I stand in front of the mirror, looking at myself wearing a blue dress with a pattern of soft waves. It was only a simple dress. How I miss wearing these.
"My Lady, young lady Aerona and young master Tellus are waiting for you," Agartha informed.
I looked again at the mirror, checking myself on it.
A shocking, unexpected hug greeted me as I stepped out of my room. They missed me, given that they welcomed me with a tight hug, I can barely breathe.
However, despite the struggle to breathe, I felt something I longed and missed, it was their warmth. I am indeed home.
This hug would suffocate me but I am willing. I tried hard to hug them back, slowly. I missed these two.
"Tsk, you should have told us that you will be back," sneered Aerona, looking pissed and annoyed.
"Do you bring us souvenirs?" Tellus squinting his eyes.
I giggled upon hearing them, they never changed.
"Of course, I brought you something." I gave them the two paper bags I was holding.
Aerona took out my gift, roaming and circling it as if assessing the thing she was holding with her furrowed brows. "What is this weird looking wood?"
I chuckled. "It was a musical instrument called flute, it would produce sound when you blow wind in those little holes."
"What with these boxes?" Tellus asked, looking at the bunch of board and card games I brought.
"Those are what they called board games and card games… I just do not know how to play those," I innocently stated.
Tellus narrowed his eyes. "Then, how can we play these?"
Ohh… that never came to my mind. I awkwardly chuckled. "There's instruction, right?" I hesitated.
Tellus and Aerona drooped their shoulders, looking like they could not believe me. I hesitantly gave them a small smile.
"We can ask Blake to teach us," I suggested in a tone of asking a question.
Upon mentioning Blake, their expression changed. Oh… they never meet him. Their eyes became blank, their faces turned serious, their aura started to chill the air.
Without saying anything, Aerona started to walk. Tellus gestured to me to follow them. I took a deep sigh.
No one bothered to say anything while we were marching towards the sacred chamber. I remained quiet, I understand why they acted like this.
As of now, Blake was still a stranger to them, a total stranger that took away Valen's dream.
We arrived, and stopped in front of it, no one still talking. After a few minutes, I broke the silence. Without looking at them, I softly said, "He's a good guy. Let's go?"
The door opened, I am the first one to take a step forward. They felt that they followed. A bright and cozy place unfolded before our eyes.
Two people are sitting in the pavilion, drinking tea. They are talking comfortably, somewhat I felt like they knew each other for a long time.
Blake is wearing a black robe with a few streaks of red and embroidery of flames. A royal robe that is exclusive to the royal blood of Ignisian. It suits him, he looks handsome wearing a robe from this world.
They noticed us as they turned their gaze in our direction. Blake stood up, smiling widely.
"Did you get a good sleep?" I asked, the moment I stepped on the pavilion.
"Yes, this place is so cozy," he answered. Then, he looked at my back.
I intentionally coughed, and held Aerona's hand. She's glaring at Blake with her piercing eyes, a stare that is so intense.
"This is Aerona… the bearer of the air stone. She's known as the Bearer of the Verdant Wind." She's still glaring at him, not minding to introduce herself properly.
I sighed. I turned to Tellus who is looking at Blake while his head is tilted and his hand is on his chin as if he is carefully checking and wondering things about Blake. "This is Tellus… the bearer of the earth stone. He's known as the Bearer of the Earth's Heart."
Unlike Aerona, Tellus extended his hand to shake hands with him. "What's your skincare?"
I blinked upon hearing the first question he asked. Really?
Blake offered a genuine smile, extending his hand to shake hands. "Uhm… safeguard?" he slowly answered, sounding hesitant and uncertain.
Tellus is furrowing his eyebrows. "Where can I get that?" he asked again, leaning towards Blake who also leaned back.
"I-in… the supermarket," Blake whispered nervously because Tellus was so near him.
"What's a supermarket?" he asked again, tilting his head and putting his hand to his chin again.
Blake moved back and fixed his posture, he looked up as if he was thinking. "Uhmm…"
I interrupted them and gently pulled Tellus away from Blake, then forcefully made him look at me. "Those can only be found in the mortal world," I said while looking into his eyes but I actually don't know what a safeguard is but I know what a supermarket is.
"Can't we create it here? I badly want his skincare, I want that skin. That should be your gift to me not those stupid games," he said, throwing tantrums like a kid.
"Your skin is perfect that way it is and you don't need skin care from that world," I softly said to him.
His face lit up and smiled. "Really?" he asked and I nodded.
"Alpha, can't we retrieve the fire stone on him?" Aerona coldly asked, her eyes were so intense yet so cold. She was crossing her arms.
"Aerona… please," I called her in a low voice and hoped she would look at me.
"We need a powerful bearer not a burden bearer." She highlighted the word 'burden bearer' with a sharp and harsh tone while glared at Blake intensely.
I knew Aerona, she would not easily accept Blake as the fire bearer. Or worse, she would never fully accept Blake.
Alpha spoke in a calm manner. "I told you the only way to retrieve the fire stone."
My eyes widened when I felt the strong wind. My hair and dress are getting swayed by the force of it. I looked at Aerona to check if it was her power and I am right, her aura changed and her glare got more intense.
"Then, shall I kill him?" After saying that, the wind got stronger and her aura got fiercer. Her face becomes blank and her eyes does not have any emotions on it but still staring at Blake. The wind continues to get stronger as if it was piercing through our skin.
Blake did not budge. He remained standing there, not getting scared, not backing out in the fierce wind of Aerona. Despite the danger lingering around, he courageously stared directly at her. "I understand why you wanted to kill me but let me at least prove myself… that I am also deserving of this power. If I become… useless or a liability, I will willingly accept… my death."
That move from him… shocked me. I never expected that he could stand on his own, especially when he is faced in a dangerous situation.
No one bothered to say anything after hearing what Blake said. The wind started to cool down, the intense aura of Aerona started to lessen.
"Thank you, Aerona," Blake said to Aerona who is looking away now.
"Don't mind her. She's really like that, I wonder if she always has her monthly girl time." Tellus said, looking at Aerona with his questioning look and raising his eyebrows.
Aerona glared at him and Tellus raised his two hands as if he was surrendering. I chuckled upon hearing what Tellus said then I immediately covered my mouth when Aerona also glared at me. I suppressed my laugh because of that glare.
"See, Blake? I also wonder if she has the blood of a lion or tiger. Her temper and personality are like them," Tellus whispered that made Aerona angry, her face got tense, with a furrowed brow, narrowed eyes, and a tight jawline. This time, I burst into laughter as Aerona's face became like that and Tellus became scared and hid in the back of Blake.
She started to slowly walk towards Blake and Tellus. But, the earth bearer knew what would happen, so he pulled the fire bearer to run.
"Tellus! Come back here, you two!" Aerona shouted and ran after them.
I watched them as they kept on running and laughing. After years, this is the first time I saw them like this again.
"The tree of Elysium is blooming, it's so beautiful." She's looking at the huge tree. It is such a beautiful sight to see, the leaves are falling majestically and the tree is glowing.
"That tree becomes like that when the four core elemental stones are complete and near," she said, adoring the sight of the tree.
"I am happy that the Betas are complete yet sad because… Valen is not one of you."
