Felix swiftly pulled out the sword from the last Sahuagin, his expression unwavering. The pond was now dyed a foul red with blood, as bodies floated all over the surface like waste.
He calmly looked up at the two elites who stood at their high positions, seething with rage and disgust.
[Lv2 Sahuagin Elite]
One mightily leapt off the rock and landed in the water, swiftly arming itself with the four machetes sheathed on its back, then madly charged at Felix.
Felix had just positioned his sword with the terrifying aura of the [Blade Aura] skill to counter the incoming Sahuagin Elite, when the hairs at the back of his neck suddenly stood on end.
His danger sense alarms were blaring, which was all too familiar for Felix as his spar with Jessica flashed through his mind.
He involuntarily braced himself for the incoming Sahuagin Elite, his grip tightening around the hilt of his sword as he adjusted his footing beneath the pond for maximum flexibility, when it suddenly clicked on him that though there was a Sahuagin Elite charging at him, it was neither fast nor did it embody any terrifying aura that screamed danger to him.
His eyes widened in shock at that moment as he shifted his gaze from the incoming Sahuagin Elite to the other one, who he'd overlooked because they chose not to make a move yet—or so he thought. Because the rock it had been standing on was now devoid of any Sahuagin.
"Shit!"
Ignoring the Sahuagin Elite now a few steps from him, Felix spun around, drawing his sword in a wide arc and missing the stealthy Sahuagin Elite's throat by mere inches as it swiftly backtracked, retrieving its dagger previously aimed for Felix's spine.
But the other Sahuagin Elite was already onto him from behind, driving its four machetes down at him like a butcher with a maniacal grin.
Felix knew he wouldn't be fast enough to dodge nor parry the incoming attack, and making the wrong move would leave him exposed to the stealthy Sahuagin Elite. But that didn't mean he was helpless at the moment.
He ran different scenarios in his head within the span of milliseconds on how the battle might turn out if he made certain moves, and though none guaranteed a ninety percent success rate and could go both ways, he chose to follow through with the best plan.
With the momentum of his sword which he'd drawn in a wide arc to intercept the stealthy Sahuagin Elite, he let go of the hilt of the sword and let it fly out of his grip, but then caught it using the [Telekinesis] skill to change its course and pivot it to the Sahuagin Elite's behind, spinning wildly towards his open back.
Then Felix took a step forward and charged at the stealthy Sahuagin Elite before him, unarmed. The stealthy Sahuagin Elite, thinking it was Felix's last ditch effort as he'd been cornered, but a stupid one at that for abandoning his weapon, thought it made no difference as he'd die this moment anyways—or not. This intruder has slain its brethren and therefore an easy death would be too merciful. He was going to make this land dweller beg for death as he carved out its flesh and fed it to the sharks, then offer their body to the High Shaman as a bonus for the ritual.
Just thinking about it alone excited the Sahuagin Elite as it cackled maniacally, watching the intruder charging at him. He didn't bother making a move as his brother was already a moment away from incapacitating their arms and legs in one swift motion.
The Sahuagin Elite grinned even wider, revealing the menacing rows of razor-sharp teeth in its mouth as it watched Felix raise a hand like he wanted to grab it, and spread his arms wide apart knowing Felix wouldn't be getting the chance. But then it was stunned when it saw the intruder—the supposedly prey—suddenly grin and mouth something just before the temperature dropped.
"…My pleasure…"

Everything leading up to this moment had occurred in a few seconds. From the interception of the stealthy Sahuagin Elite's attack to this moment.
Felix knew the sudden boost of power from the [Overdeath] skill might throw him off balance, which was why he'd already positioned his open palm aiming for the Sahuagin Elite's head for his next attack. But he still very much underestimated it.
In an instant, Felix was before the Sahuagin Elite, his palm tightly wrapped around its face and without stopping, he pushed the Sahuagin's Elite head backward which threw it off balance, and slammed the head into the pond and buried it beneath the ground in a deep crater.
Whilst the other Sahuagin Elite watched as Felix turned into an after-image as his machetes cut through the wind and embedded themselves in the floor. But before it could even recover from the sudden turn of events, Felix's sword embedded itself deep within its spine from behind that left it incapacitated as it dropped to the floor like a broken doll. Its eyes were wide in confusion and terror.

Felix felt his whole body acting up as they tore and repaired themselves continuously from the inside out. It wasn't like before when he used the [Overdeath] skill to subdue Jessica. The power was so much now and was building up at an accelerated pace that his body might not be able to keep up soon.
Deactivating now would only render him powerless with the risk of him passing out. So he needed to find somewhere or something to channel it to, and quickly.
Felix stood up from the surrounding pond that had been dyed even red from the fresh blood of the Sahuagin Elite and its brain matters.
The next moment he was standing before the other Sahuagin Elite who was overwhelmed with fear as he hadn't even seen Felix take a step before appearing before him.
Felix coldly grabbed his sword from the Sahuagin Elite's spine and pulled it out which caused the Sahuagin to cry out in pain.
"You—you're a monster!" The Sahuagin Elite said with a fierce look. Which surprised Felix that it could speak the Vastorian human language.
"Yeah…" Felix coldly said as he raised his sword to finish off the Sahuagin. But before he did, the Sahuagin laughed in amusement as he looked Felix in the eyes and mumbled, "Hail the Witch Master!"
