Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

"What are you looking at, you Mutt? Don't get any crazy Ideas now because I can end you if you try anything." One of the wolves that Ulva was left with spoke. "Let's go, now!" He barked before leading the way. Ulva followed and the other wolf followed them behind. The third wolf took another direction and left them.

They took a path that led them to the back of the huge building. From there they followed a narrow passage and it was done on Ulva and Hannah where they were taken to.

'What do you think they are going to do to us? Where did our mate go? Do you think he is going to reject us? But why hasn't he rejected us earlier?' Ulva threw the questions at Hannah.

Hannah on the other hand had no answer to any of Ulva's questions. As of that moment, she was also confused but too tired to think much of it. But there were some things she was sure of and had concluded on them.

'I cannot endure another torture. That can't be all we get in our lives. Just a few hours ago, we got our freedom, for the first time in a long time. I cannot endure another torture. I'd rather die a free person.' Hannah said to her wolf. 'And as for our mate, I don't understand him either. At first, for a moment, I felt some sort of acceptance but within seconds it was all gone and he turned against us. I don't know what will happen when we next meet. That is if we are going to see him again. Maybe then he would finally officially reject us.' She added with a worried tone. She could also sense Ulva's sadness.

'I thought we were going to be finally free and happy. But it's not looking that way.' Ulva stated, looking at the direction they were lead towards. It was clearly a prison. 'What if our mate is worse than Alpha Jared?' She reasoned. Because physically, the big black wolf looked more dangerous than Alpha Jared's wolf. He was also a lot bigger and scarier.

'We just have to wait to find out. If that is the case, we have to look for a way out.' Hannah said to Ulva.

They finally walked into the prison section. They were led into a room, where the two wolves shifted to their human form and grabbed some clothes to put on. They also commanded Ulva and Tala to shift into their human forms.

They did as they were told. After that, one of the warriors threw their bag at them. Hannah quickly grabbed a dress and put it on before getting Zoe hers. She dressed her as well and gave her her teddy to calm her down. The little girl was shaky and obviously scared of the situation they found themselves in.

After they were fully clothed, they were directed to a cell. As they walked by to get to the cell, they passed by other cells which were occupied. Those in them might be rogues like them or with a mix of those that have angered the king of the unknown pack.

They all looked weak and there was clearly hunger in their features. It is clear that they were not being fed.

Hannah and her daughter were taken to the far end of the floor. There was a cell that wasn't occupied and they were pushed in. The warriors then locked them inside and walked away.

Due to the weakness in Hannah's body, she collapsed after she was pushed. Her wounds were still open and hurt. Although, the bleeding had stopped eventually. Zoe rushed to her mother's side and laid bedside her. The two warriors didn't glance at them for once after they had locked them up. They just walked away.

'Ulva, can you heal us?' Hannah managed and connected with her wolf weakly.

'I can't. I feel so weak right now. I need some time.' Ulva replied with the same level of weakness if not more.

Understanding what they have been through, Hannah gave Ulva time. She knew her wood was really weak. After what they went through with Alpha Jared and the long journey Ulva had to endure.

Hannah looked at Zoe. She saw the little girl was already asleep, holding her teddy very tight. She slowly got up and picked Zoe up. She walked to the thin bed that she saw in the cell and laid Zoe down. While she lay on the floor next to her because the bed was too small for the both of them. She began to wonder what would become of their life from that moment? She had so many questions that she didn't know where to get the answers from.

Hannah laid there thinking of her life. The moon goddess must really dislike her to make her life the way it is. From escaping from one wicked Alpha to another faith she doesn't know what would come of them. She felt they would probably starve to death. Since she noticed how the other prisoners looked starved.

'Ulva, I am so so sorry. I really hope you can forgive me.' Hannah connected with her wolf.

'What are you sorry for?' Ulva asked. She was confused at that moment. She could feel the saddens of Hannah but she wasn't sure why Hannah was apologising to her.

'For getting stuck with a pathetic person like me.' Hannah said and sniffed her tears backwards. 'You are stuck with a person that nobody wants. In fact, everybody hates me, including my own father.' She added.

Ulva rolled her eyes. She made sure Hannah felt it. 'Just shut up already.' She said to her. 'I am glad to be your wolf and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.' Ulva said. 'You need to go to sleep now. Maybe when we get some rest, we can have some energy and I could heal you then. And also prepare incase they are planning to torture us. We need to find an escape plan soon.' She advised further.

Hannah nodded, agreeing with her wolf. She closed her eyes and embraced the darkness and hoped it would end all the pain she was feeling.
