Kimberly held Anna's hands and cried. She had already introduced Pete to them, but the problem was Kane.
"What did he do?" Anna asked, anger evident in her voice.
Like every pack member, Anna was also sick and tired of her alphas' doings. He had set his eyes on these two sisters for years, and now, since Anna was already married and had a child of her own, Kimberly was the only one he would try to get into his bed before she gave her virginity to her mate.
With their mother now deceased, and her father, the beta who couldn't do much, other then plead with him to leave them be, Anna took it upon herself to see to it that Kimberly was safe.
Although Kimberly was the sharp one, with no filter in her mouth, when it came to her mate, she too had gone weak.
"Anna, he's saying that he'll kill him. Pete is only human, and the council would never agree on a human being part of a pack! What should I do?" Kimberly said, still sobbing.
