Han slowly opens his eyes and wakes up. Before getting up, he checks the time on his phone. It's only 8:57 PM. As he gets up from his bed, he just spends some time standing– wondering what to do.
After a while, he heads straight to the bathroom and washes his face. As he comes out rubbing his eyes, he comes out of the apartment.
He looks around the empty hallway for a moment and goes out to get some fresh air. While heading out, he sees Hwan-oh, the security guard dazing off.
Standing there for a while, he decides to strike up a light conversation as he approaches the old man.
The old man became a bit surprised when Han woke him from his daze, but quickly regained composure. They talked about some random things such as foods, sports etc for a while before Han heads out.
Han walks down the quiet street, streetlights a bit far away from each other– making it a bit harder to see clearly.
While walking, he sees some people passing by which was a bit surprising for him, as it's hard to see people walking around this neighborhood after 9 PM.
After a while, he reaches the same park he always goes to when he feels too bored. There are more streetlights around the park compared to the street.
Unsurprisingly there are a few people walking around or sitting on a bench in the park. Han knows the people here, not just him, but everyone must know each other here, but no one ever dared to strike up a conversation with each.
After standing near a tree for a while, he also chooses to sit down on a bench.
There was a teenager who was sitting on the other side of the bench engrossed in his phone. A guy who would always run around the park at night. Another guy who looked like he made this park his personal gym at night– bringing multiple weightlifting tools. A girl who would sit on a bend near a streetlight, drawing something on her tablet.
These people always come here at night, but no one has ever talked to each other.
After a while he sees the teenager standing up and walking away. He always walks away around this time, supposedly towards his home.
Han stays there for a few minutes before deciding to get back to his apartment. While he was walking down the street, he looked at his phone, it was already 9:47 PM.
He thinks if he should stream today, as he really didn't feel like it. In the end, he decides not to stream tonight and just laze around for now.
When he reaches the apartment building. While he was walking past uncle Hwan, they gave a slight nod to each other as a form of greeting.
He reached his apartment and entered. But after coming back, he didn't know what to do. So he just decides to play some games on his PC before eating something.
When the monitor was starting, a notification sound came from his phone. When he took his phone and looked at it, he realized what time it was.
He looked at his phone as another message came.
[Son. I think it's obvious as to why I am sending this, so please always consider us and stop it. It has been 2 years already since you moved away and we have been sending you money every month so that you don't have any trouble. Please consider it and come back, as you know how your father has become restless since you left.]
It has always been like that for the past two years. The only reason Han never had to worry about money for the past two years was because his parents would always send him enough to live a decently stable life.
He opens the chat and starts to write something, but he thinks about something for a while and quickly deletes it and puts the phone away.
He cracks his fingers and looks at the monitor which has already started long ago. Just then– he saw a notification on the inbox.
When he checked it, he found out it's a message from none other than KON.
[Well well well. Look who it is, it's none other than us! The "Wearegood" studio. Yes, I have fixed the mistake of calling ourselves a company. I mean of course a group of 5 or so people can't be a company.
If you guys are wondering what this is about, it's actually a global announcement… sort of. It is a message that is supposed to go to every player of KON.
Anyway, this is to say a few things about the changes we made.
1: We changed the thing about noble families' names. We have added Von and Van… actually it's not something new, but yeah, we added this. Von means someone that came from direct lineage, the child of the patriarch and his mistress. Then the Van exists for those that are adopted, bastard children (Poor kids T_T), and those born from concubines.
2: We also gave some more detail and clarification about some characters. Such as… take Selica von virelis for an example. I said she had complete immunity to status effects. Actually it meant things such as poisoned, disease etc type of status effect. Those that directly affect the body by something entering the body.
3: We have completed about 70% of the power system of the main continent!!! Yes after so long we did it. Though, in the scrapped concepts section in our site, we will only give away the main points of each thing (which will only come after it is 100% complete). By the way, before you guys say something, that 70% of the power systems of just one continent (there are 4… with entirely different settings) is already 7,148 words. Yeah, you can guess the scale.
There was that one guy who had ADHD and was literally called ADHD. When he was around he would have so many ideas that the thing that took us over a month, he would make it in less than a week, alone.
You know how creative he was? The things we made, he had already made about 50% of them, even when they were concepts. Well, to begin with, he was the one to make them. You know how cooked he was, what took him 2 weeks, we took more than a month to expand that thing a bit more with 5 of us. He was beyond creative.
It was fun until… right… Let's not talk about that.
The last thing I have to say is that I'm Cherry, the one tasked with doing things like this, (writing these types of articles for the game) . I am really bad at many things. Which is why I make a lot of mistakes. So you can forgive me… right?]
If Han wanted to, then he could easily go to the site and check the new things they added and changed, but he doesn't, as he really isn't fond of spoilers.
He thinks about starting playing KON for a moment, but decides not to, as this was the game that is the main attraction of his streams and playing it means he has to stream right now. Which he definitely does not want.
After wondering for a while, he starts another game which he doesn't play much. The only reason he is keeping this game is because it's supposed to have a good story despite how bad the game is.

Han wakes up from sleep and checks his phone. It's only 5:47 AM right now. He moves the blanket and sits up.
He stares down at the bed for a few minutes before getting up and heading straight to the bathroom. He brushes his teeth and washes his face.
After feeling a dry irritation in his hair– he washes it as he comes out of the bathroom drying it with a towel. He loosely ties his hairs with a hairband.
As he slouches over to the door, he comes out of the apartment. He walks out of the apartment building and comes out to the streets.
The sun has barely risen out and everything is covered in mist in the midst of a winter colder than anything before.
He takes the jogging stance and starts to run. As he runs through the misty road, he can barely– but still see the same stores, buildings, trees that he sees every single day.
He keeps on going and finally reaches the same park he always goes to. He walks around it for a while. Just like everyday, for 2 years, there is still nobody around here at this hour of the day.
He finally sits down on one of the public benches in the park. As he closes his eyes, he feels a sense of calm inside him.
