Kyra's POV
The moment his fingers closed around my wrist, my entire body went rigid. Sylvia erupted in my mind with a snarl. "Don't let him touch us! His scent will weaken your resolve!"
"Let me go," I growled, my voice laced with a warning rumble that came straight from my wolf.
His expression softened, and his eyes flickered with a strange emotion. Fear? Pain? I didn't know, and I didn't care. I had just talked to his mother and told her that I would not get involved in her son's life anymore. It would be my shame if I didn't act on my words.
"Can we... talk for a while?"
"About what, Nathan? About how you shattered our mating bond? How you chose Sophia over your rightful Luna?" Sylvia's growl vibrated through my mouth.
"Please, Kyra. I want to clear things up between us."
