Mr. Delmonte's mind was crystal clear. No matter how Sebastian tried to shake him, it was pointless just to keep staring at the contract. Without hesitation, he took the card, signed his name swiftly, and gave a faint smile.
"Well, in that case, I'll take you tomorrow so we can finalize the transfer of the property."
Sebastian remained calm as he handed the contract over to Amari. "Here you go."
The papers nearly slipped from her grasp, but Amari caught them in time. Her eyes, however, lingered on Sebastian with a glint of suspicion.
Sebastian smirked knowingly. "I'm aware you hate me right now, Amari. But not everything has to be ugly between us. Since you want this place so badly, I'll buy it for you. I just hope you'll finally stop interfering with the Clavel family."
The disdain flashing in his eyes only made Amari laugh mockingly. She didn't even bother hiding her contempt as she threw the contract straight onto the floor.
