After Shazam sent a massive ball of electricity at Darkseid, it caused a huge explosion that sent Darkseid crashing to the ground. Flash asked, "Did it work?" and Shazam answered, "Yeah, I think so," but right then I crushed their hopes: "No, even if it blinded him, he won't give up that easily." Shazam, who had been hoping Darkseid was already finished, groaned in annoyance.
We went down to check on Darkseid, and that maniac, even without his eyes, lunged at us. I used flash step to dodge and then used the Force to rip my lightsaber out of Darkseid's eye, making him growl in pain.
I ignited my second lightsaber and started cutting down Parademons while trying to avoid getting caught by Darkseid, because he looked like he wanted to gut me. Then I thought about whether I could use Life Drain on the Parademons, maybe I could get back to my peak form. So I tried it. I closed my eyes and aimed my hand at the horde of Parademons in front of me.
I was back in that dark void, but this time there were only a few weak red lights before me. From my hand shot countless black tendrils, and before I even realized it, they devoured every red light, and the dark void was quickly illuminated by blue light once again, light that was radiating from me.
When I finally opened my eyes, at least 20 Parademons had dropped dead to the ground, and I felt better than I had the entire time I'd been here. Meanwhile, Lantern was shouting as he fought more Parademons, "He's lost both his eyes and he's STILL fighting?!" Then he added, "So what do we do with him?!" Cyborg responded, "We send him home," and Wonder Woman joined in, "How?"
Cyborg started explaining, "Darkseid was sending data to those metal cubes, they call them activators. They create Gates, passages, you just have to speak their language."
I looked at Cyborg, pretty confused by what he'd just said. Lantern, who clearly didn't understand either, voiced my thoughts: "I didn't understand a word you just said." Cyborg just smirked, pulled out a Boom Tube, I have no idea where he'd been hiding it, and then said he needed to get some altitude, flying into the air.
I went over to Lantern because another idea popped into my head. "Yo, Lantern, imagine a giant Godzilla." Lantern's eyes lit up instantly. "Why do you have such a good imagination, Revan?" I didn't answer, just smirked, and then Lantern began forming a massive Godzilla. I'd say it was a little smaller than Gipsy Danger, but it was still coooool as hell.
The massive green Godzilla opened its mouth and unleashed a huge green beam that roasted hordes of Parademons. I saw portals open and start pulling the Parademons back to Apokolips, most likely thanks to Cyborg. But then I realized something, if I could combine Apokolips steel and beskar steel, wouldn't I basically create one of the most durable suits in the world?
So I used the Force to pull a bunch of Parademons toward me, snapped their necks, then used my lightsaber to cut off their golden armor. I tossed their bodies back through the portal and stashed the armor somewhere safe in a nearby building.
When I returned to the others, I saw the Omega symbol on Darkseid's belt begin to glow, and behind him a portal appeared, slowly but surely starting to pull him in. But Darkseid wasn't about to give up that easily,
he resisted and fought against the force dragging him inside.
Wonder Woman yelled,
"Get him in there!"
Shazam charged at him first, slamming his electricity-covered fists into Darkseid's neck. Darkseid got furious, slammed Shazam into the ground, and then stomped on his body with his knee.
"I'LL CRUSH YOU LIKE A WORM!" he roared, raising his massive fist, ready to finish Shazam off.
I quickly raised both my hands, trying to hold Darkseid's arm in the air, but it was hard,
sweat poured down my entire body as Darkseid's hand slowly descended toward Shazam.
But Wonder Woman threw her Lasso of Truth around Darkseid's arm, trying to stop him, and Flash rushed over to help her, but it was useless. With his other hand, Darkseid grabbed a chunk of a building and hurled it at me.
I had to split my focus between the piece of building flying toward me and keeping Darkseid's hand in place, but I couldn't do both. I barely deflected the chunk of stone, but now Darkseid could move his arm again, and he nearly tore himself free from the Lasso of Truth.
Then I started hearing music.
Who the hell blasts music this loud when there's literally a war for Earth going on??? Some idiot, probably.
And Darkseid began his speech:
"How dare you! I AM DARKSEID!"
But then I heard…
🎵 THERE'S A STARMANNNN WAITING IN THE SKYYYYYY 🎵
And the moment that line played, a figure emerged from the portal behind Darkseid and punched him, sending him staggering back a few steps.
It was Superman. That bastard showed up at the very last second to steal my glory.
Justice for Revan guys.
Superman said,
"Screw you."
And started beating the hell out of Darkseid. Wonder Woman joined him, and together they almost managed to push Darkseid through the portal. Even Shazam joined in, but they couldn't finish the job, and Darkseid knocked them all back.
That bastard was clearly at the limit of his strength, blind in both eyes, and he was STILL destroying us.
What kind of monstrous power was this? I couldn't help but wonder how strong True Form Darkseid must be.
Batman was keeping Darkseid distracted for now, and I looked over at Cyborg, who was struggling to keep the portal open, so I went over to Lantern.
"Make that Godzilla again, we're sending Darkseid back home."
Lantern answered instantly, "Say less."
And in the next moment, a massive Godzilla stood before me. Godzilla opened its mouth and fired a colossal green beam at Darkseid. Darkseid crossed his arms in an X, trying to block the beam, but it was slowly pushing him back toward the portal.
I yelled at Superman, "Throw me at Darkseid with everything you've got!" and Superman asked, "Are you sure?" I nodded. Darkseid was putting up a serious fight, but he was practically already inside the portal. Superman grabbed me, spun me around, and hurled me straight at Darkseid.
I cloaked my entire body in the Force and slammed a punch into Darkseid's face that almost sent him fully through the portal. The only thing visible of him now were his fingers gripping the edge of the portal, holding on so he wouldn't be sucked in completely.
But I wasn't about to show mercy. The moment I struck Darkseid, I raised both my hands and forcibly slammed the portal shut, and because Darkseid still had his fingers sticking out, the portal severed them.
The last thing I heard was Darkseid's roar of rage before the portal closed completely.
Lantern came up to me.
"Good job, Revan."
Batman asked, "And what about the human casualties?"
Cyborg replied, "I can see them. I'll try to open the passage."
Portals appeared over the ocean, and people began falling from them. Lantern was there, catching everyone.
Wait…
Did Cyborg open portals all over the world? Because not everyone has a Lantern to catch them when they're falling from 70 feet.
I'd rather not even ask.
A crowd of people started coming toward us.
"There they are!"
"Our heroes!"
"They saved us!"
Flash ran up to us, saying,
"We should go before they accuse us again," but then he noticed that people weren't yelling at us.
Time skip
I was standing with the others as the president, or whoever it was, declared us superheroes and went on about how grateful they were, yap yap yap yap yap.
I didn't hear any of it.
I just wanted to go to sleep.
I was mentally exhausted.
I was basically half-naked, and people kept taking pictures of my sculpted body, which was uncomfortable… even though it was kind of flattering.
Then Shazam introduced us as the "Super Seven."
What kind of autistic name was that???
Well, anyway, once that ended, I was just planning to go to Gotham and sleep, but the moment I left the stage, Batman tapped me on the shoulder and said,
"You said last time that you also live in Gotham, right? Then we'll go together."
That could only mean one thing, he probably had questions about me knowing the future.
I stretched, and people started taking even more pictures of me, which was really irritating, but I kept my cool and didn't crash out. I answered Batman,
"Why not? I have no problem with that."
Using the Force, I pulled a large chunk of a building toward me and jumped on it, and Batman followed my lead. We flew toward Gotham.
Batman broke the silence.
"So your power is Telekinesis?"
I answered him,
"Well, Telekinesis is just one of many forms in which my ability can manifest. It's pretty complicated to explain."
Batman nodded, then immediately dropped a bomb.
"So you know what will happen in the future? Darkseid will come back?"
"Of course he'll come back. We humiliated him, he holds hatred towards us," I said to Batman.
After that, we spent another five minutes in silence. I could see Gotham. As we approached, Batman used his grappling hook and went his own way, and I went home for my beauty sleep.
