Chapter 25 - Chapter-23

The morning sun cast a soft, golden glow across the living room, revealing a sight that brought every member of the Chaudhary family to a respectful halt. Vihaan, the first to enter, stopped abruptly, a mix of profound relief and solemn joy settling over his features. He didn't see a "cute" picture; he saw a treasured memory, a symbol of a family mending itself. He quietly raised his phone and captured the moment.

The sound of the shutter was barely a whisper, yet it drew the rest of the family. The air, which had been thick with unspoken tension the night before, now carried a profound sense of peace. The family gathered, not in a crowd of chatter, but in a quiet, united front of understanding.

Sumitra - Her hand flew to her heart, tears of pure happiness welling in her eyes as she looked upon her daughter and husband. She was unaware of the chaos of the night, only of the peaceful love she saw. "Isse zyada khushi ki baat aur kya ho sakti hai? Mera pati aur meri beti, kitne sukoon se hain." (What could be happier than this? My husband and my daughter, they are so peaceful.)

Tripti - A gentle, knowing smile touched her lips, but her expression was serious. "Aise hi pyaar bana rahe, bas." (May this love just last.)

Padmini ji- She wiped a silent tear from her cheek. "Bhagwan ne sab theek kar diya." (God has made everything okay.)

Rajendra - He watched his son and granddaughter with a steady, peaceful gaze. "Aaj ki subah, sabse behtareen." (Today's morning, the most wonderful.)

Siddhant - His shoulders, which had been tense with anger and worry, finally relaxed. "Aaj ki subah se behtar kuch nahi ho sakta." (Nothing could be better than this morning.)

Abinash- He stood firm, his gaze unwavering, and spoke softly, mainly to his brothers. "Yeh ek photo bohot kuch keh rahi hai." (This one photo says a lot.)

Vihaan - He lowered his phone, the photo now safely saved. "Iss pal ko koi nazar na lage. Yeh humare liye bohot keemti hai." (May no evil eye be cast on this moment. It is very precious for us.)

Vinay - He nodded, his voice soft but resolute, explaining the scene to his mother with a simple truth. "Hum sab bas Aditi aur Papa ko saath dekhna chahte the." (We all just wanted to see Papa and Aditi together.)

Avinash - As the eldest, he spoke with the quiet authority of a leader, his words a final, firm vow. "Ab se Aditi ki har takleef hamari hai. Aur hum use akela nahi chhodenge." (From now on, Aditi's every pain is ours. And we won't leave her alone.)

Geeta - "Kitna sukoon milta hai inhe dekhkar." (What peace I get from seeing them.)

Sanjay - "Sahi mein. Aise hi khushiyan aati rahein." (Truly. May happiness keep coming like this.)

Vijay - "Yeh subah sabse khubsurat hai." (This morning is the most beautiful.)

The family stood in a silent, powerful tableau, their hearts united by a shared purpose. This quiet morning wasn't just a peaceful scene; it was a new beginning, marked by a solemn and unspoken vow to protect the one they had almost lost.

A slight shuffle and a soft groan escaped Rajnath as the morning light touched his face. Aditi stirred against him, her eyelids fluttering open slowly. She looked up and saw her father's familiar face, etched with a newfound peace. A soft smile touched her lips.

Aditi: "Good morning, Papa." (Good morning, Papa.)

Rajnath: "Good morning, beta." (Good morning, child.)

Aditi: "Aap yahaan...?" (You here...?)

Rajnath: "Haan, main yahin hoon. Raat ko... tum so gayi thi." (Yes, I am right here. Last night... you fell asleep.)

A wave of warmth washed over Aditi as she remembered the events of the previous night. The raw emotions, her father's comforting embrace, and finally, the deep, dreamless sleep.

Aditi: "Thank you, Papa." (Thank you, Papa.)

Rajnath: "Kis liye, beta?" (For what, child?)

Aditi: "For everything. For understanding, for not blaming me... for just being you." (For everything. For understanding, for not blaming me... for just being you.)

Rajnath: "Tum meri beti ho, Aditi. Hamesha rahogi." (You are my daughter, Aditi. You will always be.)

Just then, a loud yawn echoed from the doorway. Anshika and Khushi stumbled into the hall, their clothes rumpled, hair tousled, and eyes barely open.

Vihaan: "Arre wah! Yeh toh naye fashion trend lag rahe hain!" (Wow! These look like new fashion trends!)

Siddhant: "Lagta hai raat bhar sapnon ki duniya mein fashion show chal raha tha." (Looks like a fashion show was going on in the dream world all night.)

Even the usually composed Tripti couldn't help but giggle. "Tum dono... kya haal bana rakha hai!" (You both... what have you done to yourselves!)

Anshika and Khushi blinked sleepily, completely unaware of the amused audience.

Khushi: "Kya hua?" (What happened?)

Aditi, feeling a blush creep up her cheeks, gently detached herself from her father. "Tum dono fresh ho jao," (You both go and freshen up,) she said, trying to suppress a smile.

The girls finally seemed to register the presence of everyone and their laughter. Anshika's eyes widened.

Anshika: "Oh my god! Hum toh bhool hi gaye ki hum kahan hain!" (Oh my god! We completely forgot where we are!)

Khushi: "Sorry, aunty ji, uncle ji." (Sorry, aunty ji, uncle ji.)

Sumitra: "Yeh kya ho raha hai? Yeh bachche aise kyon hain?" (What is happening? Why are these kids like this?)

Vinay quickly intervened, trying to steer the conversation away from the previous night's events. "Woh, Maa, yeh log raat bhar jaag rahe the, toh abhi neend mein hain." (Actually, Mom, they were awake all night, so they are still sleepy.)

Aditi stood up. "Haan, Maa. Hum log abhi fresh ho kar aate hain." (Yes, Mom. We will freshen up and come back now.) She took Anshika and Khushi's arms and gently steered them towards the stairs.

As she walked past her father, he gave her a reassuring nod and a warm smile.

Upstairs in her room,

Anshika and Khushi finally woke up completely. "Kya hua tha neeche?" (What happened downstairs?) Anshika asked, still a bit groggy.

Aditi: "Kuch nahi. Bas tum dono ki sleepy entry dekh kar sab hans rahe the." (Nothing much. Everyone was just laughing seeing your sleepy entry.)

Khushi: "Oh god, hum kitne bure lag rahe honge!" (Oh god, we must have looked so bad!)

Aditi: "Tum dono hamesha cute lagte ho." (You both always look cute.) She hugged them both. As they changed and freshened up, Aditi knew that things were slowly starting to heal.

After freshening up, they wore a clean ironed school uniform Aditi, Anshika, and Khushi headed to the dining table. Breakfast was always a lively affair in the Chaudhary household, a time for the family to gather and share their day. The brothers, still amused by the morning's events, wasted no time teasing Anshika and Khushi.

"Anshika, Khushi," Vinay started with a mischievous grin, "What kind of fashion statement was that this morning? It looked like you wrestled with a tornado."

Anshika's cheeks flushed. "Oh, aap!" (Oh, you!) she whined, a playful anger in her voice. "It was not a fashion statement; we were sleeping!"

Siddhant chuckled. "Sleeping beauty and sleeping... well, sleeping Khushi. You both looked like you were auditioning for a comedy show."

Khushi pouted. "Aap log humein hamesha chidate rehte ho!" (You people always keep teasing us!)

The teasing continued, with everyone sharing a laugh. Amidst the cheerful chaos, Aditi's mind was elsewhere. A thought, a craving, had been nagging at her all day. She decided to seize the moment.

"Maa," Aditi began, her voice a little timid. "Can I have a Kinder Joy? Just one?"

The table fell silent. Sumitra looked at her daughter, her expression firm. "Aditi, you know I don't approve of these things. No."

Aditi's face fell. The disappointment was palpable. She tried again. "Please, Maa, I've been wanting it all day."

"Aditi, ek baar mana kar diya toh mana kar diya." (Aditi, if I have refused once, I have refused.) Sumitra's tone left no room for argument.

A heavy silence descended upon the table. Aditi quietly finished her breakfast.
