– Hey! You were supposed to be showing your face when you reach 50,000 subscribers. You should know how hard it is to get even 1,000 subscribers on "Beg"! Mister "Han taewon", can you drop the act now?! You already had a promising future even without masquerading as Han taewon, you are going to bring doom to yourself. You already have…(checking) 57,791 subscribers! Just give us the freaking proof we need!

Han– while reading the comment, didn't really feel much. Why would he? He is the real Han taewon anyway.

With a smile, he answered.  "Well, I did achieve 50,000 subscribers like 5 or 6 days ago, but the only reason I didn't was because my birthday was close by. So I decided to postpone it."

– Well… that is true… wait! Isn't it 15th November today?! Then does that mean you are going to reveal your face today?

Just as another superchat comes, the whole comment section starts flooding again.

– Wait, is it 15th November already?

– What the fuck… it's November right now? Shit… I lost NNN.

– Bruh. Is it really November right now? I thought it's December already. Why the fuck is everything so cold this year? Why did the winter even start at the start of October!

– Oh right. It's November, the winter coming way too early as well as the fact it's way colder, I sometimes forget it.

There were these types, on the other hand there were these types.

– Bro, do you really expect it?

– To be honest, I don't really expect much from a fake.

– So. Today is the fateful day where the real and fake are decided. Quoted by – ...I dunno man.

– Guys. Why the fuck is there a chunni here?

– Hey! I'm not, I was just giving a line I picked up from something I watched a long time ago.

As the chat kept becoming more and more chaotic, Han finally decided to put a hold on that.

"Guys. You know how it's already past 3 PM, right? I have been streaming for over 2 hours. So, goodbye! Wait for the night when I post a picture of myself in my social media account." He said in a cheerful tone.

– Bro always ends things like that.

– I bet bro is hated by a lot of viewers because of his habit of ending like that.

– Bro, please wait a few more minutes. T_T

– Wait! No! Please wait a few more minutes. We have a lot to discuss!

– Wait a minute! I have–

The stream now turned off, Han sits on his chair– already feeling worse than before.

He walks out of the apartment feeling a little compelled right now. After what happened 3 years ago, there was rarely any time he enjoyed anything.

Walking out and meeting the security guard has become a thing of everyday life.

While walking down the street feeling bored as well lost, he starts to walk towards a certain direction.

But he suddenly thought of something and turned his way back to none other than the direction of the same park he visits everyday.

While walking down the street, he notices some people smoking near an alleyway, they are some teenagers.

Noticing Han staring at them, they call him out, but Han just ignores them and keeps walking on his own.

While walking, Han thinks about why people really smoke in the first place. Smoking is something which is really weird to someone like him, who has never smoked in the first place.

As Han arrives at the park, he sits on a bench as he wonders what to do today. Even if it really is his birthday, it isn't much different than every other day.

While wondering with his eyes closed, he feels a sense of drowsiness before it takes over him.

"Mister. Mister. Hey! Wake up."

Hearing someone calling him out, he wakes up. Before he even realized, he had fallen asleep and the sun had already set.

It was the same boy whom Han would see every night whenever he came to the park. The same one who would be completely engrossed in his phone every single day.

Seeing Han wake up, the boy sits down at another bench and pulls his phone out of his pocket before getting completely engrossed again.

Han sits there for a while before getting up and starting to head back to his apartment building. Before he could walk too far away from the park, the same boy called him out.

Seeing the boy call him out was a bit surprising for him, as they never had any interaction.

The boy spoke. "Anyway, what I wanted to say is that… be careful. Recently there were some transfer students in the school and they are already going around bullying and attacking people."

Han becomes confused at first, but then notices a bruise in the boy's cheek. Which affirms the boy's words.

"Anyway… that was all I had to say. Be extra careful, as there are rumors that they won't even hesitate to kill people if needed."

"The only reason I'm saying all this is because your condition doesn't look good at all and those burns are just rough." Finishing his words, he goes back and sits on a bench before being engrossed in his phone again.

While walking on the street, he feels a cold shiver run down his entire body. It is not something new during winter, especially in a winter which is colder than usual.

Because of his burns he has lower cold resistance, but his nerves being damaged makes him not feel them most of the time and he occasionally feels the cold sensation.

As he was walking, he noticed the same group of teenagers he saw during the afternoon. Also most likely the same ones the boy was talking about.

Unlike before– when they were smoking, this time there was a new company with them. Who was clearly here without his consent.

Ignoring it, Han decides to head his own way when he hears a loud metallic sound. Suspecting the teenagers, he looks at their direction and finds his intuition to be correct.

One of them was holding a metal bat and trying to scare the new boy. They were most likely doing their own thing, being a bully.

He thinks of intervening for a while, but reluctantly shrugs it off.

"Arghh!"

Just when he was about to head back again. He hears someone screaming in pain. It was the same boy whom they were trying to scare off. But this time, they actually hit him.

This time Han finally decided to intervene as he walked towards them.

"Hey buddy. Let's calm down, shall we? Things seem to be getting too serious around here." Han was speaking in a calm tone. Trying to stop the conflict from escalating too far.

One of them recognized him from before. "Mister. You should walk off like you were doing, otherwise you are just asking for trouble."

Han tried to pursue them again. "Hey, hey, no need to be so rough, is there? All I'm asking is to stop this and go each other's way like a good boy."

"Seems like you are not getting what we are meaning to say. People like you always need to learn it the hard way. Even your face looks like shit!"

As the guy runs toward him with the intent to punch. Han simply kicks him in the calf as the guy grabs his leg in pain stopping his movement.

"Ha… seems like I'm getting into some trouble on a good day like this." Han says with a sigh.

Even if Han had a nonchalant look, he actually hurt his leg a lot more than he thought, especially the bone. After these 3 years of living a stale life, as well as the fact that he doesn't go outside a lot or have a good diet. Meaning, the shape of his body is absolutely shit right now.

Han starts to move his right arm in a circular position to relax a bit before all 4 of them attack him at once.

Han quickly kicks another one's calf while also dodging the punch of another guy as he proceeds to punch the gut of the guy in front of him.

The one with the metal bat tries to hit him, but his bat is simply grabbed by Han. As the other one tries to attack him again before getting an uppercut on his jaw.

Han just punches the face of the guy holding the metal bat as he steals it and throws it at the guy's guts, whom he hit on the calf.

He kicks on each one's calves just so he can make sure they don't get up anytime soon because of the pain.

He looks for the boy they were beating up, but he doesn't find him and guesses that the boy ran away after he found the opportunity.

Han looks at the bullies for a while– thinking what to do, before simply walking away.

As he walks back his way to the apartment building he meets uncle Hwan just like everyday. But this time, Hwan-oh was the first to start the conversation.

"Hey, Taewon! Do you know that there are some bastards trying to buy this apartment building?" He asked in a somewhat serious tone.

Han– just as always with his deadpan voice answers. "Yes. It's kinda shit to be honest… who wouldn't be attached to a place they have been for 2 years already?"

"Well, you are not wrong. I have been its security guard for around 10 or so years already."

Seeing him silent, Han decides to go back to his apartment as the guard calls out to him again.

"Taewon! Remember to be careful, there are rumors that they have connections to gangs and such."

Han turns back and nods affirmatively before heading back to the apartment.

After entering his apartment, he immediately goes to drink water. After drinking multiple glasses of water he finally quenches his thirst.

Because of the burns, his life has become a lot harder in many ways. Even the sudden thirst for water apparently happens because of something related to that.

Just then he suddenly remembers something as he walks out of his apartment again and starts walking on the start. This time taking a different direction as he finally reaches a convenience store.

As he walks into the store, someone greets him with a happy voice. He also greets the person in reply.

Min Jaeho, the son of the store owner. After Han had shifted to this place he once walked into this convenience store and later became a regular here.

"Happy birthday! Congratulations on your 22nd birthday! I have a little surprise for you because it's a special day today."

As he takes out a small cake from his counter. Han was surprised by this but quickly regained his composure.

According to Jaeho, he bought this thing with his savings just for Han, as this is their second year of being friends as well as Han's birthday.

They celebrate it in just a short time, but the one more excited was Jaeho compared to Han, who is supposed to be the birthday man.

After everything is finished, Han simply buys the things he needs and starts heading out before Jaeho throws something to Han– which he catches based on pure instinct.

"Oh… no matter how many I see this, it just isn't enough. How do you even do this?" He asks in a curious tone.

"It's just reflexes." Han replies nonchalantly, clearly done with him.

As he looks at what Jaeho threw at him, it turns out to be calcium and vitamin D pills.

"You really should touch grass more often." He says in a cheerful tone while waving at Han, even though he was clearly ignoring Jaeho.

Just as Han steps outside he feels a sudden pang in his head. Until now he has been feeling a bit nauseous which just got worse and worse, now it is even leading to headache. A bit of blood comes out from his nose which he wipes using his own sweater.

Han ignores that as he keeps walking, then he suddenly takes out his phone and takes a selfie. His face could be seen very clearly because of the full moon.

He posts that picture of him online, through his old account he used to use a long time ago. His picture, with a changed face but the same person, from his account, there was every reason to believe that he is really Han taewon.

Suddenly the pain he has been trying to ignore becomes even stronger. After a while it calms down as Han reaches his apartment building. He was sweating, breathing heavily and feeling awful.

Suddenly a message comes to his phone. This time it was from his parents. Seeing it, a smile forms on his lips.

This time he decides to send a reply, which he did after a lot of hesitation. Feeling a lot more free he opens the door to his apartment before falling down. His feel straight at his face.

He couldn't feel his legs. They just suddenly gave out. His breath keeps on getting shorter as well as the headache becomes even stronger.

All of sudden an intense pain enveloped his legs. It was an indescribable pain. It started from his feet and kept crawling up.

Even in this situation he couldn't do anything and only just gasped for breath which kept getting shorter. The pain was so intense that a million– no, a few trillions of needles were entering his body.

As the pain kept crawling up, it also became stronger. At this rate he couldn't even think clearly other than the fact that he's in pain. An unimaginable pain.

As it kept crawling up, it finally reached his throat and this time he couldn't even breath, the pain was so intense that even all the previous pain together felt nowhere near enough.

Suddenly he just laid motionless and the last thing he saw from his position… was himself.

As he suddenly wakes up gasping for breath, vividly and barely remembering the pain.

'Was it all a dream? But dreams can't be that real.' Before he could comprehend anything, he felt like he was not in his place.

Just as he looked around, he was actually not in his place. The soft and luxurious bed made of silk was so soft that it seemed like it could be torn with just a little effort. A room that was as big as his entire apartment, which was also filled with all sorts of things. Only then did he notice the moon as the light fell on him.

The moon was blue.

He quickly got up from bed and ran up to the big door that seemed to be the only way out of the room.

The only thing he met with was surprised as he met two people in cladded armor outside the door who dropped their spears just seeing him.

Even a maid passing through screamed as she fell on her knees as one the guards tried to help her get up.

They all had one thing in common, they seemed like they had seen a ghost or something that was way too unnatural to be happening.

Before he could even understand a single thing happening, a headache that could potentially split someone's head open. As blood started to come out from his nose and his eyes became bloodshot before he collapsed.

Han felt like he was standing somewhere, not yet standing. Strangest thing being, he felt happy… and excited.

He could clearly feel both happiness and excitement, but it didn't feel like it was his as someone speaks.

"It has already been 10 years since you came."

It was a feminine voice, but also a voice that was clearly from someone young.

Everything was too sudden, but Han knew exactly what was happening as he slowly opened his eyes.

There was someone standing in front of him. A girl no older than 15 with long violet hair curling down to her waist, red eyes that looked like rubies and beauty that looked unreal.

He noticed how there was nothing around here, like an infinite space of nothingness. Only a gray infinite space.

And all he answered is. "Yes. It has been."
