"Will you marry me?" These were the words that changed her life forever. Lillian never thought she would hear it after one impulsive decision.

After getting cheated on by the ones she loved and trusted the most, Lillian had never been the same again. 

Dating became a thing of the past and she focused solely on her career. 

Lillian worked like crazy to achieve her goals, but it eventually popped up that there was something missing in her life. She had not been in a relationship for too long, and when she finally decided to get out of her shell, as if it was a fateful encounter, she met him: Leonard, a bachelor who suddenly asked for marriage after one night together. He even offered a staggering deal when she refused his proposal.

Lillian just met him but she felt like they clicked well in their conversations.

After everything she had been through, Lillian became a very careful woman with trust issues and had never done anything crazy and unaccounted for in her life.  But she realized she was bored with her current life and was unknowingly longing for a major unexpected change.

As if something was pushing her, she accepted his proposal. She wanted to do something crazy and dangerous for a change. 

All of a sudden, she gained a husband. And yet, just as soon as they met, he vanished without a trace, and the next thing she heard of him was in the news.

“Mr. Leonard is dead!”

Lillian dropped the book she was reading as she heard the news. That was her husband’s name!

There’s a ton of people with the same name, but the face on the screen was truly her husband's!

She learned he was a multibillionaire. But now, he was dead, and Lillian was his wife.

'I should have talked more calmly when I noticed he was already irritated. Why did I have to add fuel to the fire?' 


Since Leo did not want to let go of the topic, and Lillian did not want to be alone with him when his mood seemed rather dangerous, she tried to explain again that she was used to treating Denis like that because when they went out, it was with other gay or female friends and all of them did it too so she got used to it.


But even Denis had told them to stop kissing him on the cheek or sending goodbye kisses since he needed to maintain his image in front of his employees. 


Since he wanted to hide his real gender identity, and Denis was now the owner of more than five hotels aside from this one(thanks to Lillian's help), it was all the more reason to stop acting as they usually did. He had a lot more employees, and who knew if someone was watching.
