Their driver had now recovered. But one of his legs was disabled now. Daddy had helped him in every way.
They were really grateful to them.
Sometimes Rahim came to his house to meet him as he used to and give him some comfort. He was opening up slowly to him. With Rahim's efforts and his psychiatric therapies, he was not as much reluctant to open the books now. But he just look at them for hours with empty eyes and try to understand them.
His mind was completely blank.
It was almost a year that incident happened but he didn't even talk to anybody except Rahim and Amy. He mostly stayed in his room or went to Dadu's.
He did not lose his temper at the name of school. Rather he just silently averted his eyes to the other side.
Dadu finally succeeded to convince him that he had to be a role model for Amy. If he wants to see her successful in life, then he should show himself to be successful.
He agreed for schooling but refused to travel in the car. He thought that same thing would happen if goes in any vehicle again.
So for his ease, Daddy sent him to a nearby school. He left Amy at Dadu's when he left for school and at home both were again together.
Now Amy was old enough to attend school. Daddy was thinking about her admission in the school where Hisham used to go previously but she was oblivious to go there alone without him being by her side.
"Hisham please try to understand! She's not ready to go alone. If you're by her side you can easily look for her even at school." Dadu was busy brainwashing him.
"Moreover if someone tries to hurt her, you'll be there to help. We could've sent her to your current school but that's not as such better for kids of her age. There are facilities and better options at Saint Mary's." His features softened by the time as she said.
"Okay I'm ready....." he agreed reluctantly. Dadu smiled at him kindly and hugged him. He relaxed in her arms and hugged her back closing his eyes.
Next day onward after certain procedures they were attending school together. He was enjoying her company, her little talks and her actions. She was too cute.
Sometimes he felt pity for her when he thought of her lost. But then he made promise with himself he wouldn't leave her side no matter what happens. But he didn't knew back then he_ himself will be breaking that promise very soon.

He was in his o-levels. He sure had tall height and his features were getting manly. He was 16 now. It's been many years and many things occurred since then.
Their driver, died a few years back. His son Rahim with his mother and younger twin sisters shifted back to his village. But he was staying at a hostel to attend college at city to do his intermediate. He wanted to go abroad to make living for his family as sole guardian of his family.
It was a sunny day.
He just came back from playground. His shirt and trousers were drenched with sweat and red face as he was playing cricket with his fellows. He was looking tired.
He was just about to enter through the main gate when someone called his name. He turned around to see the person. He seemed strangely familiar to him. He was looking at him smiling kindly. He was wearing white shalwar suit with black waist coat. And a white turban over his head.
"Can I get to meet Mr. Khan now?" He asked in a courteous manner. He just nodded his head, confused. The man's black prado near their gate with a driver and a few guards.
"Inform him that Shahzor Areeb Khanzada came to take back his Emanat." He said with a pure selfish attitude, stressing the word Emanat. He was giving a weird vibe. He said 'okay'and went in.
"Nana! Someone came. I think it's 'Shahzor Areeb khanzada'. He's asking for his Emanat. Can I call him over." He saw Baba and Daddy were in lawn so he went near them and informed. He noticed Baba getting pale and Daddy fiercy. He was even more concerned.
"Do you know him? Should I call him in?"
"Bring him to the study and you go to Amy's academy to bring her back." Baba ordered heading inside, ignoring Daddy's questioning looks. He shrugged off his shoulder and went outside. Asking the man to go in he headed to the very next lane where Amy went to attend her academy.

"Hey hold your horses girl! You're gonna fall. I don't want you to hurt your face." He called her out loudly to warn her as she was running round and round around him. He was carrying her bag.
"I know you won't lemme fall down. You can't afford me hurting." She said holding his hand and swinging it back and forth. He laughed at her almost blind trust.
"Oh... but what if someday you're hurt and I'm not there for you what'll you do?"
"Nothing. I'll wait for you to come and comfort me." She said innocently. His smile faltered at her response. He halted in his way.
"Argghh why did you stop? I'm hungry, I want to eat something. Let's hurry home. " she said shaking his arm.
He nodded and started walking again. Soon they were home. Giving her, her food he went to study to ask grandpa about something. He was about to knock at the door when he heard some unbelievable words. He couldn't believe what he heard was true. He opened the door with a sudden jerk. His eyes were unusually red. He asked in a high pitched sound. His voice was hoarse due to his heavy emotions.
"Is he right Nana?"
"Yes he's your dad Hisham! The father who left you and denied to own you when you're just born. " daddy tried to clear his misunderstanding. But Shahzor Khanzada made a move hurriedly.
"My child! I'm here to take you back with me. They have no right to keep you here. I'm your father. I'm sorry for being afraid of this family and not keeping you with me. But I visited them many times before and they refused to introduce me..., your father, to you. I couldn't come as they threatened me with your life. Son! I'm enough powerful now that I'm not afraid of them anymore. Let's go to our home." He really convinced him that he was right.
Hisham looked at baba and Daddy with distrust and avoiding their attempts to stop him or Amy being a crying mess he left the house with his so called father.
It looked like a storm came suddenly and took everything with it, wiping away everyone's smiles.
