Yvonne Sutton informed Aiden Grant last night in advance that she would join Connor Grant the next morning to bring the child back to the estate.
Before bed, Aiden Grant shared this news with Lily Shaw, and to his surprise, his wife showed no emotional reaction upon hearing it.
"Honey, why didn't you react at all to this news?" Eldest Young Master Grant asked softly beside the person in his arms, prepared for Lily Shaw's usual excited scream.
"I already knew about it." Lily Shaw replied calmly.
During Aiden Grant's absence from Aethel, there was a time when she felt extremely down and drank alone in her room.
Yvonne Sutton unexpectedly came to visit her and, upon discovering Lily drinking alone, joined her.
Eventually, Yvonne Sutton got drunk, hugged her and cried loudly, telling her how she had lived in the past two years amidst tears.
