Kevin found himself entering a trance lile state as soon as the blue liquid was poured on the candle, the candle flame turning a stark blue colour.
'What....what the..?'
He tried to turn and look at Arthur, but he couldn't muster up the will to do so, however he felt Arthur in the same state as he hadn't said anythung even after being silent for so long... how long had it been?... he didn't know.. soon he foind himself losing track of his thoughts completely and the scene shifted.
'Where...a..m...i?'
That was his last thought as he found himself under a bright sky, below there was a hazy sea and Kevin himself was floating on a island of bright white..or atleast it seemed that way, as Kevin lost track of his thoughts the island churned releasing bubbles and various projections.. Kevin's figure was slowly goong down and almost sinking into it, however just as his figure touched the surface of the island, a gray fog appeared expanding and engulfing him, Kevin suddenly regained control over his thoughts.
'Wha- what the!'
Kevin was startled by the sudden appearence pf the gray fog, however he soon felt connected to it, almost as if... as if it were protecting him.
'Huh... is this like... a cheat?'
Kevin pondered if the fog was like a cheat he got due to transmigration, after all he seemed to be able to control it to cover which ever portion of the white island.
'Speaking of which... what is this island..and where am i ?!'
Just as he finished that thought, he found the captain of the Mystery Seekers entering the realm.
'Damn it! How did she get here.. wait come to think of it.. i came here after she poured something into the candle... could this be her beyonder power?'
Kevin immediatly concealed himself within the gray fog, but thought against it after all this woman had brought him in so wouldn't she be suspicious if he wasn't here. He quickly acted as if he were in the same thoughtless state as before.
"What do you remember from the night before" the lady asked.
As she did Kevin saw a bunch of bubbles floating up, they seemed to contain frozen scenes of.. of his memories.
'Damnation! They include memories of my original world' just as he was thinking how to prevent them from being discovered, the gray fog moved and according to his thoughts swallowed the memories he didn't want to reveal, leaving only the memories of Kevin Heart and nothing related to Yang Bai.
'Hmmm.. quite useful.. atleast i think so.. what does it do anyway.. what is it?'
Just as he thought this he felt a few new presence within the grey fog.. they were new and upon focusing he found out that there had been a presence from almost the same time as him, the new presence and the old one didn't seem to be interested in him so he kept silent as the woman asked more questions only gaining answers from the memories and thoughts he wanted to reveal.
..and soon the 'test' was over as he found himself in the real world, he acted to be groggy and sleepy while thinking to himself.
'What was that thing it doesn't seem to do anything except for hide my thoughts when other pry into it... and that island..could it be considered as a projection of my inner consicousness?'
Beside him he found Arthur slowly coming to his senses pretty much the same state in which he was acting to be groggy and sleepy... however there was no way to tell if he was acting or actually like that.. the bastard's acting was always to much, he was worried that Arthur might reveal something but considering he also transmigrated he must also be connected to the gray fog in some way.
'And through that we can conclude that the presences i found were my friends..most likely that is... there is still no solid proof'
Then he was pulled from his thoughts by a question from the lady.
"the test is over now.. you passed.. but there's still danger.... so, how about becoming a Mystery Seeker? .... oh and the name's Leah by the way."
