Max and Iris were guided to the second floor by the servants, where Iris awaited them on the balcony. Three sofas were arranged facing the back garden, with a table in the center, perfect for placing tea and snacks.
Max and Sophia sat on the both sides of the sofa while iris sat in the middle.
When they had just sat down and were getting relaxed, the maids brought some light pastries and tea for them to drink and went away after Iris asked them not to come to the balcony until they were called.
After they left, Iris quickly put away her Lord's demeure, jumped up from her seat, and sat beside Max. She hugged his hand and pouted with grievance.
Max realized she was acting like a child again and tried to compose herself. She asked how things had been over the past month and how she managed to develop the island into something so impressive in just one month since the survival game began.
Upon listening Max's question Iris put away her pouting and became extremely serious.
"Brother, it's been a year since i was transported here and I was developing the island from day one from scratch, it's not one month of time." Iris reported
Upon hearing her words, both Max and Sophia were extremely shocked as they still vividly remember the day they were transported and that was only one month ago according to their memory.
Then Max and Sophia pulled Iris from contemplating and asked her to describe her journey so they can know the details of how she came here and how the trajectory of her development followed.
Iris then began talking.
One day she was on her way to the college which was managed by Max trust which provided education only to orphans with world quality facilities in the world, but soon she was envoloped by a beam of light and immeditly transported to the island and was announced as lord.
Then there are about 1000 kids around here who were declared as residents of the island and then asked me to take care of them until there parents come to redeem them from her.
Then she first made the children obedient and made them cooperate with her to explore the island and started to collect the treasure chests which were washed towards the island beach.
The treasure chests can only opened by the island lord and the children's all cooperated with me to bring the treasure chests which provided us with food clothes and blueprints and resources and people to develop the island easily.
The castle you see now was built recently, about a month ago, along with the addition of guards, maids, and stewards to help organize the city. We used all the blueprints to combine and construct the city you see today.
"Wait, you got people from the treasure chests?" Max asked in surprise.
"Yes, I was also surprise by the sudden human presence on the island other than the children and me, we were panicking first until they knelt Infront of me and declared themselves as subjects." Iris spoke
"Only then I got know, I can get various people and gradually filled the island talent and they were granted the citizenship and helped me build the city." Iris said to Max.
"So, it's seems we were all transported at the same time but the island lords time at the island were manipulated to go forward to give them more time to develop it before the ship captains reach the island." Max concluded the case.
"Time manipulation, can someone really manipulate time," Sophia sake in fright.
"What's there to be surprised about with time manipulation? A total of 10 billion people were teleported, which is space manipulation, and a small treasure box contains resources and even people. So, it's not a big deal for the system to manipulate time in specific places," Max said.
Thinking that way, Sophia realized that what Max had said wasn't outrageous, and she calmed herself before asking how they knew each other, as she didn't notice any resemblance between them, even though Iris was calling him her brother.
"Oh, so we're both from the same orphanage. You know, until I was 18, I lived there, and everyone used to call me Big Brother since I was the oldest," Max said.
Sophia had a disbelieving expression on her face as she heard Iris say she was studying at the university sponsored by Max.
Seeing Sophia's disbelief in Max's words, Iris noticed the reluctance on Max's face to explain further, as it was too painful for him to recount the details. Turning to Sophia, Iris said, "Sister, everything my brother said is true. Both Brother Max and I were orphans, but Brother Max is well-known person in BlueStar. You must have heard of Max Upstart, the youngest self-made billionaire—that's him." Iris gestured toward Max as she explained.
Sophia was astonished to discover that the youngest billionaire, who had shaken the world, was sitting right next to her.
Max saw her surprise expression and said " you don't have to feel surprised as everything in that world has nothing to do with us anymore, now I'm only the normal ship captain here striving to survive like everyone in the world, there is nothing to feel about that."
Sophia relaxed a bit and excitedly shared that she was a fan of him in Bluestar, seeing him as an inspiration for life. His journey was legendary—rising to fame and wealth without any support.
Now She recently learned he started as an orphan, and all she feels endless admiration for Max and his incredible efforts.
Then she slyly added, he is the current number one captain in the region who has various records recorded in the survival game which made many admire him.
Iris was stunned to learn that he was the current highest-ranking figure in the region, making her eyes sparkle with excitement. She felt a surge of happiness and a wave of relief as the tension left her, knowing she had her brother to rely on during the disaster she might face in two weeks.
