm not that good with fashion you know… But it's ok, I was prepared!
"Katsuki, this is your first test from me. You will be wearing this uniform while you're serving me so you need to pick the most suitable one that you believe will aid you in your duties."
She gasped, "Understood, Mistress! I will not disappoint you!"
Random bullshit go! Don't underestimate the bullshitting power of an author! I can make something out of nothing at all!
Katsuki then started inspecting each of the uniforms carefully while a few servants came by and served us tea.
As though they had prepared ahead of time… They even had a plate of macarons for me!
I immediately started munching on them, enjoying the sublime taste I had with every bite.
Another plate of macarons was brought in front of me the moment I finished it.
THERE'S REFILLS?!!!
Ohmygosh this is the best shop ever!! I'm totally coming here every time I need clothes now!! Nom nom nom!!
I wasn't sure how much time passed but I knew I went through about four plates of macarons before Katsuki returned to me.
"Mistress, I think this one would be the best for me."
I looked up while my cheeks were still stuffed full of macarons to see what outfit she picked.
It seems like she had picked the one that had the Victorian design as the base but the hems of the dress and apron had frills added to them. The skirt itself was long enough to reach the ankles and the sleeves goes down to the wrists as well. What's more, there was even a large ribbon added to the back of the dress too.
It's like those standard maid uniforms you might find in an anime that was both classy and cute at the same time.
All in all, it looked really stylish which got me curious as to why she would choose a dress like that? I'd thought she would pick one with more practicality.
"Could I know why you chose this, Katsuki?"
"Yes, the long skirt would be able to conceal any weapons I choose to hide under it as well as those strapped to my legs, the same idea goes for the sleeves as well. The ribbon can also function as a rope when untied and the frills would serve as a distraction in a close combat fight. With its design, I would also be able to follow Mistress to any formal events should the need arise as well. The voluminous skirt could also be used as a hiding spot of Mistress in times of emergency as well."
Ah… It seems like she really did think this through… Although really? Letting me hide under her skirt? Umm… Ok, I guess that could be something that might happen… Like hiding from solicitors or something, I don't know…
"Unnn… Very well then, we will take this one. Prepare several sets of it for daily use and one set for her to change into right away."
Though I spoke like that… I was dirt broke, so Mother would still be the one footing the bill for this.
Hey, I only started working as a Mercenary yesterday… Give me a break…
Katsuki was thus shown the way to the changing rooms and she came back wearing one of the maid uniforms.
It was only then that I realised how Katsuki really looked.
All this while she didn't care much about her appearance and even after the bath, she only wore a simple shirt over herself while her own hair was pretty much still covering most of her face.
But the servants in the dressing room must have cleaned her up as her waist length hair was combed back to make space for the headdress that went with the uniform, allowing her whole face to finally be revealed.
I only just realised she had striking red eyes that adorned her cute, feminine face. The uniform accentuated her lithe figure which I was quite sure would definitely fill out when she grows older.
Somehow, I can picture her as both the 'rebel girl' and the 'graceful beauty' at the same time.
"Is it to your liking, Mistress?"
"You look really cute, Katsuki," I praised her.
"Ara, ara? It seems my dearest child is turning out to be a lady killer already! Do let me know if Mama is going to have any grandchildren soon!" Mother added unnecessarily.
"Mother!!" I groaned.
"Ufufufu~ Mama is fine with any partners my little one chooses~ It's fine if you would like to have a harem too!"
Mother is really having fun huh… Look, Katsuki is blushing up to her ears already…
The assistant returned again, "Thank you for your patronage, Miss Aster, your total would come to one medium gold coin."
Upon hearing that, Katsuki's face paled.
I don't blame her, what she just bought was half of her value as a slave after all.
Mother didn't even hesitate and simply fished out the coin from between her bosoms like it's some pocket dimension before handing it over to the assistant.
Katsuki was still frozen in surprise.
I quickly stood up from my seat to try and divert her attention, "Alright, I think we're done now, Mommy, should we go back home now?"
"Ara? And here Mama thought you would go and pick up another quest from the Guild to commemorate the two of you officially becoming Mistress and maid?"
Ugh… It's true that I want to do that but not right now… I don't exactly want to show up at that Guild so soon with a maid following me which would no doubt draw attention. I still remember how we got ambushed by those Mercenaries…
Not to mention the fact that Katsuki seems a little traumatised by how much money was exchanged in front of her right now.
Mother finally noticed the state of Katsuki, "Ara ara? It seems like she needs more training as a proper maid, my little one."
"Well… I don't suppose there's a maid academy somewhere, is there?" I asked rhetorically.
"Ufufu~ Actually there just so happens to be one~"
"Wait, really?!"
"Indeed there is, but it is located in Crown Capital City, I'm afraid. They do teach one on how to properly serve their masters and also how to protect them~ Is little Katsuki interested?"
My Inugami maid perked up her ears, "Umm… If I go there… Would I be able to serve Mistress better?"
"Ufufufu~ Of course!"
"Then I wish to go!"
Ahh… I'm guessing she's worried that I'll abandon her like her parents if I found her to be useless. The weight of wearing something so valuable must have broken her a little… I apologise, Katsuki… But Mother has also destroyed my sense of money too…
Mother turned to me, "How about it, my little one? Shall we move to the capital early for little Katsuki's education?"
I blinked at her, "What about the garden and the cockatrices, Mother?"
"Ufufufu~ I can go back there after a few more days to check up on them, no need to worry about it!"
"Unn… In that case… I suppose we can go. There's a Guild branch there too right?"
"Ufufu~ Naturally~"
"Then let's go!"
Thus, our next destination was the capital city of the Lehcarouc Kingdom.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C58 On The Road To The Capital
I thought we would actually fly towards the city but Mother said that there wasn't any rush so we simply joined up with a caravan that was heading there as well.
Before departing, I made sure to let the few acquaintances I made in this city know about my next stop.
Carla simply wished me the best of luck while Linette and Malcolm gave me some kind of card that would identify me as a VIP client of theirs in any of their stores.
I tried to decline it but they insisted so I had no choice but to accept it.
The funny thing was that I still have no idea what their Merchant Company actually deals with.
After that, we met up with the caravan that would be making their way towards Crown Capital City through Latipac City.
It was a rather small group owned by an independent merchant and we'll be hitching a ride with him and the Mercenaries he hired to guard his convoy.
Apparently in this World, short of hiring a dedicated carriage, this was the most common way for people to travel between cities.
Merchants usually don't fill up their wagons to the brim so there's always space left over to pick up passengers that happen to be travelling in the same direction. The passengers would pay for the seat and would be responsible for their own food and shelter during the trip unless they pay extra.
This was also a good chance for me to see real Mercenaries in action too! Aside from Ardi and her group of course. I wonder what they're up to now?
"Greetings! I am Dennis, the owner of this caravan group! It's nice to see beautiful ladies joining us for the trip!" A well dressed and plump Mahun greeted us.
Mother smiled at him, "Ara? What a flatterer you are! I know my child is beautiful of course but how nice of you to mention that~"
"Mommy…" I groaned.
"Oh, a mother and daughter pair I see! How nice! No need to worry, this route is relatively safe and I've travelled it quite often! Besides, we have a D rank Mercenary group escorting us as well!"
Considering I just wiped a few D rank mercenaries by myself not even a few days ago, that's not exactly reassuring. I'm guessing that a D rank is considered rather experienced here?
"Ufufu~ Thank you for your kind words! We are certainly looking forward to it!"
He nodded before moving to greet the other people who would be travelling with us as well. We weren't the only passengers he had after all.
Putting that aside, he was indeed quite polite and courteous.
After him, a young man wearing scale armour and a sword on his waist came by to greet us.
"Hello there, I am Jack, leader of the Free Wind Mercenary group, we'll be escorting you all on this journey!"
I quickly checked his stats.
[Name: Jack
Title: Leader of Free Wind Mercenary Group
Race: Mahun
Stats:
30 Strength
50 Dexterity
42 Endurance
15 Magic
Skills:
Leadership (Tier 2), Martial Skill-(Sword Proficiency (Tier 2), Shield Proficiency (Tier 2), Unarmed Proficiency (Tier 1))
Magic Skills:
Geomancy (Tier 1)]
Well… I suppose such stats are normal for a Mahun Mercenary? I've yet to see any Mahuns cross the forty mark for the strength stat at least.
"Oh my, what a well mannered young man you are! We'll be in your care!" Mother chirped happily.
I noticed that his gaze went to Mother's chest before moving to mine.
Ah… This is actually the first time I noticed anyone actually ogling at my chest. I wonder if there were more times I missed?
I have to say it does feel quite unpleasant.
At least the merchant from earlier was respectful and never let his eyes wander.
Good thing he quickly recovered and moved his gaze away from me before I felt the need to cover myself.
"Ahem… You can place your trust in us, we're quite experienced Mercenaries."
Mother giggled, "Ara? That does sound reassuring. We'll be in your care then."
He then excused himself and went off to speak to the others.
Surprisingly, Mother turned to Katsuki who was standing behind me, "Ufufufu~ What do you think, little Katsuki?"
My Inugami maid grimaced, "That man is trash for looking at Mistress with such eyes…"
"Ara ara? That is the perfect response! Ufufufu~ You'll definitely be a star student at the maid school!"
I don't even know what to say to that…
We hung around for a while more as the wagons were doing their final loading of their wares before Dennis gave out the signal for everyone to board.
We ended up being assigned to the wagon at the back of the train, sharing it with three members of the Free Wind Mercenary group, one of them being Jack himself.
The other two were also men, one of them wearing full plate armour with a tower shield leaning against his side while the other wore primarily cloth armour with a bow and a quiver full of arrows peeking out from his side.
I believe the rest of his party were spread out in the other wagons so that they could leap out and defend the convoy in case of an attack.
"Oh? How lucky we get to share the space with the beautiful ladies from earlier!" Jack greeted us immediately. "These two are my teammates, Markus the shieldbearer and Loyd the hunter!"
Markus waved and smiled in greeting while Loyd simply nodded at us.
As I was climbing aboard however, I felt three pairs of eyes lock themselves on me and I looked up just in time to see the three men shift their gaze elsewhere.
I sighed and ignored it, turning around to help Katsuki onto the back of the wagon.
Once everyone was on board, the convoy finally began the journey towards our destination.
Jack tried to make conversation with us, "So, where are you fair ladies headed to?"
Mother smiled at him, "Ufufu~ We are moving to the capital city to prepare for my child to attend school~ Although I would definitely miss the markets and the bustle of this city~"
Markus took the chance to enter the conversation, "Wahaha! It's a great city isn't it?! I, myself, enjoy coming here for the sights! It's one of the few places you can meet people from other races within this kingdom that isn't a slave!"
That got my attention, "Eh? Is there no other place around here that has other races mingling around as well?"
Jack chuckled, "You must have grown up in Dragon View Trade City your entire life eh? Mahuns are the primary race within Lehcarouc Kingdom and quite a sizeable chunk of our workforce consists of slaves from other races."
Hmm… I'm still not sure how slaves are usually treated in this World though, for all I know they might actually be treated well but I find that highly unlikely. I do know there are different kinds of slaves so most likely the treatment for each kind is different too.
I regret not looking around that slave shop I visited a little more. Even though I said all those things to Katsuki, I have no idea how I should treat her.
I looked back at them, "Don't the other races resent the kingdom for enslaving their people then?"
Markus laughed, "Wahaha! If anything, they should be grateful instead! Most of the slaves are criminals or people sold to pay off debts! So they get to dump their problematic people on the kingdom in return for money! Of course there are exceptions to this but it isn't worth fighting a war over it anyway."
I suppose it's better than conquering their lands to enslave the people as an alternative.
"Although I'm surprised you got yourself an Inugami to work for you willingly," Jack pointed out, nodding at Katsuki.
Ah, they probably didn't know she's a slave since the collar of her maid dress was high enough to hide the slave collar, something that I would like to remove when Katsuki is comfortable with the idea.
"Well… I kind of saved her so she agreed to serve me," I explained.
Loyd perked up after staying silent all this while, "Oh? Is the lady also a member of The Guild by any chance?"
I decided there wasn't any reason to hide it from them so I nodded, "I only just recently joined as a Mercenary as well so I'm currently F rank."
The three men made complicated faces at me but eventually just nodded at my words. I wonder what's with that reaction?
"They think Mistress is just a rich lady playing at being a Mercenary, Mistress…" Katsuki whispered beside me.
Ah, I guess that makes sense. My current clothes don't really give the feeling of being a Mercenary at all and coupled with Mother's dress and the fact I have Katsuki serving me as a maid, it does give that idea for outsiders.
Oh well, I don't really care to explain anyway, I'm not exactly interested in these guys who would openly ogle at my chest… Like what they are doing right now…
Ugh… I wonder if we will be able to change wagons later…

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C59 Camping Out
We made considerable progress on our trip towards our first stop which would be Latipac City that lies between Dragon View Trade City and Crown Capital City.
According to Mother, that place is considered the centre of trade for the Lehcarouc Kingdom due to its position within the Kingdom.
And according to Dennis, it will take us a little more than a week to get there at our current pace so we're making camp for the night.
So far the journey has been uneventful outside of having to deal with the small talk from the three men and their not so subtle ogling.
Mother seemed entirely nonplussed about their gazes but Katsuki kept glaring at them whenever she caught them staring.
With the wagons parked by the side of the road, we were expected to make our own camp which is also the reason why I'm panicking slightly.
"We don't have a tent, Mommy!"
"Ufufufu~ It does seem like we have not prepared one, but Mama is fine with simply sleeping with my little one curled up with me~"
"What about Katsuki?"
"Ara ara? She can curl up against you then~"
"Mommy!!"
She giggled and patted my head, "It's alright my little one~ Did you really think Mama will come here without some proper preparations?"
Mother gestured to me to come closer so I did, giving her the opportunity to pick up my Pack of Folding off my shoulders.
She then flipped it around such that it's upside down before reaching into its opening and pulling out an item disk.
Throwing it on the ground, the disk expanded and turned into a tent big enough for all three of us to sleep in.
As much as I appreciate the fact that Mother prepared this… But when and where did she get this tent and also sneak it into my bag?! This was most definitely not there before this!
Not noticing my obvious confusion, Mother went ahead to instruct Katsuki to get firewood for our campfire. My Inugami girl then ran off into the forest without another word.
"Mommy… When did you put this in my bag?"
"Ara, ara? It has always been there, my little one. Mama put it in there before giving it to you~"
Oh… I guess I didn't know since I never looked inside it when I first received it… Judging by the smile on Mother's face, she knew I never checked it.
"Did Mommy put anything else in there?"
"Ara, ara? Perhaps?"
I narrowed my eyes at her and she passed the Pack of Folding back to me, giving me a sly grin as she did so before she ducked inside the tent.
I flipped the bag upside down and stuck my hand inside the pack. Just so you know, when the bag is upside down, you take and store things from the bottom of the pile instead of the top.
Taking the first item plate from the pile, I pulled it out and shook it to make it turn back into the original item, only to find… A pair of black lace panties.
…
What kind of mother puts her own panties in her daughter's backpack?
I reached in and pulled out the next item plate and I was expecting it to be her bra but it turned out to be a piece of paper.
'For when my little one gets lonely~'
…
I sighed and put the two things back inside the backpack.
No, I'm not going to use it, but I won't throw it away either…
I slung my back over my shoulder and climbed inside the tent, finding Mother already stripped down to her underwear while unrolling the sleeping bags.
She even prepared multiple sleeping bags like she already expected me to have company…
Mother giggled when she saw me, "Did you like my present?"
"Is that a normal thing to put in a daughter's bag, Mommy?"
"Ufufufu~ I would hate to be normal, my little one. Being abnormal is more exciting don't you think?"
I can't argue with her on that one.
"Mistress?" Katsuki's voice came from outside.
Oh? She's already back so soon?
I went outside again to see Katsuki standing there with a bunch of firewood cradled in her arms.
"That was fast," I commented.
"Oh, I was trained to survive in the wild as well, Mistress. So such a thing is easy for me," She explained with a sense of pride.
I nodded and started to carve out a fire pit with my magic.
Oh, it's been a while since I last checked my stats haven't I?

Mana Management (Tier 2), Umbramancy (Tier 2), Electromancy (Tier 2), Lumenmancy (Tier 1), Pyromancy (Tier 1), Hydromancy (Tier 1), Aeromancy (Tier 1), Geomancy (Tier 1)]
Yep, I managed to learn the four basic elements quite easily that day, but levelling them is going to take quite a while. For now, I want to concentrate on Lumenmancy and bring it up to tier two first before anything else.
Katsuki watched as I piled the firewood into the hole before turning to my Inugami maid, "Do you mind lighting this up?"
She's the one with the tier two in Pyromancy after all.
"It would be my honour, Mistress."
She stretched out her hand and a small stream of fire flew out from her palm, igniting the tinder easily.
I thanked her before moving back to my Pack of Folding, digging through the item plates until I found my wok, a table, a chopping board, several plates, some meat, vegetables and also some condiments.
"Eh? Is Mistress cooking?" Katsuki asked.
"Hmm? That's right. Do you know how to cook?" I asked, though I already know the answer from looking at her stats.
She hung her head, "I apologise, Mistress… The best I can do is simply roast some meat over a spit…"
I giggled and patted her head, "Don't worry about it~ I'm sure they will teach you at the maid academy!"
That was when Mother poked her head out from the tent, "Ara, ara? Is my little one cooking? Ufufufu~ Mama is looking forward to it~"
It wasn't the first time I cooked as evident by my cooking skill being tier two so Mother trusted me with the fire without supervision.
Placing the ingredients on the table, I started preparing them to make a stir fry.
Katsuki seemed quite fascinated by what I was doing and watched intently as I placed the ingredients into my wok before moving towards the fire.
Using my own Pyromancy, I manipulated the fire to increase its heat, allowing me to start frying my prepared ingredients within the wok.
I noticed that my actions seemed to draw the attention of some of the others within the caravan but I paid them no mind. I'm guessing they were just curious about my unorthodox method of cooking since this should be foreign to them.
At least, that's what I think since Mother didn't seem to be surprised and the fact that this wok initially belonged to her meant she was at least familiar with some form of cuisine similar to this as well.
Soon enough, I had the portions separated into three separate plates and Mother emerged from the tent wearing a nightgown. At least she wasn't in her underwear…
"Ufufufu~ It looks like your skills have improved again, my sweet child~" Mother giggled after tasting a bite of the food.
Katsuki looked down on her own plate, "Is… Is it alright for me to have this, Mistress?"
"Of course~ Unless you think my cooking is not good enough for you to eat?"
"No! Not at all, Mistress!" She denied quickly, already moving to shovel a mouthful of food into her mouth, only to stop and moan at the taste.
"Mistress… It's soooo good…"
"Ehehe~ I'm glad you liked it!"
Right before I could start eating my own portion, I heard the sound of someone approaching us.
I looked up and what do you know? It's Jack.
"Hello ladies. I can't help but smell the delicious scent of food coming from here. Is there, by any chance, a way for me to have a taste?"
He even brought along an empty bowl as well.
I decided I could at least spare him some so I scooped out a little of mine into his bowl.
The Mercenary immediately brought a mouthful of it into his mouth and gasped, "Oh by the Gods! Did you make this?"
I nodded, taking the chance to eat my share and enjoying my own cooking.
"It's delicious, my lady! Damn, whoever your husband is in the future is going to be one lucky guy! Actually… What do you think of me? Do I stand a chance?"
Wow, this guy has absolutely no subtlety huh?
"I'm a futa and I like girls," I stated bluntly.
The only thing he said to that was a single "Oh".
It took a few more seconds before he finally recovered and wished us a good night, turning around to retreat back to his own camp.
Heh… I think I should do this more often!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C60 Do Your Job, Jack
The next day, we continued on our journey with Dennis's caravan.
Jack must have told his party about my preference for girls or something since they no longer try to hit on me. Unfortunately, the stares continued, much to Katsuki's annoyance.
They still talked to me like normal but the flirting had stopped so at least they were respectful of my sexual preferences. Otherwise I might have thrown them out.
Just as I was wishing that something interesting would happen, a shout came from outside.
"Monsters to the left! Hell Wolves!"
The three men immediately leapt out of the wagon, Markus moving surprisingly quickly despite wearing full plate armour and carrying his shield.
I looked up and saw several other people leaping out of the wagons ahead of us as well, all of them moving up to form a defensive line against the Hell Wolves.
Oooh! This is my first time witnessing a group vs group battle! This looks awesome! I should definitely take some notes so that I can direct my summons better in the future!
The Mercenaries were still outnumbered with their side only having fifteen people and the Hell Wolves having around forty or so, but none of them look concerned by the disparity in numbers.
Three of them wielding tower shields stood at the front resolutely, showing no fear in their stances as they stared down the group of Hell Wolves.
Behind them were two party members who wielded spears, occupying the spaces in between the shields to poke the pointy ends of their weapons towards the wolves.
The rest were a mix of archers, swordsmen and what looked like mages mixed in the crowd.
Judging by how casual the others were treating this situation, I'm guessing that this must be a common enough occurrence and that this wasn't too big of a threat to these Mercenaries.
"They're coming!" One of the shield bearers shouted, bracing himself for impact.
The archers and mages started firing their projectiles into the throng and killing several of them before they could reach their shieldbearers.
Jack shouted out instructions and the others spread out along the flanks right as the first of the wolves clashed against their front lines.
The two spearmen thrusted out their polearms, skewering the first two wolves that tried to leap at their comrades.
The next bunch of wolves smashed themselves into the shields and the shieldbearers held firm, their heels digging into the ground as they stood against the onslaught.
Jack barked out another order and the rest of the party charged forward, attacking the flanks of the Hell wolves and cutting them down with relative ease.
It seems like most of them have stats higher than a Hell Wolf so it wasn't that surprising that they weren't really struggling despite the number disadvantage.
What I'm concerned about is how they were going to deal with the Hell Wolf Alpha that was at the very back of the horde.
Jack saw the monster and shouted out another order, "The Alpha is coming! Archers, Mages, concentrate fire on it!"
His party members reacted quickly and redirected their firepower towards the boss monster.
It managed to dodge through most of the attacks but a few of the arrows and spells still managed to score a few hits on it, though they were just superficial wounds at most.
Fortunately, it seems like the attack was mainly aimed at slowing the boss down so that the rest of the party could wipe out the mobs first, in which case that was a roaring success.
The three tanks moved forward and locked their shields together, bracing themselves as the Alpha wolf smashed into their shield wall.
They managed to hold on despite the wolf's superior strength with the support of their comrades, allowing the others to descend upon the beast.
I watched on as they surrounded the wolf, splitting into two groups to attack the wolf's flanks and retreating when it tried to snap at them.
The tanks would then smash the wolf with their shields to regain its aggro, allowing the rest of the party to engage the wolf again.
Eventually, Jack managed to slice through the wolf's neck and the battle ended with their victory and no casualties to their party.
The others in the caravan cheered for them and congratulated them on their victory, treating this more like a show than an actual threat.
"Mistress would have dealt with those wolves easily…" Katsuki muttered disappointedly.
"Ufufufu~ Indeed~ My child is the best, after all!" Mother agreed.
I decided not to offer my own opinions on the battle.
Their party then began disassembling the wolves for their Mana Crystals and parts before setting rest of the corpses on fire, returning back to their wagons.
Jack was quite smug as he sat down across from me, "So how was the show my lady? Is this the first time you've seen a fight like this?"
I nodded, "It was quite educational and it was indeed the first time I've seen a group battle."
"Oh? If you'd like, I can give you some pointers with the sword! You can see it as a senior teaching the junior!"
Unexpectedly, Katsuki answered in my stead, "My Mistress is stronger than you. She could have taken out that Hell Wolf Alpha by herself."
Erm… Katsuki? I didn't need them to know that…
Mother giggled, "Ara, ara? Little Katsuki, it's not good for the maid to speak for their Mistress unless given permission~"
Katsuki gasped, "My apologies, Mistress!"
"Umm… It's ok… You're still learning," I assured her before turning back to Jack. "Sorry about that."
Jack waved his hand, "It's alright, I understand that it might look easy to an onlooker but Hell Wolf Alphas are classified as D rank monsters because of their strength, speed and ability to lead a pack. It's normal to have a D rank party like us to coordinate like that to take one down."
I leaned forward, "Just out of curiosity… What rank would a Wyvern be?"
"Oh? Depending on the type of wyvern, they can be anywhere between B to S rank."
"And dragons?"
"Ha! Those are at the very minimum A ranks and going all the way up to SSS rank. The ones in the triple S rank are strong enough to wipe out entire cities!"
"Are there… Are there people out there who can challenge dragons?"
Jack grinned at me, "My lady, the path of a Mercenary isn't as simple as you might think it is. There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved to get stronger or even just make a name for yourself. To answer your question… Yes, there are people out there who can challenge dragons by themselves but they are few and far between. Those people can be considered to be gifted by the Gods themselves. For people like us? We don't stand a chance at all."
I really want to ask if those people are Off-Worlders but I'm not sure if these people even know about them. From what I know, it's not exactly common knowledge and Mother did say there are mixed reactions from those that are in the know about them.
What's more… I don't know if there are others like that trashy asshole who is going around hunting ther Off-Worlders either so it's better to be cautious.
Of course, I know not all Off-Worlders are like that trashy asshole but still, can't blame me for being more paranoid because of that. I have no interest in dying a second time before I get to explore this World and eat all the sweets it has to offer!
But that doesn't mean I won't try to find out as much information as I can right now!
"So who's the strongest Mercenary right now?"
Markus let out a bark of laughter, "Ha! That's a question that is impossible to answer, little lady! Sure, there are a number of SSS rank Mercenaries and Dungeoneers out there, but almost none of them are interested in challenging their peers to find out who is stronger!"
"Eh? Why not?"
Loyd shook his head, "That's because their reputation would be at stake. Even if one of them were to win, it would only bring them a little bit more fame than normal which isn't worth the risk of having their own reputation stained with defeat. No doubt, they might have challenged each other in private but the results of such matches are never made known. Besides… Each of them have their own specialties so it's already hard to judge."
Jack nodded, "An SSS rank mage might be ranked that way because of his powerful magic, but he requires a long casting time for his spells. Pit him against a SSS rank warrior in an arena and the mage will get cut down without question. Give the mage enough space to cast their magic and the warrior would be the one who loses. So how do you determine who is the stronger one?"
Huh… That's quite surprising… I thought there would be those hot headed Mercenaries who want to prove they are the strongest in the world or something and go around challenging everyone.
Then I realised that such people probably won't go very far before they offend someone stronger than them who would then kill them off somehow.
Perhaps some of the SSS rank people are like that too, except they learned to keep that a secret from the public eye.
I wonder… Would I be counted amongst their numbers one day? And what are the chances of me meeting one?
…
Is Mother a SSS rank?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER TRANSMIGRATORS IN MY HAREM FANTASY?C61 Hiring Some Guides
The rest of the journey was uneventful enough, with the most interesting part of our journey being the nights I spent wedged between Katsuki and Mother in the tent.
Katsuki was obviously reluctant to share a tent with me stating it would not be proper but since I didn't want her to sleep outside, I made it into an order and she had no choice but to obey.
One very important thing I have to mention…
HER TAIL IS SO FLUFFLYYYYY!!
She was really against it at first which was surprising considering she hasn't outright rejected me for anything before this but she relented after I started begging her. Only sad part is that she requested me to only do it in private.
She even let me hug it to sleep!! Ahhhh!! Truly beyond blissful!! I want to hug her to sleep every night from now on!!
Ahhhh… Fluff fluff~
Ahem… Moving on…
Just as the time was nearing midday, our stopover destination was in sight.
"Welcome to the Lehcarouc Kingdom's centre of trade! Latipac City!" Jack gestured smugly.
The city certainly lives up to its name because that place was huuuuuge!
According to Mother, Dragon View Trade City was initially designed to be a trading port first before they had to fortify it because of Dragon attacks. Latipac city on the other hand, was designed as a fortress being the last line of defence before invaders would reach the capital city, only to later turn into the trading hub with its central location.
A giant hexagonal shaped wall surrounded the city and featured six entrances on each side. Apparently they only started with two entrances but more were added later to maximise the speed of which one can enter the city.
Within the city itself were six main roads that led from each gate to merge in the very centre of the city to form a giant plaza where the paths meet to serve as the city's administrative centre.
The main roads also serve to separate the different districts of the city with each section focusing on various different kinds of trade.
In other words… The city looks like a pizza from above.
Our convoy entered from the northwestern gates easily enough. The guards did a quick check of all of us and we only needed to present our identification with Katsuki simply showing her slave collar.
I did notice several mages stationed near the gates watching everyone entering the city, no doubt scanning everyone for magic bags and hidden contrabands.
With that, our group stepped past the walls and into the city itself, mixing in with the rest of the merchants and visitors currently moving through the city's main streets.
Just like what Jack and Markus had said, unlike Dragon View Trade city, pretty much everyone around was a Mahun and my group stood out quite a bit.
Our convoy soon stopped at an open area where everyone started piling out of their respective wagons, gathering ourselves in front of Dennis.
"We've arrived at Latipac City! Thank you all for travelling with us and the Free Wind Mercenary group for escorting us! Our next destination will be Crown Capital City so for those of you who would be joining us for that trip, we will set forth two days from now!"
The others thanked the Mercenaries for their protection once again before they dispersed.
"What are we going to do now, Mommy?" I asked.
Mother tapped her chin with a finger, "Ara~ I suppose we can either stay here for the two days before setting off or look for another caravan group that is setting off today. What does my little one like to do?"
I don't really mind spending two days here especially since this is a new place after all, it would be a waste to arrive at a new place and barely spend any time there before moving on. Transits are sad.
With that decided, we wanted to head out to search for an inn to stay for the next two nights. But before we could even leave, Jack appeared in front of us again.
"Hello there again ladies! I'm guessing it's your first time in this city right? Need a guide? I've been in this city enough times to serve as a guide for you!"
I tilted my head at him, "Umm… You do remember that I told you I'm a futa and have no interest in guys, right?"
He grinned, "Oh trust me, there's no ulterior motive for this. I'm just offering our services for the fair ladies that we had enjoyed the companionship of for the past few days."
"In other words… You want us to hire you as guides?"
"Ahaha! I suppose you can see it that way! So how about it? I'll be willing to lead you ladies around for just five large bronze coins. You get a knowledgeable guide and also a few well known Mercenaries as your own escort! That would stop any other guys from annoying you by trying to pick you ladies up! A good deal, don't you think?"
He does have a good head for sales, I'll give him that.
I looked at Mother and she simply smiled and nodded at me, so I shrugged.
"Alright, I suppose it wouldn't hurt," I accepted his offer before passing the coins to him.
"Oh, we'll make sure you won't regret it! Are we ready, gang?"
Four of his party members appeared beside him including Markus and Loyd who I have already met before. The other two were female Mahuns with one of them being the spear wielder I saw while the other was obviously a mage with her cloak and staff.
Jack gestured to his party, "Ladies, you already know Markus and Loyd but these two here are Sabrina and Melissa."
The two girls bowed in greeting while Jack turned to me, "Sabrina, Melissa, this is… Oh… I just realised I never did ask what yours and your companions' names were, my fair lady?"
I curtsied like how Mother had taught me, "I am Aster. This is my Mother and this is my servant, Katsuki. Nice to meet all of you."
"Oh, a beautiful name for a beautiful lady!" Jack praised.
Seriously, could he stop calling me that? It kind of feels like he's saying all that to try and deny the fact that I was a futa.
Surprisingly, Melissa, the mage, went up and kicked Jack in the shins.
"Don't worry, Miss Aster… Despite his obvious shortcomings, I can assure you that not everyone in this party is like that. If you feel uncomfortable with him, either myself or Sabrina can take his place in bring your guide."
"Ow… Oi, oi… Is that any way to treat your leader, Melissa? I'm hurt, you know?"
She scowled at him, "I know you've been checking her out you shitty leader. Could you at least be a decent Mahun being for once? Do I need to remind you how you made our previous client pissed off by your constant leering?"
"It wasn't even that bad…" He muttered lamely, though he obediently backed down, allowing her to take charge instead.
Mother stepped beside me, "Ufufufu~ It's nice to meet you, Miss Melissa~ I suppose we will be in your care?"
"Thank you for hiring us again. For starters, is there anywhere in particular you would like to visit?"
"Ara, ara? I suppose we would need an inn to stay the night first. Is there somewhere in particular that you would recommend?"
"Oh, that depends on what kind of inn you are looking for. Are you looking for the ones nobles would go for or are you fine with just a middle class one?"
"Ufufufu~ What do you think, my little one?" Mother asked me.
"Umm… I think we'll be fine with the inn you guys would choose to stay in."
I'm still not sure how wealthy Mother was despite her splurging so much on our clothes already. In fact, I'm feeling especially nervous in this overpriced dress and I'm sure Katsuki feels the same as well.
I currently have about a little over one thousand Creas right now so maybe something within that budget would be good enough.
"Oh, in that case that's quite simple. There's an inn just down the road that is quite popular with travellers. It costs one Crea for a double room, twice that for a room with a bath attached and food can be included for another one Crea."
That is… Actually quite cheap?
Then again, after experiencing the large amount of money involved in our transactions so far, my understanding of the value for the money here might have gotten a little skewered…
How much does an average family earn around here anyway?
Oh god, economics… I don't want to delve into that… Whatever, I can afford it and I'm also planning on picking up some quests from the local Guild to fulfil as well so it shouldn't be a problem to get a room with the attached bath!
It's all thanks to the power of Mana Crystals that a thing like attached bathrooms is possible. Otherwise, we would probably be paying to have a pail of water delivered to our room as the only way to wash ourselves.
Magic truly is convenient.
"Let's go with that then, Mommy," I decided.
"Ufufufu~ As my little one has said, we will take that. Aside from that, we would also like to know about the local specialties! My child is especially interested in sweets!"
At the mention of that, the eyes of the two girls shone while the males groaned.
"We know just the place for that! Follow us!!"
Oh? It looks like these two girls like sweets too! How perfect!!
