A New Morning.
He turned on the TV…And there it was—exactly the kind of news he knew would happen.
Female reporter:"There's been a massive villain uprising. A new organization calling themselves The Thumb has attacked civilians and caused chaos across Shizuoka and neighboring prefectures."
A few mugshots flashed on screen.
Male reporter:"If any citizens spot them—run. Call the police or a nearby Pro Hero immediately."
He turned the TV off with a sigh and shook his head.
He never expected them to blame him for hurting civilians.Truth is, he had already contacted them earlier that morning—just to check in.
Clone:"Yeah, sure… Some of us did cause a little stir. But we didn't hurt anyone! Just… chased them off, that's all."
Ryojin:"And by 'chase off,' you mean what exactly?"
Clone:"…Firing shots in the air."
…Great. Fucking brilliant.
Honestly though—The clones he created were a lot like him… but not entirely. Some things were just… off.
Ryojin:"Any casualties or injuries on our side?"
Clone:"Two dead… Pretty gruesome. One got mauled by a villain—guts everywhere. The other? Crushed into a meatball by some nasty Quirk.Injuries—around a dozen. One critical. The rest? Superficial."
He looked down at the HUD of his Quirk menu.
[Clone Deceased: 2 – Corpse Discarded][Note: No DNA matches found in any global record]
He exhaled in relief.
At least… if anyone tested the blood, or ran forensics on those bodies—They wouldn't find him.
No name.No shadow.No trace.
And then, a new line popped up on his screen—One that made him smirk.
[Clone +13]
Last night had been wilder than expected.
He glanced at the clock.
Ryojin:"06:30."
The ticking of the second hand filled the room…And with it, his thoughts grew clearer.
Time to move
A New Day Begins.
This time, he didn't bring the motorcycle to pick anyone up.
Ryojin:"I mean, come on. You really think three people could squeeze onto one bike? Our asses wouldn't even fit."
He arrived in front of Mina's house. She opened the door and froze for a second—clearly surprised to see him waiting. But when that bright, sunshine-like smile lit up her face, something warm bloomed in his chest.
Ryojin:"...Wait, what?""Am I really falling this easily?"
After a brief chat, they headed toward Momo's place. She wasn't surprised—he had messaged her earlier to let her know Mina would be joining. So, the three of them casually started walking to school together.
Was it awkward?
Not at all.
He thought there might be tension, maybe even a little passive-aggressive shade being thrown around. But nope—They got along strangely well, like seasoned musicians playing in harmony.
Then, out of nowhere, both girls reached for his hands.
Mina on one side.Momo on the other.
The guys walking by stopped dead in their tracks—mouths agape.
Ryojin:"What can I say? Handsome privilege."
He flashed a smug grin at them, radiating chill, smug confidence.
Outside Class A-1
He already knew the moment he opened that door—A storm of questions would hit him right in the face.
And walking in normally?Nah, too boring.
So he let Mina and Momo go in first. Then waited quietly by the wall… until Aizawa showed up.Only then did he follow the teacher inside—perfect timing.
Inside Class A-1
Tooru:"Did you guys see the news over the weekend!?"
Ojiro:"Yeah, I saw it."
Tooru:"It was so cool that we made it on TV—even if it was just for a few seconds!"
Her voice dropped a bit.
Tooru:"But I bet no one even noticed me… Even though I was in the front row."
Ojiro:"Well, you're invisible, Tooru… It's kinda hard to stand out."
He gave her a sympathetic smile. She was invisible most of the time—only gloves and boots floating in midair as a clue to her presence. But really… why was she always completely naked?
Kaminari:"Every news channel's talking about us! We're like celebrities now!"
Kirishima:"Hell yeah, it's insane!"
Jirou:"Can you blame them? A top hero school getting attacked like that..."
She let out a long sigh.
Sero:"But let's be real… If Kazuma hadn't been there, we wouldn't have survived that monster. That was the peak moment."
Silence.
Bakugo—silent.Midoriya—eyes full of quiet sorrow.Todoroki—expressionless as ever, like a statue.
Meanwhile, the two girls who had walked in with Ryojin…They shared a secret smile, recalling what he said earlier.
Ryojin:"You two go in ahead. I've got a surprise… a special little 'egg' for them."
They giggled softly, whispering and wondering what exactly a "special egg" meant.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Aizawa entered, expression unreadable as always. His voice was calm, but commanding.
Aizawa:"Alright. Quiet down. Class is starting."
The chatter stopped instantly.
But then—
Iida raised his hand.
Tenya:"Sensei… Do you have any updates on Kazuma?"
One question. But it made the whole room freeze.
All eyes turned forward.Hearts pounding.
...Aizawa didn't answer. He simply turned toward the door.Raised his hand.
SNAP.
With a sharp click, the door swung open—And in walked a man wearing a fedora, spinning into the room with a dramatic flair
Ryojin dance ended with a dramatic stomp of his foot.
He turned to face Class A-1, a wide grin stretching across his face.
Ryojin:"Miss me, my dear crew? I'm back, baby!!!"
His voice echoed through the classroom—booming, unapologetic.
In the next instant, the room exploded with cheers.
"Kazuma!!" / "Butterfly!!" / "Boss!!!"
A barrage of nicknames flew from every direction.Chairs nearly toppled as his classmates rushed in to tackle him with hugs and backslaps.
Ryojin:"Whoa, whoa—calm down! C'mon, hugging dudes ain't exactly thrilling, you know!"
He laughed, clearly enjoying the moment. His trademark smirk, the cocky glint in his eye—none of that had changed. And everyone loved that about him.
Eventually, once the chaos settled, Aizawa used his Quirk to command silence. The room went still instantly, as if someone had flipped a switch.
Ryojin also returned to his seat…But not by walking—he moonwalked his way backward, slowly, deliberately, soaking in every second of attention.
Aizawa watched him in silence.A rare smirk played on the teacher's lips.
Aizawa (thought):"At least that idiot hasn't changed… If he ever did, this class would lose its spark."
Once calm returned, Aizawa didn't waste time.
Aizawa:"The Sports Festival... will be starting soon."
Silence. It hit the room like a brick through glass.
"Whaaaaat!?""Are you serious!?""This means hardcore training again!"
Ryojin glanced around, looking genuinely confused.
Ryojin:"Why are they freaking out over this…?"
Sure enough, within ten minutes, the classroom turned into a mini-mob.Voices rose, concerns overlapping—some students arguing that the festival should be canceled, citing safety concerns after the recent villain attack.
"We're not ready!""We haven't even recovered yet!""The school just got raided, for crying out loud!"
But Aizawa stayed calm.He didn't flinch.Didn't interrupt.Just stared them down until the voices died.
And then, with chilling clarity:
Aizawa:"The Sports Festival… will not be canceled."
Dead silence. His gaze swept across the room like a silent command.
Aizawa:"This isn't just a school event. It's a battleground—an opportunity. Pro agencies across Japan will be watching. This is where they find new talent. This is your one chance to be seen."
The mood shifted. No words needed. But eyes told the story: doubt turned into determination.Hesitation, into focus.
Even Ryojin—leaning back in his chair, tossing a pencil in the air—smiled lazily.
Ryojin (thought):"A real stage to show off, huh? Guess I better bring the heat."
Aizawa:"I've spoken with the principal. This year, the security will be five times stronger—pro heroes, police officers, and elite guards will be stationed throughout the venue."
Some students let out relieved sighs.
But Ryojin? He scoffed softly, a playful sneer tugging at his lips.
Ryojin (thought):"Five times, huh… Still won't be enough, not if the next enemy is anything like last time."
Aizawa took a step back, exhaustion in his eyes—but also a flicker of hope.
Aizawa:"The UA Sports Festival will be held in about two weeks. I don't care if you're ready. Just be ready. This could be your ticket… to the pro world."
With that, he turned and walked out, as if it was just another ordinary announcement.
Click. The door slid shut behind him.
The class fell into a brief, thoughtful silence.
Then—thud, thud, thud—firm footsteps approached from the hall.
"Everyone, please take your seats."
Cementoss entered, ready to begin the lesson like always.
Ryojin propped his foot up on the desk, gazing out the window. The breeze slipped through, brushing his hair with a gentle whisper.
Ryojin (thought):"Two weeks, huh… That's just enough time for some real fun."
He muttered it to himself, too quiet for anyone to hear. But the glint in his eyes said it all—scheming, playful, dangerously clever
Lunchtime.
Ryojin walked out of the classroom, his usual group trailing behind him.But this time... it was different.
Everyone in Class 1-A was following him.
Not just the usual nine—this time, it was twenty people walking behind him like a perfectly synchronized parade.
He led the group like a mafia boss, every footstep echoing the aura of command. And with the scar over his left eye from the incident a few days ago…It was like a badge that screamed: "He's not here to play."
Students from other classes stared, whispering among themselves:
"Who is that guy?"
Even Bakugo was walking beside him now—as if Ryojin had suddenly become the room's superstar. But honestly, he wasn't about to let any sweaty dudes get too close.
Most of the guys in the room didn't even bother with lotion or cologne.Totally different from him, the one guy who actually smelled decent. There was definitely something wrong here. Why was he the only one who cared about hygiene?
By the time he sat down, his order had arrived.Basil stir-fry with crispy fried egg—The smell wafted through the air like a lunchtime siren's call.
They sat at two connected tables.Mina on one side, Momo on the other.Perfect.
"Ahhh… this is the life,"Ryojin thought.
Mineta, sitting across from him, bounced between staring at the girls and Ryojin's smug face. Then he finally burst out:
Mineta: "Boss! How the heck are you pulling this off—two girls at once!?"
Without missing a beat, Ryojin flashed a grin and leaned in.
Ryojin: "Listen, kid—Next time you go out with me, I'll hook you up with the best girls."
He casually pulled out his phone and scrolled through a contact list full of cute girls' names.
WHACK.
Out of nowhere, Momo leaned over and gently punched him in the head.
Momo: "Didn't think my boyfriend would be this kind of guy."
Her voice was soft, but her eyes were scary.
Mina: "Right!? I can't believe this guy."She nodded, crossing her arms in mock outrage.
Ryojin: "C'mon, babe—those are from waaay before I met you! I haven't contacted any of them in ages!"
He laughed nervously, rubbing his head. One angry girlfriend was terrifying enough…Two?Literal nightmare.
Laughter erupted around the table again. The whole group lit up with color and life, turning the cafeteria into their own little world.
And then, just as things started to settle—Someone from Class 1-B walked up.
Yep.Monoma.
Monoma: "Yo... How're you doing, Kazuma?"
His tone was unexpectedly genuine.
Ryojin: "Living the dream, man.Aside from the occasional spicy dump, I'm great. You ever take one so hot it burns your soul?"
He said it with a straight face—the exact kind of trolling that made people burst into uncontrollable laughter.Even Monoma shook his head, chuckling.
Monoma: "Well… glad to see you're okay.I was seriously worried when I heard you were the only one who got hurt."
Ryojin struck a dramatic pose, brushing his hair back like a heartthrob.
Ryojin: "What can I say? This handsome face attracts all the villains."
Monoma laughed again, this time a little louder, before nodding and turning to leave.
Monoma: "Alright, I'm heading out. See you around, Kazuma-kun."
Ryojin: "Yeah, catch you later."
He smiled and turned back to his group.
A little chaos.A little charm.A whole lot of trouble—
But that was Ryojin
After School
As soon as the school bell rang, signaling the end of the day, Aizawa-sensei zipped up his sleeping bag once again and laid his head down on the desk.
At this point, Ryojin couldn't help but wonder...Does Aizawa even go home, or does he just live in the classroom?
After packing her things, Uraraka was the first to reach the door. But when she slid it open...
They were met with a wall of students lining the hallway outside Class 1-A—all around the same age, all staring in at them like they were some kind of exhibit.
For a few moments, no one moved. They just stood there, confused. The sheer number of students peering in was overwhelming.
Uraraka, being the closest to the door, was the first to speak.
Uraraka: "Uh… what's going on? Why are you all here?"
Iida: "Is there something you need from our class?"
Mineta: "Yo, why are you blocking the way!?"
Then came Bakugo, cutting through the tension with his signature attitude.
Bakugo: "They're scoping out the competition, dumbasses. We're the class that survived the villain attack. They wanna see what real pros look like with their own eyes.Well, take a good look—this is your future. Now scram, you extras!"
He finished with a wicked grin just as Ryojin stepped forward—sunglasses on, walking like a celebrity.
Ryojin: "Whoa, whoa, chill out, everyone.I know I'm handsome, but I didn't expect y'all to line up at the door for me."
He flashed an annoying (but charming) smile at the crowd.
Iida: "Please, Bakugo, stop referring to other students as 'extras!'"He said this while robotically moving his arms again.
Ryojin:Why the hell does he always move his arms like that?
Suddenly, a voice rose from within the crowd.
A messy-haired boy with purple hair began pushing his way forward.
??? "So this is Class 1-A, huh?I heard you were impressive…But honestly? You just sound arrogant."
The purple-haired boy stepped fully into view now, revealing a slim, tired-looking student with dark circles under his eyes.
Eyes that looked eerily familiar.
??? "I'm here to declare war.I'm—"
Ryojin: "YO, GUYS.Aizawa's got a son!"
The sudden outburst cut the purple-haired boy off instantly.
The entire class turned toward him, wide-eyed.
"Wait… Aizawa has a kid!?"
Ryojin: "Hey hey, are you really Aizawa's kid?You guys look exactly alike!"
Purple-haired boy: "I'm not—"
Ryojin: "Dude, look at those bags under your eyes.Did you stay up all night watching porn or something?"
He said it with such a playful tone that the purple-haired boy clenched his fists in rage, clearly ready to activate his Quirk—
WHAM!
Before he could do anything, Ryojin foot landed squarely in his stomach, sending him flying back into the crowd.
Gasps filled the room.
Everyone in Class 1-A looked shocked.
Kaminari: "Dude… That was way too much."
Even Bakugo stared at Ryojin like,
"This guy's crazy."
Ryojin: "C'mon, he was about to use his Quirk. That was self-defense."
He said it with a sly, almost dangerous grin.
The truth was…He'd gotten a "Social Link alert" from Momo right before it happened.A notification that told him the purple-haired boy was about to strike.
Ryojin (thinking):Love ya, Mo-chan ❤️
Ryojin: "You guys are weak as hell, you know that?Came here to spy on us?Gather intel?Declare war?"
He stepped closer, glaring down at the students who now stood frozen in place.
Ryojin: "Too bad.I'm the violent type."
Then he leaned in slightly, voice low and menacing.
Ryojin: "Wanna use your Quirk on me?Then eat a kick to the gut. Simple."
With that, he gave them a wicked smirk, sharp enough to slice through silence.
The Confrontation Continues...
As everyone began to back away in stunned silence, a boy from Class 1-B stepped forward through the retreating crowd.
The moment he approached, he grabbed Ryojin by the collar, yanking him aggressively.
???: "Hey, you! I'm from Class 1-B—right next door!We heard you fought off villains, so I came to see if it was true! But turns out you're just some punk thug, huh?!"
Ryojin stared at him coldly. Then, without warning—BAM!He launched a powerful kick that knocked the boy down in an instant.
Ryojin: "You think you're tough, grabbing me like that?"
He said while pressing his foot down on the boy's face, sending shockwaves through the entire class.
Ryojin: "Hell yeah, I'm a thug.Next time, pick your targets better, you little shit."
His voice was sharp, dangerous.
Suddenly—
Aizawa: "Stop right there, Kazuma!Or you'll be suspended!"
Ryojin turned toward him with a smug grin and shrugged.
Ryojin: "Oops.Sorry 'bout that.My foot slipped."
He said it with the cocky tone of someone who absolutely did not regret anything.
Aizawa: "That's not exactly a satisfying explanation."
He sighed.
Aizawa: "The rest of you, go home."
With that, the classroom finally fell into silence again.
Walking Home
After everything settled down, only a few students stayed behind—Me, Mina, Momo, Mineta, Kaminari, Shoji, Sero, Jiro, Toru, Sato, and Koda.
We walked home together, still trying to process everything.
Kaminari: "Yo, bro…Why'd you go that hard on him?"
Ryojin: "Alright, alright.I admit, maybe I overdid it.But the guy was about to use his Quirk on me.I was just defending myself,"He said while yawning.
Momo: "How did you know he was going to use it?"
Ryojin:shrugs"Body language."
Then he grew serious for a moment.
Ryojin: "Besides...I was still pissed off from earlier. That dude tried to start some dumb war and called us out like we were his enemies. You think I'd let someone like that come for my crew? Not happening. No one here is leaving on my watch. No one's replacing anyone."
His words were intense, heartfelt. The mood softened. We all knew he meant it.
Mineta & Kaminari: "Dude, you're so badass!"They cheered in unison.
Ryojin: "Alright, alright.Tomorrow I'll take you guys out—just the boys."
The guys in the group lit up in excitement.
Ryojin (grinning): "Girls not invited."
Suddenly, pinch! Both Momo and Mina grabbed his cheeks—hard.
Momo (dangerously calm): "I know exactly what you're thinking…You're going to chase girls, aren't you?"
Mina (glaring): "You're such a flirt."
Ryojin (nervous laughter): "W-wait!I swear I was just gonna take them to shoot pool or something—nothing shady!"
He winced in pain from their double pinch.
Deep inside, he had a feeling…
If I die today, it'll be by the hands of these two.
Meanwhile, the other two girls walking behind them looked on—Both feeling a twinge of envy toward Mina and Momo, who clearly had Ryojin attention.Still, they said nothing.
The air around them was thick with jealousy...and a whole lot of awkward, chaotic fun.
