Louissa nodded as if she agreed, her lips curling into a sweet but calculating smile.
"Yeah, Auntie. It's really too much already, but that's just how the internet works these days. You'll have to get used to it."
Jenny's face fell, her brows knitting together as she ignored Louissa's words completely.
"No! That's not what I meant. I mean they've gone too far!" she snapped, her voice trembling with anger. Without another word, she grabbed her phone from the table and dialed a number.
The call connected almost instantly. Jenny's voice was sharp and demanding.
"Where are you right now?"
On the other end, Harman's calm, deep voice floated through the speaker.
"I'm on my way home."
Jenny's grip on her phone tightened. Her voice shook, though she tried to keep it steady.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming home? And why—why would you go to Amari first before coming back here?!"
