After Gilbert spoke to the police officer who answered his call on Cherry's number, he turned to his secretary who was sitting in the passenger seat.
"Get out of the car, Secretary Miller," Gilbert ordered.
"S-Sir?" Liam asked in surprise as he turned to his boss.
"I'm just going somewhere."
Liam scratched his head because of what his boss said. "But what about Miss Ramos? It's not a good idea to keep her waiting, Sir."
"Give her a gift," Gilbert briefly instructed the person in front of him.
"W-But what about your daddy, Sir?..." Liam asked worriedly.
His boss had rejected meeting Miss Ramos several times because of work. But her daddy had given Mister Ace Carter an ultimatum, and he had to follow it. When Mister Kennedy found out, he didn't know how to explain it to the old man.
"Don't worry about it. I'll take care of daddy."
