Side-Chapter: Simulation Space
After watching the girls disappear inside the inner space of the ship, Luffy also followed, but headed straight toward his room.
Now that he finally had some free time, he was about to create his entertainment hub.
Back when he first created that inner space with free-property materials, he had also made a game room filled with all kinds of consoles to pass the time and escape boredom from staring at the endless blue sky and sea. However, because of being affected by concepts, he had never once stepped into that room.
He was used to spending his time spacing out or sleeping lazily.
Not to mention, with his current newfound ability, the old games and consoles were already long outdated.
With a simple teleportation, he was already inside his room. He lounged happily on his comfy bed and closed his eyes.
White space. As far as the eye could see, there was only an infinite, empty void of white.
Though it might look theoretically as vast as the universe, Luffy, who suddenly appeared inside this space, knew well that it was just an illusion.
This was a space created from his own thoughts, and according to his calculations, it could at most be as large as a star system.
If he accumulated enough thought, it could become even larger—but that wasn't necessary. After all, what Luffy was creating was more like a virtual Earth, or even a simulation space.
After a brief round of mental programming, the world envisioned by Luffy slowly began to take shape inside his mind. Not much later—
A kaleidoscope of colors invaded the white emptiness, and life flooded into the once-silent void.
The blinding light of creation made Luffy squint, but soon his ears caught the signs of the new world's birth.
The hurried sounds of footsteps, the roar of engines, the murmurs of a bustling crowd.
As he slowly opened his eyes, he was struck by the familiar yet nostalgic architecture.
It was the modern era…
Cloud-piercing skyscrapers, highways, billboards, shining lights, speeding cars, flying planes, tram tracks…
Looking at the smart-looking, busy NPCs that seemed no different from real humans—each with their own face, identity, family, job, background, and life—Luffy couldn't help but marvel at the AI powered by his thoughts.
It was too advanced. To think his ideas had instantly been realized. In the 21st century, humans would need decades—if not hundreds of years—of resources and burned money to create something like this. Yet with a single thought, he transcended space, time, and matter.
He now found himself in a secluded alley, not far from an international-class airport. Not far from him stood a sleek, silver-grey sports car.
He patted his pockets—no keys. But that didn't stop him. He reached for the car, which wasn't locked.
As he opened the butterfly door and sank into the comfortable leather seat, a stream of information instantly flowed into his mind.
Driving knowledge at the highest level. How to repair and maintain a car. How to start it without keys. The knowledge was instantly digested, and Luffy—who had only ever heard about driving—suddenly became a car god.
On the passenger seat lay an open box containing a laptop, multiple keys, and stacks of documents.
Identity, passport, driver's license, properties, shares, passwords…
As the creator of this world, and its Game Master, his identity was naturally one of the highest.
Ethan Hayes, 25 years old, CEO of APEX GLOBAL.
His power and influence ran so deep, he could easily topple governments across this planet.
A main seat-holder of the deep state. One of the planet's rulers.
And this planet was hundreds of times larger than Earth.
APEX GLOBAL: a multinational giant with its tentacles in every business field across the globe.
This world was based on a fusion of real life, Grand Theft Auto, Hunter x Hunter, and Western folklore—vampires, werewolves, sorcerers, ability users…
Because beyond just entertainment, this world could also serve as a training field for the girls in the future—and maybe even for citizens of the One Piece world.
After all, GTA was a multiplayer game.
With the map function in front of him, Luffy was almost omniscient. Even the hidden lairs of the most secretive organizations were clearly marked.
He started the engine, and the car shot out of the alley, disappearing at lightning speed onto the highway.
Luffy drifted through traffic with wild precision, his masterful driving skills on full display.
The reactions of the crowd were 100% real: envy, greed, hatred, annoyance, longing.
He sped through red lights, sirens blaring behind him, and Luffy only grew more excited.
After having his share of fun, he easily outsmarted the pursuing police cars. With the map's help, he soon left the suburbs and drove far outside the city.
Finally, he reached his home.
A regal, palace-like mansion sprawling across a vast estate.
Armed guards stood at the gate. The moment they saw his car, they straightened respectfully as the grand doors opened automatically.
After parking, a servant rushed over and took the keys with reverence.
The road from the parking area to the mansion's entrance stretched like a forest, but a clear, wide road ran through it. At its end, a Maybach limousine waited, its driver bowing as he opened the door for him.
He soon reached the mansion, and honestly—he had never seen such luxury.
An army of maids, butlers, and guards.
Red carpets lined the ground. Priceless antiques and vases filled the halls.
Golden chandeliers encrusted with diamonds. Expensive paintings. Royal furniture.
For this identity he had just created, money was nothing but a number.
Sitting on the sofa, laptop in hand, he quickly grasped just how outrageous this world's realism was.
Dark web, crypto, supernatural commissions, world maps, uncharted lands, intel on hidden beings, satellites control…
This laptop was like a master key to all secret platforms of the internet. With a single click, he could know anything happening in both the dark and white worlds.
This identity even owned a private army, advanced mushroom bombs, ability holders, supernatural creatures, and multiple secret identities.
All his subordinates revered him—for after all, he was their world's creator.
Luffy sighed.
"So powerful… I just imagined a top-class identity, and the concept didn't miss a single detail. I'm strong enough to rule this entire world manually without even using GM powers."
He skimmed through the dark web commissions.
There were all kinds of tasks: stealing core data, assassinations, exorcisms, kidnappings, money laundering, drug trafficking…
This world was wide open, and the gameplay offered complete freedom.
You could build wealth through small commissions and climb the ranks, or become a slave to corporate giants.
There were no scripted missions—the world was a replica of real life, with a supernatural twist and an expansive map perfect for adventure.
Luffy had even created monsters lurking in uncharted lands that could smack down the so-called sea emperors with ease.
For hours, he immersed himself in modern fun.
Browsing forums, skimming files, and slowly gaining a clear idea of the world he had created.
"So exciting!!! This world is simply the epitome of entertainment!!"
