Kyra's POV
I was checking the list of flowers that would be delivered to my shop next week. I didn't know how Kieran had done it, but he managed to buy a shop that could be converted into a flower shop. He told me about it just this morning, and now I was excited to open my own business where I could pour all my attention.
My phone suddenly rang. It was an unregistered number. Thinking it was from the suppliers, I quickly answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Kyra, this is Nathan's mom."
My heart instantly raced at that familiar voice. I swallowed hard as I pulled myself up, bit my bottom lip, and walked toward the window.
"Y-Yes, Luna Marlene."
She had always been kind to me, and she shouldn't be involved in any anger I had toward her son. I treasured her and treated her like my own mother—disrespecting her was something I would never do.
"Can we meet, Kyra?"
"Why?" For what? Sylvia growled suspiciously. But I nodded instinctively. "Of course, Luna Marlene."
