Later in the afternoon after school, Xero had went to go buy the stuff he needed for the four-day exchange.
School supplies and clothes for the days, they also had to bring their spirit swords with them for the sword flying class. And, it was a must to wear your school uniform there, what a f**king pity.
Xero didn't have that many words left to criticize the damn uniform, but the country's aesthetic has changed since its founding, so he can atleast appreciate that.
His only concern, was how he was going to lay low at the four day exchange…
Even if it was Ancient Relic leading the team, or the other five students coming along, he had to be extra careful..
Staring at the notification letter as he went home, he sighed.
No matter what happens in those four days, it better not be stressful.

When he came home, he set his bag on the table as usual, and took off his shoes. He then straightaway threw the notification letter at Zhang Wei's face.
Zhang Wei exhaled in annoyance, "Come on, not even a hello?"
Xero, "Just read it."
Zhang Mei took out his pen, and signed the paper with his name and Xero's name as it required, and then slammed it on the table.
Zhang Wei, "Done."
Xero brows furrowed, "You didn't even read it?"
Zhang Wei usually read the notification letters more carefully than his daily mails.
Zhang Wei threw a dismissive hand, "Be for real, what's the point in reading? It's just some exchange event, besides, is there anyone that can scratch you let alone defeat you?"

Zhang Wei adjusted his monocle and opened the evening newspaper, "Worth mentioning by the way, I heard about the assassins. One of them had such a brutal death, they said the golden interior in the core was reduced to just black mush! F**king diarrhea!"
Zhang Wei looked over to him with a knowing face, "That was you, wasn't it?"
Xero rolled his eyes, "He literally attacked me first, I didn't even do anything."
Zhang Wei chuckled, "Yeah, I was expecting that. Still though, you need to be more careful. We can't have anyone figuring out that my son is a God incarnate…"
At that moment, Lin Mei walked out from the kitchen with plates of food and laid them on the table for dinner, "Come on, don't be so harsh on our Xiaoluo. I'm surprised that's all that happened, the new talisman seal really is working. Rui Rui had been working hard." She said, as he untied her apron.
Xero stared at the soup, "Lobster Soup?"
Lin Mei, "Yeah, that was originally for Rui Rui, but he had to leave early because of some important matters at the military. Now you two eat up!"
Sure enough, that bastard had to come!

Rui Rui referred to Zhang Tianrui, Xero's older brother.
Much like Xero, Tianrui was also a genius from birth. Though both of them had matchless same innate skills, Tianrui focused on scientific research specifically. At the age of twenty-one, he became the youngest scientist to be on Qinghai Alliance. His identity is hidden from the public for now. Till this day, his equipment and inventions have been classified by the government. To the Qinghai Administration, this guys brain is more valuable than any type of technology or invention worldwide!
The most important matter, was the talisman seal that Xero stuck to his right arm, as it pulses with his energy. This was only made possible with Tianrui, who helped with the spell. Under normal circumstances, the talisman seal would have collapsed by now — But mixed with Xero's cultivation and Tianrui's spell, the seal had remained unbreakable till this day.
The seal is only a second layer to restricting Xero's power, a dimensional seal is a way to put it.
The reason he could hide his identity to this extent, was only because of big bro's help.
But, Xero didn't really have a good impression of his brother.
He was stubborn and an overly confident person who would never allow himself to fail. Although he bullied Xero sometimes, he was respectful to Zhang Wei and Lin Mei, what a bastard!
Xero remembered that when he was four years old, he had sneezed and accidentally launched ten year old Tianrui flying across the room!
Since that day, he had taken that humiliation to heart, and promised that one day he would get back at Xero. Till this day, he hadn't defeated Xero once.
So, during these years, the cultivation sealing talisman had continuously upgraded. And so, limiting Xero's magical energy and strength. Yet he still acted bitchy around Xero.
Furthermore, Xero would feel twitchy whenever he heard the name Tianrui. When would this man give up on the get-back already!
But Zhang Mei and Lin Mei never really stepped in between the two, apart from their sibling rivalry — They actually get along pretty well, and Lin Mei would admit… that they are the two best sons she could have ever asked for!
"He also spends more time advancing the talisman seals for Xiaoluo. He has way too much free time." Lin Mei sighed.
"…" Yeah, that's true, he has way too much free time!
"Mhm, I was kinda hoping that it would be finished the week before. Still, he has helped me in my scientific cultivation too." Zhang Wei said while he was eating.
"Rui Rui considers meetings abroad very important. How could I convince him to stay?" Lin Mei said with a regretful tone, "Next time, I will try my best, and if it works; Maybe Xiaoluo and Rui Rui can sleep in the same bed."
Zhang Wei immediately retorted, "Yeah, but what if Xero's snore knocks him away! I don't want my son to be killed because of a snore, how am I supposed to bring that up to my friends at work!?"
"…" Xero really, reeeeallly wanted to yell out slurs. But that would get me in trouble, so hold yourself goddammit!
Lin Mei immediately recognized the problem, "Yeah you're right! What if his snore could really do that?"
"…" That's enough, okay?! For f**ks sake I don't snore!
After blabbering, it was Zhang Wei who returned back to the main topic, "By the way, why did Rui Rui come see us this time?"
Lin Mei immediately realized and pat her head, she looked to Xero, "Wait hold on! Xiaoluo, how long will your talisman seal last for?"
Xero had remembered that the last time he had changed his talisman was two years ago. So, he counted his fingers, hm… one, two, three, four… Four days at most, five days minimum. Until then, the magical energy in the seal would have been exhausted. And then, the seal would shatter completely — and the golden roots that appear in his abnormal state would show again.
"You only have four more days right? Rui Rui had texted me this morning saying that the talisman seal would be delivered later this week." Lin Mei suddenly felt a bit worried, because the last time that his seal had been broken, stars in the sky had fell down with just Xero's step!
"Don't be scared honey, there shouldn't be any problems for the time being."
Looking at Lin Mei's frown, he said, "If you're that worried about him, just let Kongji go with him to the exchange event."
Kongji was the sword that mysteriously appeared in Xero's backyard. According to Xero's father, he didn't think much of it. That happened about fifteen years ago, after Xero had broken the Spirit Severing Blade.
The sword had formed a contract, or bond with Xero ever since.
The material of the sword, really is the special part. It's not made of, gold, silver, or copper… just heavenly wood.
