[You have killed Lv2 Sahuagin Elite]

Felix flicked his sword to wipe the Sahuagin's blood that had coated the blade. He took a moment to take in the sight of the cavern one last time, taking in the view of tens of Sahuagin mobs he'd decimated, which made him wonder how many attributes he'd gained just from the battle.
There were also the loots, consisting of the Sahuagin scale plates, the Sahuagin Hearthstone, the Sahuagin blood, Fin-blades, and venom glands.
These were all materials used in craft, from the light, flexible armors made from their scale plates, to a potent elixir known as the Berserker's Draught made from the Hearthstone, the expensive Sahuagin ink from their gelatinous blood, blades and throwing knives made from their Fin-blades that rivaled most metal, and their venom glands for poison.
These were all Felix's loot that could fetch him a small fortune to start off as a dependable Sage in Vastoria. The thought of it alone brought a genuine smile to his face, which turned to a painful wince as the explosive energy of the 300+ attributes ravaged his insides, seemingly trying to be set free.
He was running out of time and needed to find the boss as soon as possible to let off some steam.
He looked at the one too many tunnels connecting out of the cavern, decisively looking to pick a path that would likely lead to the boss room and not some dead end. When a soul-piercing shriek suddenly reverberated across the cave that shook the very essence of the dungeon.
[Ding! You have been afflicted with fear!]
Felix suddenly felt his heart begin to race involuntarily and his arms and legs started shaking uncontrollably in fear.
That was definitely the boss's enraged roar which enabled Felix to pinpoint the right path that'd lead him to it. But that also meant Aaron and the rest of the team were already exchanging blows with it, and for a moment Felix thought of just sitting it out or hiding back in one of the tunnels till the battle was over.
Tsk. Felix clicked his tongue in annoyance as his grip tightened around the hilt of his sword. He knew he was under the effects of the Fear debuff and would never think of ever running away from a battle.
This also meant even with the [OVERDEATH] skill that got his attributes at peak Level 3, the boss was definitely stronger. But Felix didn't care about that and was only enraged at the boss's skill for messing with his mind.
Shaking the effects of the fear debuff away, Felix dashed towards the tunnel leading to the boss chamber, when the hairs at the back of his neck suddenly stood on end and he stepped to the side just in time for the dagger aimed at his neck to flash by and embed itself on the far end of the cavern walls.
He frowned and quickly spun around to face the intruder, when his eyes widened in shock at an army of Sahuagin standing eerily still with their pitch-black eyes locked onto him, led by two Sahuagin Elites. The same ones Felix had just cut down and bashed their heads in.
But something was different with them this time around. Their wounds weren't healed or regenerated; instead, they had expressions that showed they felt nothing but hate.
"Un—Undead?" Felix mused in surprise. His heart was starting to palpitate again—but this time for a different reason. And his mouth began to twitch. Only one thought remained in his mind as he stared at the undead horde that charged at him with their weapons or claws.
"Does this mean… double attributes?" The corners of his lips stretched into a cold smirk. "Fine… the boss can wait."
This was a perfect opportunity to test out his skill set and warm up before going to join the boss fight. Felix wasn't worried Aaron and the team would slay the boss before he got there because it was clearly a peak Lv3 or Lv4 mob boss whilst the S-Ranks were just crashing into Lv2. So it should be a long battle till he got there to wipe its ass across the floor and show it who's the real boss—hehe.
The undead army of Sahuagins quickly got to Felix with weapons ready to strike. There wasn't much of a plan for them now that they were mindless beasts, other than to gang up on Felix and drown him in a sea of frenzy attacks—not that they did anything different when they still had a bit of sanity.
But Felix neither raised his sword nor ran for it. After reading the descriptions of his new skill set, he dropped his sword into the murky pond and spread his arms wide apart with a cynical grin plastered on his face as the horde jumped him.
"Come to mummy—arrgghh~"

The undead army climbed over themselves to get a hit on Felix who was now buried deep within the mountain of corpses, and for a moment it felt like Felix had made a dumb move and wouldn't be making it out even with the [Witcher's Curse] active, when the notifications began flooding in.

Aside from the Passive [Witcher's Curse] which reflected 25% of the Undead Sahuagins' damage, Felix also activated the active [Witcher's Curse] and began distributing it amongst the mobs which chipped away 25% of their vitality in 5 seconds and soon enough they began dropping dead like broken dolls without him having to lift a finger.
As for how he was surviving beneath the frenzy of attacks: Life Surge. The Lv2 Active/Passive skill was active which not only enabled him to siphon the vitality of the mobs from their injuries, but to passively absorb a steady stream of their vitality as the [Life Surge] skill nevertheless still recognized the undead Sahuagin as 'fallen enemies', siphoning their life force nonstop to replenish his till they dropped dead.
This was a glitch made possible by the [Overdeath] skill that negated all class system restrictions and therefore made Felix a walking mine for all undead-type mobs.
Felix couldn't help but snicker below the horde as the thought of the mob boss being classified as undead due to its necrotic ability crossed his mind. Hehe.
