Grace opened her eyes and found Lucas lying next to her, staring at her, causing her to immediately pull the blanket over her face, feeling embarrassed about what had happened between them the night before.
"Why are you covering your face?" Lucas asked innocently.
"For this, it's best not to ask, even if you're curious, Lucas," Grace replied angrily at Lucas's insensitivity.
Lucas might be able to act normally after what happened between them last night. But not Grace, who was fully human. She didn't even realize she had been intimate with a vampire.
Not understanding Grace's meaning, Lucas tried to pull back the blanket to see her face, causing Grace to hold it tightly to prevent it from opening.
"I don't understand what's wrong with you, Grace," he said bluntly.
"Have you never been in love before? Why are you acting like an idiot?" Grace pulled back the blanket angrily.
"I'm an idiot?"
