Their eyes—more than anything—are like lions.
A lion checking for imposters or any animal that threatens its forest.
They close their eyes and scan for any imposter blood, poison, disease, and other irregularities.
But some vampires are extraordinary.
They can use their blood to regenerate wounds—or even restore a cut-off limb.
To be honest, I was almost surprised.
I could've said it was a coincidence... because my blood type is O.
That's great, but I didn't tell her. I just said,
"Fascinating."
And with that, another journey began.
---
I got into her house. It was kinda small.
She said she was going to take a bath.
I sat down and opened a book I found nearby.
It talked about the early age battles and the vampire relationship with humans.
I was impressed—well-written history.
But I knew… she was clearly waiting to see my reaction.
She even made sounds. Lewd ones.
Exactly what I expected.
Then she went silent.
Acting like someone who cares, I walked toward the bathroom and said,
"Hey, are you okay? Something wrong?"
She went silent, expecting me to barge in.
But I didn't.
Instead, I said,
"Wait a sec. I'll go get help."
Then she coughed and said,
"It's fine. I'm okay."
"If you're okay, then I guess it's okay."
I grabbed the book and left.
I washed at a rented bathhouse, then came back.
She was just getting out—wearing only a towel.
What the heck? Why is she taking it this far?
And who's ordering her?
I could feel the presence.
Ever since I got near the village entrance.
It's watching me closely.
Any wrong move, and every drop of blood in this city will turn into spears…
Ready to burst my chest wide open.
Still, I didn't react lustfully.
Not like she mattered.
I've grown up in situations where girls badmouthed me, humiliated me…
That made me hate them.
And from that hate, I built resistance.
A man who doesn't control his lust—isn't a man.
So I simply said,
"Sorry, I didn't know you were changing. I'll head out."
She replied,
"No, it's my fault. I should've been more careful."
After that, she went into her room and asked,
"Aren't you going to wash?"
"I already did," I told her.
"Then why are you wearing the same clothes?" she asked.
"Let's go buy some clothes."
It was nice—getting to know both her and this strange, constant pressure watching me.
As we walked, she bumped into a man and fell into my chest.
The guy said,
"Hey, watch where you're going!"
I stepped in:
"Yeah, sorry… but you're the one who should be careful."
He said,
"Well, I don't care."
"Then shut the hell up, kid."
He backed off.
"Yeah, sorry. Won't happen again."
She smiled.
"You were so cool."
"Nah," I said,
"A man should stand up for a woman. Don't you think?"
"Totally," she said, holding my hand.
We looked like a couple.
But how far is she willing to go just to test me?
We bought new clothes, had fun, took pictures…
Eventually drank a lot.
She acted drunk. I acted resistant.
Truth is—I wasn't even tipsy.
When we got home, she turned off the living room lights and led me to her room.
She said she already set up a foam sleeping pad for me.
"Cool," I said.
Then she asked me to help take off her jacket.
It felt too lewd.
But I did.
Suddenly, she jumped and hugged me tight.
"Be honest… you care about me, don't you?" she asked.
I pulled back.
"Wait… what's wrong with you? This isn't right."
She rolled over and pulled me onto the pad.
"Enough."
I stood up.
"Stop the act. I've been playing safe and normal with you because I don't want any trouble—with anyone.
This presence watching me… what is it trying to test? My balls? My loyalty?"
Then it happened.
Blood magic wrapped around me—pulled me like a vortex—and teleported me.
I landed in front of a king.
He looked young… but I could tell he was hundreds of years old.
He laughed.
And laughed again.
And again.
"A lot of people can't resist my wife, you know."
I looked up.
"Of all people… you used your wife... what a psycho you both are psycho."
He ordered a seat—a comfy one.
Then gave me food and drinks.
"Enjoy your time," he said.
"You're really special."
He leaned forward and asked,
"By the way… are you really human?"
Then laughed like he already knew the answer.
"Yes," I replied without hesitation.
He grinned.
"I'm partially human as well."
"Wow," I said.
"So one of your family was human and the other a vampire? That's cool, King."
He smirked, sharp and knowing.
"A while ago, you were with your other self, weren't you? That one's like a demon."
He paused.
"So what are you really, bro?"
I kept my voice steady.
"A human."
But then he looked me straight in the eye.
That gaze alone scared the hell out of me.
A pressure that felt like it could split me in two.
Then he laughed again.
"Even someone like you can be scared, huh?"
"Good to know you still hold onto your sanity. Because if you lose that… you could be a serious threat."
He leaned closer.
"And you're fragmenting yourself, too. Holding back from leveling up. I wonder… what would happen if you stopped holding back?"
He stared straight into me.
"You're not human."
I sighed.
"Sure. Let's just get to the point."
"I enjoyed your kingdom," I said.
"Loved the vamps, your wife too. It's comfy here. But there's one thing I need."
"My mana system's busted."
"I did something reckless, used power I shouldn't have. Now my cells can't replenish mana. I need help to fix it."
He leaned back.
"You're too honest."
"So you were the one who burned down that whole land?" he said.
"That was insane, even for you."
Then he went serious.
"Listen. I want one thing from you."
"There's a war between demon factions. We vamps are technically demons too."
"I'm an Imperial. Help me get ahead of the other Imperial rulers."
I nodded.
"Good, bro. Let's begin."
He smiled.
"My name is Valen… Valen Drakula."
"Wait, for real?" I said.
"The actual Dracula lineage?"
I paused.
"I read about you. It says 200 years ago, when humans only lived around 100 years, there was a huge war.
Vampires versus the Draconic Kingdom."
"The dragons worshipped sunlight.
That gave them power during the day, while vampires were at their weakest."
"The dragons lived on floating islands in the sky, strongest creatures in the world.
But their clouds expanded into vamp territory—sunlight broke through and nearly wiped out vampire generations."
"The vampires fought back."
"Your father—Dracula—fought with you at his side."
"They say eight powerful mages helped the vamps, sacrificing themselves in the war."
"When Dracula died, your father Vector was severely injured."
"He was taken to the human lands—Australia specifically—where a top healer treated him.
That healer gave birth to you."
"But when humans found out Vector was a vampire, they cast him out."
"The healer took you to the vampire kingdom… but she died from a mana burst caused by vampire blood.
Vector died with her later."
"Years passed.
The kingdom thought you were dead. But here you are.
Alive.
150 years old… what a joke."
Valen just laughed.
---
We got to work.
I told him to start by gathering soldiers with AB blood type.
They're universal acceptors—can take in any kind of blood.
Which also means they can absorb and channel any kind of magic.
My plan? Train them in both curse magic and holy magic.
---
The next day, we assembled all the AB-blooded soldiers.
Every general and
leader was present.
I laid out the system:
"Universal acceptors," I explained,
"can tap into any power they're exposed to. Indirectly, sure—but it's enough."
"When facing demons, they'll use holy/light magic."
"When facing holy beings—like dragons—they'll use curse magic."
One of the soldiers raised his hand and asked,
"How are we supposed to use light magic through blood manipulation?"
I smiled.
"Great question."
"Blood manipulation lies in power, but most people think light only means the sun."
"But remember—the moon reflects sunlight. It emits light too, just indirectly."
