Mike never had any grand aspirations.

Growing up in the outer settlements of Klein 4, all he'd ever known was scavenging for scraps and living to see the next day. All he wanted was a comfortable life.

But fate had other plans, and in a grand turn of events, he acquired the Lupine system. It all happened so fast, and the next thing he knew, he was thrust into a war with another race known as the Lizardmen, all the while, he tries to keep his true nature under wraps.

A world where might makes right, and death is always looming around the corner, Join Mike as he tries to navigate this strange reality with a system that seemed to have turned him into a werewolf.

A fruitful sparring session later, which was devoid of anyone going feral—thankfully—Mike returned to his dorm.


It was a bit funny, considering his skin and clothes still had burns from Agnes' whip, and he'd be lying if he said they didn't hurt. Theresa had noticed and naturally wanted him to go and rest, but Mike assured her that they were just flesh wounds and would heal quickly.


In fact, by the time they reached the training area, a lot of the dead skin had fallen off to reveal skin that was just raw red, and even that was quickly fading

Anyway, while Mike had initially wanted to spar with Theresa, his 'battle' with Agnes made him even more eager to do so. Why?
