Flashbacks
The moment the Omega Beams were about to hit me, a Force Barrier formed in front of them, but because it was created so quickly, it shattered. Even though I wasn't injured, the explosion knocked me out for a moment. Then I fell into the sea, but Jarvis quickly woke me up by screaming into my ear like a maniac.
I surfaced from the water and, using the Force, swam swiftly to the shore. There, I quickly jumped onto a random piece of building and flew at full speed toward the place where Darkseid and the people I now considered my friends were, but once again, I was interrupted by the system's beep.

And at that moment, a Lightsaber appeared in my hand, glowing with radiant blue light. It looked normal, like my first lightsaber, but when I ignited it…

After a moment, I calmed down and continued flying.
"Wait… what about Nihilous's Life Drain? I can just use it???"
And at that moment, I felt as if my stomach completely emptied, like I hadn't eaten in ages. My concentration shattered, and I started falling toward the ground. The earth approached with every second. The voice I had felt disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
And just before my beautiful face could be destroyed by the ground, I summoned a piece of building back and flew after Darkseid again.
"What was that? Was that what Nihilus felt every second of his existence? Ugh… I shiver just thinking about having to live through that again."
Then the system screen appeared in front of my face again. I sighed, this was starting to get really annoying, and I began to read:
**New Side Quest**
**Description:** Fight With Darkseid for 3 minutes without any help.
**Reward:** Your Old Looks.
**Penalty:** Darkseid will turn you into his slave.

I stared dazedly at the words on the blue screen. I had reluctantly given up my original appearance; I never thought I'd have a chance to get it back. But fighting Darkseid for 3 minutes? That was a death wish. I didn't have Kryptonian durability… well, I like death wishes now. I clicked yes, but a thought ran through my head:
If I look different, I'll no longer be a multi-billionaire and will lose my identity in this world.
But the system answered my question:
{No one will remember your current looks, only you of course.
If you get back your previous looks, everybody will think that you were born with those looks.}
Well, that answered my question.
And now, without interruption, I flew to the battlefield, killing a few Parademons along the way.
Back to the present
A second ago, I had insulted Darkseid right in the face. Darkseid looked at me, ignoring everyone else, and all of his attention was on me alone.
He stared at me with that piercing gaze, and after a moment, he spoke:
"You… dare speak to me like that?" His tone was calm, but every word crushed the courage of lesser beings. "I am Darkseid. I do not grant permission. I take what I want. I crush what defies me."
He leaned slightly forward, his massive frame imposing. "Your insolence will cost you more than life, mortal. I will rend you from existence, and the universe itself will forget your name."
I lifted my head high just to anger him and replied, "I'm waiting. Come and try to rend me from existence. Remember my words, Dark piece of crap. Maybe I'm not strong enough now, but once I'm at full power, maybe you'll give me some troubles."
Lantern, who was sitting next to me, asked, "But would you lose?"
"NAH, I'd win."

Darkseid, now outraged, raised both hands into the air, his eyes glowing red, then slammed them down. It was a massive explosion, roads were destroyed, buildings too.
I protected myself, and Lantern did as well, hoping the others survived. When the dust cleared, I saw Darkseid had fired his Omega Beams at Superman and Flash. I looked at Lantern next to me and said, "Go fight the Parademons. Right now, my chances of beating Darkseid are the highest."
(Btw, his chances of winning are 3%)

Lantern nodded to show he understood and flew toward the others. I jumped off the building, slowing my fall with the Force. Darkseid looked at me, not letting me make the first move, and fired his Omega Beams at me.
I raised my hand, and the two forces clashed. The Omega Beams tried to pierce my barrier but couldn't. Darkseid's eyes glowed even more, and my barrier began to crack.
My hand trembled under the weight of Darkseid's Omega Beams.
"Khkkkkkkkk… Damn it… I can't hold this barrier anymore!"
The barrier cracked further, and I decided to gamble again, I would try Nihilus's Life Drain on Darkseid.
With one hand, I held the barrier, and with the other, I reached toward Darkseid, closing my eyes and focusing on what I wanted to happen. Even with my eyes closed, I somehow… saw.
It was a dark world. I couldn't see buildings or the sky. It was just darkness, like an abyss but different. Here, I felt calm, as if I belonged here. Then I saw IT.
Before me was a massive red light illuminating this dark world, but I felt no goodness from it, only pure darkness and destruction. I didn't know how or why, but I didn't want to approach that red light. Then it occurred to me, maybe this was Darkseid. Darkness, destruction, Darkseid… it all fit too well. But I didn't dwell on it and looked down at where I thought my body would be… but it wasn't there.
Instead, I was met with blue light, shining brighter and brighter. I looked at my hands, but they were just blue light. The light grew stronger, consuming the dark world. It took a moment, but eventually, the whole place was filled with bright blue light. It felt like more and more blue light was emanating from my body. All the blue light surrounded the red. I stretched out my hand,.or at least I thought I did, and then I saw black tendrils emerging from my hand, they were completely black as if kissed by Nyx herself.
The tendrils rapidly reached the red light, and the moment they touched it, the entire world shattered. I opened my eyes, feeling as if I were full of energy, like I was in my peak form.
Meanwhile, Darkseid was in worse shape than I was. When I opened my eyes, his Omega Beams were gone as if they had never existed, and he looked like a thousand Supermans had just gang-banged him.
And he was… sweating????
Can Darkseid even sweat????
Darkseid now looked at me with even greater hatred and spat out:
"You… insect… what have you done to me?"
I smirked arrogantly at him.
"Well… why should I tell you? Maybe if you kneel and beg me for mercy, maybe then I'll tell you what I did."
Darkseid's eyes blazed with anger as he prepared to fire his Omega Beams at me, but I didn't let this opportunity slip. I used Flashstep and appeared right next to him, enveloped my body in the Force, and sent a punch straight to Darkseid's face. I even used the Force to add weight to the blow. The moment my punch hit, Darkseid… knelt on one knee????
Bro, what???
Red glowing liquid poured from his mouth,
it was probably Darkseid's blood.
What if I spammed Life Drain? If one Life Drain left Darkseid like this, what if I spammed it? That would be way too OP. It probably has a cooldown, limit, or drawback.
Then it hit me, an intense headache. I couldn't even move properly. I frickin' jinxed myself! Maybe I drained too much life force. I need to be more careful next time.
While I was distracted, Darkseid completely recovered from the Life Drain and didn't look happy. His hand began glowing red. I instinctively moved to dodge a strike that could've taken me out permanently, but Darkseid didn't relent and slammed his fist into the ground.
The earth shattered, throwing me into the air. Darkseid fired his Omega Beams at me. I activated my Force Barrier, but then he did something I didn't expect, rather than trying to overpower me in the battle between the Omega Beams and my Force Barrier, Darkseid leapt into the air, both hands glowing red, and slammed into the spherical Force Barrier around me. The Force Barrier shattered, and I hit the ground hard.
I felt like my spine was broken. Blood poured from my mouth. My already damaged suit was now soaked in my own blood. My vision was blurry, but I couldn't give up. I raised my hand and created a Force Barrier in front of me, which his Omega Beams immediately struck. Slowly, I stood and said Captain America's line, hoping it would give me strength:
"I can do this all day, Dark piece of crap."
Darkseid didn't even respond, he just intensified his Omega Beams. At that moment, the system beeped, but I didn't even check the message because I knew I had completed my quest.
Darkseid, however, clearly still held hatred for me. Seeing that his beams weren't doing much, his hand began glowing red again. Even seeing it, I could do nothing. I was still sore from the first hit.
Then Darkseid struck, shattering the barrier like it had never existed. His blow hit my abdomen, sending me flying until I hit the ground. Ahead of me was the entire team, except Batman and Superman. I saw Lantern looking at me with concern and said:
"Hey bro, you okay?"
Slowly, with Flash's help, I stood.
"Yeah… I think so."
From my suit, only my mask and pants remained. My chest armor was completely destroyed, and I was 99.9999999999% sure I had internal bleeding.
"What took you so long, idiots?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly from pain.
Lantern scratched his head. I sighed.
"Never mind. We have to stop Darkseid."
Everyone nodded, and we headed toward Darkseid, who was destroying Metropolis with his Omega Beams.

So if Aaron drains too much he's gonna be in his peak form for a while but then the backlash is gonna hit him hard
The backlash was so hard because Aaron drained too much from a much more powerful being than himself, if he drains people on his level there will be no drawbacks
