After exiting the chat channel, Isaac LeClerc didn't leave the Marvel Ranking List—the announcement for first place was imminent.
He had often wondered: Which organization could possibly claim the top spot?
Would it be the Time Variance Authority (TVA)? Or perhaps the legendary Celestials?
Since no members of the TVA had appeared in the chat, he guessed the Celestials were the most likely contenders.
[Notification from Marvel's Ranking List: The #1 organization will be announced shortly!]
[Rank 1 – The Celestials!]
Organization Overview:
The Celestials are a colossal organization spanning the multiverse, with a presence in most Marvel worlds. These entities are responsible for cosmic regulation and maintaining universal balance. When they decide that a race or planet is unworthy of survival, they dispatch agents to annihilate it—without mercy.
Footage of these gigantic beings began playing. Each one stood around 600 meters tall, and every appearance signaled the extinction of a species—or even an entire planet.
Emotionless and unrelenting, they function like an automated system for executing cosmic orders.
Their existence resembles a machine—one that preserves the delicate balance of the multiverse.
[Human Torch: 600 meters tall? Even Ultraman isn't that big, right?]
[Iron Man: Is this organization real? Maybe that's the real god? @Thor?]
[Thor: Tony Stark, have you lost your mind? Didn't you learn from last time?]
[Human Torch: Chill, Uncle Stark. You and Thor are from the same universe—you'll be fine.]
[Captain Marvel: Focus, people. This is about the Celestials, not Stark vs. Thor.]
[Ayesha: No need to argue. These gods are invincible. Just watch and stay out of the way.]
[Isaac LeClerc: I must admit... the Celestials are hopelessly overwhelming—for you guys.]
In truth, Isaac didn't fear them. To him, they were nothing more than... tools.
More importantly, the movie versions weren't all that impressive—their corpses even showed up in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
As long as they can be killed, there's no reason to fear them.
Seeing Isaac's bold reply, Pierce sneered in disdain:
[Pierce: So arrogant... Life as a global fugitive must be tough, huh?]
Isaac didn't get angry. He replied coolly, with a hint of sarcasm:
[Isaac LeClerc: You'll soon find out I'm not just short-tempered... I've got a big appetite too.]
He could already imagine Pierce's expression when he learned that Sokovia had fallen the next day.
Sokovia, the stronghold of Baron Stratt, accounted for half of HYDRA's global power.
Its fall would deal a devastating blow to HYDRA—enough to keep Pierce furious for weeks.
[Pierce: All you know is sneaking around and hiding.]
[Isaac LeClerc: I hope you can keep that tone tomorrow.]
Nick Fury, who had been quietly observing, noticed something suspicious:
[Nick Fury: Are you planning something?]
[Isaac LeClerc: You'll find out soon enough.]
After sending the message, Isaac shifted his focus away from the chat channel—toward the reward for first place.
[Notification from Marvel's Ranking List: No active members from this universe were found within the #1 organization. It is assumed the organization has forfeited the reward. Reward canceled.]
Isaac: ???
Magneto: ???
Venom: ???
Obama: ???
Question marks flooded the Marvel chatroom.
[Whitehall: What kind of nonsense is this? Rewards can be canceled? Are there really no Celestials in this universe?]
[Baron Stratt: If that's true, then... wiping out an entire organization means it can't receive any rewards?]
[Isaac LeClerc: Classic HYDRA thinking—always twisting things.]
[Nick Fury: I don't care about the rewards. What does concern me... is the Celestials returning. What if they come back to this universe?]
[Ayesha: And what's that got to do with you? You're just a regular human.]
[Isaac LeClerc: +1]
[Thanos: +1]
[Human Torch: +1]
Laughter erupted in the channel.
The idea of Nick Fury, a mere mortal, worrying about beings of such magnitude was downright comical.
[Isaac LeClerc: Baldy... here's some fatherly advice: Some things are bigger than you. Let the grown-ups handle it.]
[Nick Fury: Get lost!]
