Tears flowed freely from Kimberly's eyes, and Pete held her hands tightly. Arya, Rodriguez, and Michelle were also emotional.
Arya had always known that it was hard on her aunt, and that's why she never spoke about it, but this is insanely painful, especially for a nineteen year old, to go through.
"Aunt Kim, how did you manage in the human world?" Arya asked.
"It was hard at first... but then, I got used to it. And I had help," she said, looking at Pete.
"Yeah. She always thought that the president was like the Alpha of the humans, since he makes the rules and we all just follow him," Pete added, smiling.
"Hhmmm... coming to think of it, she's not wrong," said Michelle. "The only difference is that we vote for the president, while the Alpha is already decided at birth."
"And all the world leaders rule different countries; their own territories and outsiders can only visit, but to live there, you need their permission."
