Kinova put her bag in the cabinet above and completely layed down on her seat.
"Ahhh this is comfy." She was also trying to process what just happened like, she's in a train which is riding to Kitoris... Her dream school which she taught was all fiction.
There was a glowup clock in her room that said '11:59'
The train wasn't moving yet. Students were still boarding, chatting, yawning, and shuffling into their seats. She could feel like something big was about to happen.
Suddenly, a soft voice echoed from above speaker.
"Portal opening in 60 seconds. Please remain seated. Hold onto your reality and enjoy your ride."
Kinova gulped. "Hold onto your wha-"
12:00!!!
The train lurched so hard, Kinova nearly flew out of her seat.
Colors outside the window turned into liquid light purple and blue— twisting, melting, rushing past at an impossible speed. She felt like she was flying and falling at the same time.
Then—
Stillness.
They were riding on the silver sea
Kinova's breath caught in her throat.
There it was... Kitoris High Academes.
She picked her bag and headed towards the school over the bridge, she was amazed by it's beauty!
The school looked like a literal dream, it was colored with gorgeous shades of pink,white,red, yellow and blue. Green grass with light pink roses all over the ground, pointed towers with hearts on top.
"Beautiful, right?" a voice said, suddenly next to her.
Kinova turned to find a girl tanding beside her . She was adorable— literally and figuratively. Warm skin, straight black pigtails, round face, big black eyes and a nice yellow-beige outfit with dark green shorts. Her sash was a shimmery color of Orange and said: Vice head Girl.
"I'm Ava," she said with a grin. "I've been in Kitoris my whole life sooo yea, it's good here."
Kinova smiled shyly. "I'm Kinova, it must be your 3rd year here"
"Well, no" Ava chuckled. "I meant since kindergarten. Kitoris got a separate campus for younglings, 'Kitoris Junior Academes' . "
Kinova answered "Oh wow, That's nice!"
"Yup. By the way I never asked your kind of magic spirit."
"My magic spirit?"
"Yeah, you get sorted into your house according to your spirit type. Mines a demon."
"Oh um, I dunno mine."
"Oh yeah, I forgot your from human world, Don't worry though, there will be some tests held for you so you can find out what'syour spirit type."
"Okayy."
After walking half way through the corridors, looking at the portraits
"Hey" Ava leaned in with a smirk, "since it's your first day and you're stuck with me — I'm going to give you a mini tour. No arguments."
Kinova blinked. "Is that part of your job?"
"Nope," Ava said, popping the p. "I just like showing off the view. Plus , you'll get to .eet your classmates!."
Kinova groaned a little, she ws super tired and did not want to socialize at the moment.
"Let's go Kinova, stop being cranky"
