Chapter 95 - Plane? Bird? It's Superman!

"Smack!"

Talia slammed her forehead against the cold concrete floor, fighting back the humiliation. Her brown hair hid her face as she spoke in a humble tone, "Please, please forgive me!"

Kino's expression remained unchanged as he looked at the beautiful, yet treacherous woman sprawled on the ground, her curves on full display. He slowly walked towards her.

A large hand gently rested on her head, stroking her smooth, long hair. Kino's voice was soft, "Very good, my loyal servant."

He slowly lifted her head, his fingers caressing her delicate face, gazing at the small face trembling with fear.

Suddenly, Kino pulled out his phone from his pocket, waving it in front of Talia.

Looking at the phone in the boy's hand,

"Wh-what do you mean?" Talia parted her lips slightly, revealing her white teeth, her small face filled with confusion.

Her eyes swept over Kino's mocking gaze and the strong, perfect abs visible beneath his ragged clothes.

She heard words like a devil's whisper in her ear: "Talia, I'm tired of the old photos. I need some new ones to fill my album."

Talia: ?!!

"Cough, cough, cough!"

She looked at the young man facing away from her, who was once again standing on the rooftop.

"Talia."

Kino didn't turn around. "Watch what happens next, and then, remember it."

The woman watched in silence.

Kino slowly closed his eyes.

He spread his arms, which were knotted with muscle.

An invisible energy field enveloped Kino, as if he had an extra arm out of thin air. The young man controlled it to cover his entire body, as if he were wearing an invisible "Emperor's New Clothes."

"Buzz!"

The air trembled, and the ground shook! As the frequency accelerated, it seemed to have broken through a certain critical point.

Talia widened her eyes and opened her small mouth. She watched the scene before her, almost doubting her eyes or wondering if she had also taken some hallucinogens.

At the edge of the rooftop,

The handsome young man slowly floated away from the concrete ground, as if he were Jesus walking on water. It was as if the invisible air was being stepped on by him, becoming his stepping stones.

Kino continuously floated higher, until Talia had to look up at him.

The bright moonlight shone behind him, making him look like a god under the moon.

"God…"

"He can fly!?"

Talia heard herself exclaim in awe; she could hardly believe what she was seeing.

The resentment and humiliation in her heart vanished in an instant. A different thought sparked within the Assassin, the woman.

If she could have a child with such a being, would her child inherit their father's genes and possess terrifying power, like a god?

Then, she could use that child to rule the world.

Talia even regretted why she had swallowed her pride just now.

"Whoosh~"

Kino controlled the weakening of his Bio-Field, slowly landing on the rooftop. His pale blue eyes indifferently glanced at Talia.

This woman needed occasional reminders, and his display a moment ago should keep Talia in line for a while.

Kino told the woman, "You can leave now."

Talia left the rooftop, burdened with thoughts. As she left, the fire in her heart burned even hotter.

She remembered the Assassin League possessed some special drugs. Perhaps she should prepare for her future plans.

The moon shone brightly, and the night was as dark as ink.

A cold breeze gently brushed by, and traffic flowed endlessly.

Kino looked up at the night sky, a crazy plan brewing in his mind.

"Hoo."

Kino took a deep breath and slowly closed his eyes.

"Boom!"

An invisible Bio-Field expanded, easily crushing the rocks beneath his feet, while a dull roar echoed in the air.

With a slight push from his legs, the already broken stone platform couldn't withstand the terrifying force and exploded, leaving a shallow footprint.

"Buzzing~"

The air seemed to become thick and compact under the Bio-Field's influence.

The next moment, Kino abruptly opened his eyes.

A loud bang echoed.

Cracks spiderwebbed across the concrete rooftop, originating from his feet.

The young man shot out like a cannonball. Under the moonlight, his speed climbed, reaching several kilometers per second!

He was like a shooting star, a bullet fired from a gun, tearing through the air with a sonic boom.

The Bio-Field ripped through the air, the friction igniting an orange-red heat.

His speed was such that the surrounding environment blurred into streaks of color, receding behind him.

Kino constantly manipulated his Bio-Field, increasing his speed even further, putting more and more distance between himself and the city below.

He pierced the clouds, breaking through the troposphere.

Gotham City, beneath him, had shrunk to the size of a palm, a black city where the vague shapes of skyscrapers were still visible.

The turbulence in the air kept slamming against the Bio-Field encasing Kino, making sounds like hailstones hitting a car window.

Kino didn't pause, his gaze locked on the clouds above.

He wanted to break free of Earth, to see with his own eyes the blue planet he called home.

And he could do it.

Accelerate, accelerate, and accelerate again!

Wrapped in his Bio-Field, he was like a man wearing an invisible bio-armor.

He soared through the stratosphere, his extraordinary vision allowing Kino to see a civilian airliner flying thousands of meters away.

"Higher!" Kino gritted his teeth, urging the Bio-Field to lift him further.

Boom!

As the figure pierced through the clouds, the young man leaped into the middle atmosphere. The surrounding temperature plummeted, and the frigid air even caused a thin layer of frost to form on Kino's skin.

But, it had no effect on his steel body.

He continued to ascend, like the eternal spear Gungnir, shot by the god Odin into the cosmos, or like the lightning bolt Zeus hurled across the sky. Kino swept past the middle atmosphere.

The Bio-Field heated up dramatically. When Kino lowered his head to look down, Gotham City, which had been there before, had completely vanished from his sight. Instead, he was surrounded by extremely terrifying high temperatures.

They seemed like the Earth's last line of defense, and the terrifying temperatures attacked from all directions, attempting to incinerate this unwelcome guest into ashes.

However, the Bio-Field blocked these "guards." A scorching red light ignited around Kino, making it look from afar as if he were enclosed in a giant fiery screen.

Whoosh!

The Bio-Field protected Kino, and he still did not stop, flying toward the pitch-black scenery above.

He closed his eyes, simply surrendering to the speed.

Boom!

It was like a bullet slamming into a target. Kino felt as if he'd broken through a thick membrane.

The constant noise in his ears vanished in an instant.

Silence, only a dead silence.

Kino slowly opened his eyes.

He found himself standing on the Bio-Field, in a pitch-black cosmos.

The boy slowly turned around.

Beneath his feet, a vibrant blue planet silently drifted, rotating gently within the vast, infinite universe.

Kino knew that beneath his feet, 7.5 billion people were living their lives.
