Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 : liberation began

He said, "Whenever I think of it, my 2-year-old boy comes into my mind. They must be living lonely without me."

And I saw his house—every corner of it—using my telepathic abilities.

I said, "Hold on tight."

And he said, "What the hell—?" He started panicking.

Suddenly, I teleported him right into his house.

He said, "My house..."

He was about to open the door, disbelieving what he saw.

He even fell to the ground and began to shiver.

And just before he reached the door—a really, really, really close gap between his nails and the door—I teleported him back.

He said, "Teleport me back!"

Then I said, "I wish I could, but I can't."

He said, "No—you must teleport me back!"

Then I said, "Nah. Actually, even if I can, if they caught both of us here it would be a problem for the others.

So yeah, just cooperate. It will only take me a week to wrap this up and teleport us to your country.

Your job will be to connect with people I met online through a game and take what they give you.

Fill our info on it, and using that info, they will prepare a better future for us.

Then you'll be sent home right away.

So you better do your job now. No delaying."

He said, "I would do anything for my family. Anything."

Then I said, "Good. Then let's begin with the others in sleep paralysis. You know them, right?"

He said, "I was their leader—how don't I know, kid?"

Then I said, "You know the others who are your age?"

He said, "Yes, those my age as well. I can do it."

"Then let's begin. I will give you an applicant form or something like that.

Fill their names and everything.

And since you're not a spy, I'm expecting the others aren't either."

He said, "I already know some spies. They failed. So they're in sleep paralysis.

I'll mark them as well."

Then I said, "You know how to use hologram paper?"

He said, "Yes, kid."

"Then let's go."

And when they all slept, I opened the ground and passed through it—not the whole ground, though. After that, I got to him, and we began monitoring

very person there.

And I said, "Wait a second…" and teleported.

To a place I know—there is this guy named Rajin, a kid my age who I beat in every game he played in.

He was the one to help me. His father is one of the strongest and wealthiest men in Sakura land.

They are considered a Yakuza family, and they said they could save me as long as his son wants it too.

Then I accepted it.

Rajin came to me and said, "You ready? I'm gonna teleport them all one by one and you're gonna take them.

Here's the applicant form you asked for."

He gave it to me, and then I left.

I began to quickly teleport them one by one and used my mana to replace them.

I teleported everyone in there, from 1 to 68—people trapped in sleep paralysis.

While replacing them with my clones, I already possessed a lot of skills thanks to anime, manhwa, manga, and novels (my favorite, so yeah).

Then after that happened, I forgot the man.

Now you saved your friends. Everyone. You're really a real leader.

So I asked, "You wanna go to your house as well?"

He said, "No, I haven't finished. You said a week. I waited for almost 5 years in my life, so I can wait for a week."

Then I teleported him anyway and said, "Nah, I was just joking."

He said, "Be careful out there."

And I said, "Let me see you happy one last time. Go on in."

Then he knocked the damn door—and his son opened it.

He had left his son for a war and got tangled up in this mess, and after 5 years he saw his kid grown up. The kid began to cry and said:

"Mooooooom... Dad is home!"

The mother came and hugged her husband, and he was crying with them at the door. He said:

"Thank you... thank you, kid…"

And when he looked back—I had already teleported.

He cried and said, "I finally met my family..." and screamed.

The neighbors came and said, "He returned! He returned alive! We thought you were dead!"

I was there the whole moment—watching from the roof. Then I teleported back.

---

To Room 68.

David said, "Kurai, what are you doing here? How did you get in here?"

Then I said, "Shake my hand."

And he said, "What?"

Then I said, "We got no time. Shake my hand."

Then he said, "Okay."

He shook my hand—and I teleported him to the Trio Monsters, the ones who had been there for years. The strongest ever.

I told him, "Tame all three of them."

And he said, "Wait—how?" He was scared when he saw them. They were huge.

Then I said, "Do it now."

And he said, "Are we really doing this?"

Then I shouted, "Hey! Listen! Look into my eyes—look into them!

Do I look like I chose you to help me for fun?! Do I look like I'm playing?!

We are saving lives here. So get your ass ready and tame them while you can!"

The emergency had started—because the monsters' emergency protocol system had no connection to the AI whatsoever.

But even though I couldn't get my 68 clones out of there—because if I did, the old man would know about it—they gave the signal fast.

But the monsters would only be noticed by the guards, and I needed to hold off until he tamed them. I had to call out for the others.

Then I unlocked the door and said, "Guys, come over here!

We gotta go out while we can. Before I can teleport again—I have 30 minutes."

All the 8 guards came to me.

Then, the moment Dante saw them, he laughed and said,

"You know how much I've been wondering how to piss you all off?"

And he jumped—with his flame on.

Then the taeyang appeared from the back of one of the guards and took its shockwave gun.

It sends electrons to interrupt the mana flow which stops nervous system for short period of time.

They are pretty cute, not to mention she is doing well now.

Then how should I approach this?

At this time, we want to get out of here, and I already said "tomorrow" for them as a response.

I have already gotten everything planned.

At any moment, David will be able to pull it off somehow, and when that happens, I must teleport them.

But I'm really weaker than I thought. Look at me, all sweating.

I can't blame myself—after all, creating 67 clones and getting their mana sucked while teleporting 67 people from miles away is exhausting.

My mana is no joke. At the very least, I must fight my ass off.

I was so drenched in sweat and thoughts, and then I joined the fight.

David was so exhausted from taming those legendary beasts that had been in the mana drainage for many years, so I told Lyra to heal him and aid him with mana.

She got right on it.

After that, I got to Rim and told her to fight from long-range distance using her sand magic (not earth magic).

I told her to use the sand to cover herself from those two who were using guns.

She ran faster toward them—they were channeling lightning-aided mana into their guns.

It fired, and she created a clash. Around 40 of them shaped the stones she sent flying by controlling them into thousands of bullets.

She plunged them into the clash-type guns she made and, using the sand, fired them one by one.

There, she began her game—fighting gun with gun.

Yosuke came to help her since it was 2 vs 1. He used his Thunder Bolt Diffraction, and then thunder balls formed all over the place.

When they diffracted, they exploded.

On the other hand, Dante was already in the lead—3 vs 1.

All three used water magic and martial arts. He always worked on calisthenics and had an athletic body.

He made himself a mage who wins with his fists. He burns everything he touches—even the ground he stands on.

He was rampaging in fire.

Meanwhile, it was 3 vs 2—me and Taeyang. Taeyang said he would use Shadow Void.

I said, "That's dangerous, but if you're sure, do the Raven as well." He did the Raven, and the guards didn't know about it.

They were looking around, trying to find him. In that split second, he pulled one of the guards into the shadow and sank him in.

He took a deep breath, kicked his ass, and threw him out.

They were too distracted, so I used a One-Shot Dash Technique and punched them in the neck. They lost consciousness.

They are really strong, and I admit that. But they weren't able to comprehend what was happening.

The eight of us were doing something even high-ranked magicians can't do.

We were creating our ow

n attacks and defenses. A lot of magicians struggle to create even one attack—it might take them a year and a half to master it.

They usually rely on foundational attacks and defenses passed down through generations.
