The windy morning slowly gave way as the sun began to ride high above the sky. Its light reflected through the blinds, and came to rest on Aveline's face.
Aveline's eyes opened, but she laid still on the bed, waiting for her consciousness to follow suit.
It didn't take long for all of her memories to catch up.
"I'm in the Sinclair mansion, I'm marrying Atlas Sinclair. He'll pay my debts as long as I keep the rules," she repeated three times.
That had become her routine every time she woke up in the morning. It kept her grounded. Knowing her goals, and sticking to the script by all means.
"Let's start the day then," she yawned as she rolled out of bed.
First she went into the bathroom which was fast becoming another routine for her.
Back in pineapple street, she dreaded using the bathrooms. Mostly because it was a tiny cubicle, and reeked badly because of the poor drainage system.
