The night breeze was soft as it blew over the horizon but there was nothing soft about the silhouette that stood staring at the moonlight with a cold and dangerous gaze.
Ricky Brown stood transfixed, waiting in front of the pool in his mansion-like villa.He was waiting which was quite unusual of him.He never waited for anyone.This can only mean whoever or whatever he was waiting for is in for a hell of troubles.
"Mr Brown,they are all here" his secretary Chang ping said from behind him.A wicked smile appeared on his strikingly heavenly face.
Ricky was an Enigma,a very rare specie in a universe where only three were known;Alpha,Beta and Omega.Not many people knew of his specie.He was often mistaken for an S-class Alpha which was the highest and most powerful of all Alphas.They never knew of any Enigma,so no one knew of his extraordinary abilities partly because he was introverted and he was the thirteenth and the last of his father's children who often was discriminated and humiliated as he was an illegitimate child.
As fate would have it,Ricky was the favorite of his father's sons and he got to inherit the position of the CEO of X holdings(Not the original name of the group of companies,Ricky changed it after he became the sole owner) after his father passed on,that never came to be without the constant attacks of his elder brothers, all these contributed to Ricky's ruthlessness and wicked attitude,he was cold on the outside but warm on the inside no wonder he had secretly loved an Alpha who was his rival in the business world for sixteen years without him being able to express his feelings for fear of rejection because of his status as a strikingly wealthy CEO and so he deviced a plan.
"I'll be there shortly"he replied his secretary who awaited his response.
Ricky walked in letting his powerfully intimidating pheromones into the atmosphere choking the Omegas who were summoned against their will.They all knelt down awaiting their fate.
Secretary Chang's voice rang out as soon as Ricky sat down on a sofa."Likes to cry,big eyes,red lips,has a narrow face,is fair and pretty.These are what Mr Kant's past partners have in common"the secretary handed over the ipad which he read from to Ricky so he can check their profiles."The thirty two exes you want to see are all here"Secretary Chang paused.
"He has such a bad taste"Ricky whispered to himself.
"It is said"Secretary Chang continued."That Mr kant has never been in a relationship.The exes you see are just his bed partners but while Mr Kant has a short-lived passion for his lovers,his taste is very uniform.Some people even joked that Mr Kant is also being loyal like this"He paused again seeing Ricky's sour expression."Please.....Don't be upset.In my opinion,Mr Kant may not have true feelings for those exes.Theoretically,if they didn't truly love each other while they were dating,Mr Kant still haven't had his first love yet"
"Is that so?"Ricky mused with a cold glint in his eyes.
"Of course,among these Omegas,Nick Douglas was with Mr Kant for the longest,and it was only half a year.If Mr Kant really liked him,how could he get tired of him in six months" Secretary Chang then pointed out."This one in white is that Nick"
The Omega pointed bowed his head in fear.
"What are you waiting for? come here"Chang ping nodded towards his boss while looking at the frightened Omega.
Nick rose and scurried in front of Ricky."I broke up with Maxwell long ago...."Before he got the chance to finish his sentence Ricky's pheromones were released attacking and choking him till he fell back on his knees."His pheromones are so strong,who is this person?" Nick thought to himself.
"When my boss is asking about something,even the president of this P country dare not talk him standing up"Secretary Chang stated matter of factly.
"Sorry I didn't know the rules"Nick gasped."Please be the bigger person and forgive me"He blurted out in fright then thought to himself "How can he still be releasing pheromones despite having an inhibitor patch on?"(Inhibitor patches are used to hide the scent of pheromones so it doesn't affect others)."Why did he gather all the Omegas that Maxwell had dated? Is he seeking revenge on Maxwell Kant?"
Nick blotted out with plea in his voice"Sir,I broke up with Max a long time ago.He may not even remember my name"
"Max?"Ricky smirked "What an intimate way of calling him"
Nick gasped "I really haven't been in touch in touch with Mr Kant for a long time"
Ricky bent over to look at Nick who bowed his head frightened "You were dating Mr Kant for half a year" He reached over,grabbed Nick's jaw and raised it up so he can see his eyes squarelly.Nick shook violently from the impact.
"Are you trembling?" Ricky smirked. "Don't be afraid,tell me,what kind of Omega does Mr Kant likes?"Nick could not respond as he was shaken all over.Ricky let go of his jaw and relaxed back on the sofa,his secretary immediately brought out an handkerchief to wipe his hand.
After a few hours that the hostages were taken away,Ricky still sat in his posh sofa with his secretary standing in front of him.He removed the inhibitor patch at the back of his neck and handed it over to his secretary.
"One hour and six minutes" Ricky hissed.
"I'm very sorry" Secretary Chang apologized. "This is already the most effective inhibitor patch in the market,unfortunately its still not enough for for you but don't worry,the lab has designed an injection inhibitor for you.Once it has passed its testing you can start using it.Please give me ten more days to---"
"Three days" Ricky interrupted."Chang Ping,three days at most.I need to get an effective inhibitor"
"Yes sir,I got it" Chang Ping replied a bit disappointed.
