Encounter
Needless to say, Mike didn't have the easiest time sleeping.
It couldn't be helped, he was too excited and nervous to get anything more than three hours of sleep, which is another reason he inwardly praised his passive skill because it seemed keen at coming in clutch at the most convenient times as it managed to stop himself from feeling fatigued despite getting less sleep last night than he had in a while.
He was still a bit miffed, though, about his lack of sleep despite the lack of exhaustion.
There was no two ways about it, sleeping just felt nice, and having that luxury stripped away was truly an agonizing experience.
But alas, there was no use crying over spilled milk, and Mike forced himself to move past it, no matter how agonizing it felt.
On that note, Mike ended up getting out of bed pretty early. He initially wanted to be up by 6:30, but he got up by 5 due to the aforementioned reasons.
