As soon as everyone gathered I started narrating the whole story "I saw that Manish, my business rival, hugged Aditi. My blood boiled. I pulled her away and punched him, starting a brawl. During the fight, I lost sight of Aditi, which completely freaked me out.
I eventually found her, but she was having a panic attack, triggered by our fight. Seeing her terrified reminded me of her past trauma. I felt awful and immediately apologized, promising never to raise my hand again. I just wanted to soothe her.
The chaos continued when Manish reappeared, calling Aditi "my Junu" and claiming her as his sister. We got into another heated argument. Aditi, surprisingly calm, diffused the situation by revealing Manish was her childhood friend and "first brother."
I was stunned to learn about her past, especially about her deceased elder sister, whom I had no idea existed. Manish even showed a photo of Aditi, which I snatched, infuriating him further. Despite the tension, Aditi's calm demeanor throughout the ordeal left me speechless. I ended up leaving with Ayush who told me the whole story about how her sister died in front of her?, how her father used to abuse her mother and her and her sister? He told me each and every scar that aditi had in her body how she had suffered from panic attacks, how she used to endure every pain in herself and I still fuming but shaken by everything that had transpired."
AUTHOR'S POV
Siddhant finished recounting the chaotic incident, the silence in the grand living room of the Chaudhary mansion thick with unspoken emotions.
Rajendra Dadu Sa, with his wise, weathered eyes, slowly nodded. Padmini Dadi Sa's hand flew to her mouth, a soft gasp escaping her lips. Rajnath, their father, looked like a thundercloud had settled over his brow. The two chachis, Geeta and the other (name not specified), exchanged worried glances, while the chachas shifted uncomfortably. Siddhant, Vihaan, Abinash, Vinay, and Avinash-the brothers, including Tripti, Avinash's wife-all wore expressions ranging from shock to simmering anger.
A soft sob broke the silence. All heads turned to Padmini Dadi Sa.
