Chapter 64 - Chapter 63

SCP TERMS

SCP-347, known as "The Invisible Woman," is a completely invisible human female.

--------------MC POV------------

When the guards began escorting me to my room. I was expecting my room to be that of a prison room. Where the walls were depressing, the bed being that of an old spring mattress or the bed being hung by chains. I don't think anyone would blame for thinking that. I mean the hallway walls here were starting to make me feel depressed. The only things that were on the walls were "SCP Secure. Contain. Protect" or "Area whatever" or "SCP whatever location".

The thing that did get me though was that there were a few human looking SCPs walking around. I mean they were escorted by guards like I was, but still at least they got to walk around. One of them was an invisible woman. It was funny seeing her clothing, but not her body. She was wearing a yellow t-shirt, short jeans, and a…full makeup mask on her face, which I assumed was to see what her facial expression was. Which showed that she was currently happy to be walking around.

"Hey you guys okay if I say Hi?" I asked, too bad for them I just did what I wanted too anyway. What were they going to do shoot me?

I walked up to her and spoke.

"Hey invisible chick. What's up?"

The guards weren't happy, and the makeup mask she wore showed a shocked expression.

"SCP-8937 get back here right now." My guards said, as they ran towards me.

"Relax. Relax. You want to hit this? I might have put a little too much in this pipe. Uh…my teacher said it would help me relax, but I think it is doing way more than that. Hehehe"

"Oh yeah. I like you already. What is your name or number or whatever short stuff."

"8937. Is what they call me, but you can just call me Max….You haven`t answered the question? You taking a hit or-"

"NO!"

"Enough!"

"SCP-8937 this is your last fucking warning. Get in your containment cell now."

"SCP-347 if you don't keep moving, I will have to put it on your record. You are already close to losing your privileges. It aint worth it."

"Lame. Sorry invisible chick. But you heard the white man."

"Hey. Maybe they will let us use the yard later. I can show you around it whenever they let us."

"Cool thanks"

"Alright. Move."

We finally got to my containment cell, which didn't look bad at all. It looked more like a hotel room from what I could see.

"Get in." the guard said. The moment I got into the room, the door shut behind me. There was a lot of locking sounds, and what sounded like a battery being powered up.

The entrance room had a couch and a bulky TV. The floors were hard carpet, and had a fresh clean smell to it. There was even a small kitchen area, that didn't have anything kitchen related in it besides the cabinets. There wasn't a stove, microwave or anything to make food. Hell, there wasn't even anything in the cabinets. I did have my own personal bathroom. There was a sink, mirror, and a bathtub. Finally, my room was kind of plain, with just a queen size bed in it. Overall not bad.

My only complaint were the active security cameras on the walls, that had a view of every corner of my room. If that wasn't unnerving, I didn't know what was. There was even a camera in the bathroom. I couldn't imagine having to use the bathroom, knowing a camera is watching you. That has got to be the most unsettling thing ever.

Curious, I went to the living room and turned on the TV. The only thing it said was 'See site personnel to view channels'. Should have figured, looking through the drawers, and cabinets. I have learned that there was nothing here. No VHS, DVD, Gaming consoles, Nothing.

Well, with nothing to do I guess it is back to reading.

"Onyx. Give me a book volume one of bestiary please."

I didn't need to look to see that the shadows in the corner began moving, stretching, and then finally going back to normal. It was maybe about thirty seconds later that a shadow tentacle emerged to hand me a book.

"Thank you. I want you to stay at the library. The rest of you are to explore the surrounding area. Dismiss."

The shadows again began moving unnaturally, before turning back to normal. I began reading the book, but I couldn't help but feel the stare coming from the camera. It felt like someone leaning over your shoulder to try to read that text you got, or trying to see what show you are watching on your phone. It distracted me from being able to focus on anything. I couldn't take it anymore.

"I can feel you watching me you know. Please stop. I want to read this, and you are distracting me."

I only got to the part where the book talked about some kind of pumpkin creature, before I slammed the book shut and said.

"Jesus fucking christ nigga. I can fucking feel your god damn eyeballs. Seriously stop fucking watching me. I. WANT. TO. READ. IN. PEACE."

I wasn't even a day in this place, and I already hated it. The trip here was ass, the people were annoying, and now I could feel myself being watched. No wonder all the human SCPs hated this place.

Ugh..the faster this contract thing goes, the faster I can get the fuck out of here.

The intercom went off in my room, it was a male voice that said.

"SCP-8937, your appointment with your counselor Dr. Selene. Will take place in 15 minutes. Please be ready to be escorted by the guards by then."

I closed my book realizing that I probably wouldn't be able to get much reading done. The next 15 minutes was just me relaxing on the couch, smoking my pipe. I didn't know what the hell my teacher put in this thing, but it had a high-end cigar flavor to it. The smell of the pipe had a stronger pure tobacco smell. Overall, the experience was nice.

The door opened, as two guards came in.

"SCP-8937, we are here to escort you to your appointment. Come with us please."

I wasn't going to make life hard for them, so I did as they instructed me to do. We walked through the halls. Passing by whitecoats, task force teams, and other personnel. The office I was brought in to wasn't something you would think a psychologist would have.

The room only had a wooden desk, a computer, and two chairs. The one chair was for Dr. Selene and the other was naturally for me.

Dr.Selene didn't get up from her seat. She looked at the guards who escorted me and said.

"Thank you gentleman, that is all."

"Sele-"

"I will be fine.8937 wont hurt me right?"

"Not unless you seriously piss me off."

"See, I will be fine."

The two guards left, shutting the door behind them. I looked at her, watching her body language, and non-verbal language. Selene from what I learned about her in 'otherworld' was that she was an extremely curious individual. She also wasn't scared about much things, she didn't scream or do anything of that bullshit when that incident happened.

"Are you dumb?"

"Not how I thought this first counseling would go. But, why do you say that?"

"Seriously? We are together in a locked room. I could easily kill you from here if I wanted to? Why risk yourself in this situation?"

"I like to believe that being open like this allows for more trust to build between us. I want to get to know you, and help where I can."

"uh huh.."

"We will be doing this for some time. So. To start off what would you like me to call you?"

"Max."

The counseling went on for a long time. She never asked questions about my new looks, or my powers, or 'otherworld'. Her questions at first were reviews of my prior mental psychiatric history. She asked about why I said the things I did at the hospital, and at the Child Services staff members. She questioned me about how I felt about Playcare, about my friends, about the counselors there, and a bunch of other stuff.

The counseling session ended with her office clock going off.

"Alright that is it. Thank you Max for being so cooperative for me."

"Sure. So? How many times do I need to do this?"

"We will be doing this everyday for about two weeks, then move on to weekly, and after that…it will depend."

"Seems like a lot, is it really necessary?"

"It is standard procedure for new humanoid SCPs, to receive this much counseling. It helps the Foundation better understand what the needs of our humanoid SCP friends are."

"Gotcha."

"Alright well. Same time tomorrow. Don't forget, if you get bored you can request any movies that we have in the recreation room."

"Thanks"

The door opened, and the same guards that had escorted me here were outside waiting. They looked tensed, like they were waiting for some crazy shit to happen. Before walking back to my room I asked the guards if I could take movies into my room. He agreed, saying that he would put the request in. I just needed to list out the movies I wanted. I listed out a few classic Disney movies, Lion King being one of them. I liked that movie.

I was getting a little hunger and told the guards I wanted tacos for dinner. I figured it would be a good start of my Foundation life. Starting off strong with the Lion King movie, and tacos.

It took a while for my request to get approved. I knew it was approved, because the TV switched from "Give request to on-site SCP staff" to "Available".

After that the sound of my door opened. The guards brought in my tacos, along with popcorn, and the movies I requested.

"Thanks." I said to them, before the guards left my room.

I watched the movie, and ate the food. The food tasted strange though, hopefully the Foundation didn't put anything creepy in this. The last thing I wanted was to deal with the thought of my food being bugged. Both literally and figuratively.

It was a shame, I only took a few bites of the tacos before I couldn't eat it anymore. The taste was getting to me, and the popcorn wasn't much better. I should ask about that tomorrow.
