Chapter 27 - chapter-25

Vasundhara ma'am -"aao beta batati hun"(come on children I'll tell you)

"Aa jao, sab ke sab! Bahut shanti se PT khel rahe the na?" (Come on, all of you! You were playing PT so peacefully, right?) Vasundhara ma'am's voice was sharp, cutting through the silence of the classroom.

She stood with her hands on her hips, her eyes scanning each student with a look that promised trouble.

"Maine bola tha na, first period mein aake apni-apni holiday homework file submit kar dena. Kisne ki hai?" (I told you all to submit your holiday homework files in the first period. Who has?)

The class went completely silent. No one moved, no one raised their hand. Ma'am's glare intensified, and she picked up a register from her desk

"Ek-ek ka naam leke poochhungi ab. Aarambh, kahan hai tumhari file?" (I'll call out each name and ask now. Aarambh, where is your file?)

Aarambh proudly said , his eyes directly looking straight into her. "Ma'am, woh... I forgot it at home."

"Forgot?" Ma'am's voice rose. "Waah, kitne responsible ho. Ayush, tumhara?" (Wow, how responsible. Ayush, what about yours?)

Ayush, usually calm, looked flustered. "Ma'am, woh... I was completing it till last night, so I didn't get time to bind it properly.

Khushi and Anshika, sitting together, whispered to each other. "Bhai, humari toh complete hi nahi hai." (Bro, ours isn't even complete.)

"Shh! Chup kar," (Quiet!) Aditi hissed back, her heart pounding. She had her file, but it was nowhere near perfect.

Vasundhara ma'am continued her interrogation, each name bringing a different excuse. "Khushi, Anshika, Manogya... No one has it? Bahut badhiya! ," (Very good)

she said, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, "if I don't see all the completed files on my table tomorrow, you'll be spending your entire PT period with me, every single day."

But that wasn't it the class in the sink started singing "soooooooorrrrrrrryy yyyymaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmm"

Vasundhara ma'am - "aree aree beta sorry kyon bol rahe ho tumhari thodi galti galti To Meri Hai Maine holiday homework Diya" (oh oh children where are you sorry that's my mistake I gave you holiday homework)

The whole was class Silent and everyone made innocent faces

Vasundhra ma'am- "itne bhule nahin Hai Tum shakle banane ki jarurat nahin Hai"(don't need to try tolook innocent don't you dare to make faces)

Everyone nodded

Vasundhara ma'am-"chalo FIR start karte Hain"(okay now we should start)

And the class started but that wasn't enough now the whole group was setting like this and at the last bench the girlypop group was eating kinderjoy.

Vasundhara ma'am kon kon kha rha chup chap khade hojao jise pahle mujhe khud check karna pade (who else was eating with you quietly stand up or else I start checking by myself)

The girlypop stands up

Vasundhara ma'am- "chalo aditi batao promotion Kya hota Hai"(okay Aditi tell me what is promotion)

Aditi-"huh mai ??"(Me?)

Vasundhra ma'am-"beta chinta karne ki jarurat nahi h sirf tumhara hi naam aditi hai theek hai sirf tumhara hi naam aditi hai idhr batao promotion Kya hota Hai" (beta don't need to worry in this class only your name is Aditi ok now tell me what is promotion)

Aditi-"promotion means promote karna"

Vasundhara ma'am-"vah beta vah kya definition dii kahan thi tum ab Tak clap for her"(wow beta where were you what the definition you gave me)

The whole class clapped where Khushi and Anshika were jumping while clapping

Vasundhra ma'am- "beta aise To laughing means laugh karna eating matlab eat karna yahi likh kar aana pure number milenge tumhen" (beta that means laughing means to laugh eating means to eat)

Everyone burst in laughter

Vasundhara ma'am- "beta jyada Khush hone ki jarurat nahin Hai Baki tum bhi teer nahin maar rahe"(beta don't need to be happy you all are not shooting any arrow)

Later the school goes on and now it was dispersal Aditi was with her friends she didn't expect someone to come and pick her from the school but suddenly Avinash came he didn't said anything but something twisted

Khushi and Aditi were standing with two boys which were none other than negi manogya as aditi saw him she ran towards the car but there conversation was audible they were talking about practice of athletics and Khushi was asking her to join the club but she refused by saying "khushi you na I don't want to make my mom trouble she use to keep thinking about me he is doing enough for me also I want to come but I can't"

But Khushi still insisted her "bhai yaar ajana ab To tujhe Tera driver bhi Lene a sakta hai aur agar tujhe driver ke sath nahin aana To mere Papa mujhe Lene aaenge To Ham donon Sath mein chalenge Ghar" (bro please come now your driver can pick you and if he didn't my father will pick me and you and we will go together to home)

Aditi-"you know na I can't use them"

Khushi- "what about using aditii you are just asking your family to get permission for academy"

Before she could complete Abinash came in between "it's her choice and she don't need permission"

Aditi heard familiar noise and moved her head towards the voice she stood stunned and then said nervously "oh you came to pick me let's go home"

Abinash- "we are not going anywhere first let's come inside" Avinash pointed towards the school

Aditi- "huh w-why?"

Abinash turned his head towards khushi "which academy you were talking about?"

Khushi- "athletics"

Both moved inside Aditi tried to

insist but he was not in a mood to listen

He directly went to the principal's office the principal saw him and the principal bowed his head

Principal-"Do you need anything sir what would you like to have?"

Abinash-"I just want to meet athletics coach"

Principal- "he might be busy with training students let me call him"

Abinash-"no need just inform him that aditi is coming to his academy from tomorrow"

Principal-"okay sure sir have seat "

Abinash-"no need"

By saying this he firmly held Aditi's wrist and most outside of the school

In the car

Abinash's eyes were locked on the road when Aditi silence "there was no need I don't want to go"

Abinash didn't glance at her for once but his jaw tightened and his grip tightened on the steering wheel "it was needed and I will come to pick you everyday after your academy and if you need anything say it freely"

The silence went longer throughout the ride

When they finally arrived back at the grand haveli, the warm evening light filled the expansive courtyard. Abinash, now carrying all the shopping bags, looked visibly exhausted but offered a small, tired smile.

Inside, the haveli was a haven of peace. Aditi, eager to talk, found her grandfather Rajendra sitting on his favorite armchair, with her father Rajnath and brother Siddhant nearby, patiently waiting for her return.

She settled down on the floor beside her grandfather's chair, resting her head on his lap. "Dada ji, aapko pata hai aaj kya hua?" (Grandpa, do you know what happened today?) she began, her voice a mix of frustration and amusement. Rajendra gently patted her head, signaling her to continue.

The Story of a Very Bad BST Period

"So, today was our BST class, and the teacher, Vasundhara Ma'am, was late," Aditi started, her eyes twinkling as she recounted the tale. "The whole class got bored, so we decided to go play PT. We all marched to the ground and got merged with the 10th class. For exactly five minutes, we played so peacefully."

Siddhant chuckled, "Only five minutes?"

"Yes! Just five minutes!" Aditi exclaimed. "Then the PT teacher came, with the stick in his hand, and everyone ran back to the classroom as fast as we could."

"And guess who was standing there like a hungry wolf? Vasundhara Ma'am!"

Rajnath smiled, shaking his head. "And what did she say?"

"She was so angry! She said, 'Aao beta batati hun,' (Come on children I'll tell you). Then she said, 'Aa jao, sab ke sab! Bahut shanti se PT khel rahe the na?' (Come on, all of you! You were playing PT so peacefully, right?)

Her voice was so sharp, cutting through the silence. She stood with her hands on her hips, and then she said, 'Maine bola tha na, first period mein aake apni-apni holiday homework file submit kar dena. Kisne ki hai?' (I told you all to submit your holiday homework files in the first period. Who has?) The whole class went silent, of course. No one raised a hand."

Aditi mimicked her teacher's stern voice. "Ek-ek ka naam leke poochhungi ab. Aarambh, kahan hai tumhari file?' (I'll call out each name and ask now. Aarambh, where is your file?) And Aarambh, so proudly, said, 'Ma'am, woh... I forgot it at home.'"

Rajendra laughed softly, "He forgot it at home?"

"Yes! And Ma'am got so angry. She said, 'Forgot? Waah, kitne responsible ho. Ayush, tumhara?' (Wow, how responsible. Ayush, what about yours?) And Ayush, who is usually so calm, said, 'Ma'am, I was completing it till last night, so I didn't get time to bind it properly.'"

Aditi leaned in closer to her family, lowering her voice conspiratorially. "Khushi and Anshika, sitting next to me, were whispering, 'Bhai, humari toh complete hi nahi hai.' (Bro, ours isn't even complete.) I had to hiss at them to be quiet."

She continued to narrate the chaos, describing how the entire class was interrogated. "She then looked at us and said, 'Khushi, Anshika, Manogya... No one has it? Bahut badhiya!' (Very good!) and then dropped her voice to a dangerous whisper, threatening to make us spend every PT period with her.

But you know us, the class started singing, 'soooooooorrrrrrrryy yyyymaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmm'!"

"Aree aree beta, sorry kyon bol rahe ho, tumhari thodi galti. Galti to meri hai maine holiday homework diya," (Oh oh children, why are you sorry? It's not your mistake. It's my mistake for giving you holiday homework), she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

"The whole class got silent and made innocent faces. She looked at us and said, 'Itne bhule nahin ho, shakle banane ki jarurat nahin hai.' (You're not that innocent, no need to make faces.) And then she just started teaching."

"But that wasn't the end," Aditi giggled. "The girls at the back were eating kinderjoy, and Ma'am caught Aashna chewing. She asked her, 'What are you eating?' and Aashna got so nervous. Ma'am then shouted, 'Kon kon kha raha hai, chup chap khade hojao, varna mujhe khud check karna padega' (Who else was eating with you, quietly stand up or else I start checking by myself)."

Aditi paused dramatically. "And then Ma'am looked at me and asked, 'Aditi, batao promotion kya hota hai?' (Aditi, tell me what is promotion). I was so nervous! I said, 'Huh, mai?' (Me?) And she said, 'Beta, chinta mat karo, theek hai. Batao promotion kya hota hai?' (Child, don't worry, okay? Tell me what is promotion?). So I said, 'Promotion means promote karna.'

The whole class burst out laughing, and Khushi and Anshika were jumping while clapping! Ma'am then said, 'Beta, aise to laughing means laugh karna, eating matlab eat karna... yahi likh kar aana, poore number milenge tumhen.' (Child, in that case, laughing means to laugh, eating means to eat... write this down and you'll get full marks). Everyone laughed more, and she had to quiet us all down."
