The outstanding performance of the various world leaders was enough to make everyone present understand the true meaning of politics.
[Human Torch]: As expected! No one reaches the presidency without being bold to the extreme.
Magneto: Charles, did you see that? This is the only way mutants can have a future. It would be wonderful if that man were a mutant.
Professor X: War only brings suffering, Erik. You, of all people, should know this better than I do.
[Isaac Leclerc]: I don't know if war brings suffering, but those mutants lying on lab tables are the ones truly suffering!
Isaac didn't like Professor X's philosophy. A fanatical woman could destroy an entire civilization—or revive an entire bloodline.
Peace can only be preserved if we fight for it—but it is killed when we seek it through compromise.
If Professor X had read more than just the books of that "great man," mutants wouldn't be in such misery.
"What should we do? Who would've thought they were such cowards?"
Pierce paced back and forth in the room, his anxiety rising.
He had just contacted Hydra's European branches, but all the snake heads had refused his request for help.
It was clearly unwise for Hydra to expose itself for the sake of Sokovia—especially against an invincible enemy.
After failing to secure support, Pierce called Baron Strucker again, his face dark with worry.
Pierce said seriously: "Those damn bastards refused to help. They said Sokovia wasn't worth the trouble."
"What do you mean by that?!"
Baron Strucker's face twisted with rage.
After a moment of silence, Pierce advised, "Initiate a withdrawal immediately! This is not the time to provoke the Heavenly Dome."
"Hmph! Do you know how much I've invested in running Sokovia? Am I supposed to let all my efforts go to waste because of that Heavenly Dome? Pierce, have you lost your mind?!" Strucker shouted angrily.
But Pierce ignored the emotional tone and firmly insisted:
"Withdraw immediately—don't hesitate! We know nothing about the Dome, and if they intend to target Hydra, you won't escape."
Meanwhile, Isaac Leclerc was soaring through the skies above Sokovia alongside Faora. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and smiled wickedly.
He had found the ancient castle… the Hydra base!
If Isaac could watch the whole world, how could Sokovia escape his sight?
"Faora, keep a close eye on long-range attacks. I have something I need to do alone."
As soon as he finished speaking, Isaac shot off toward the castle.
"If I heard correctly, it should be in this direction."
Within less than two minutes, he was standing before an old fortress.
But before he could say a word, Hydra guards attacked without hesitation!
"Intruder! We're under attack!"
An alarm blared, and a Hydra soldier opened fire without hesitation the moment he saw Isaac flying.
Bullets turned into a storm of steel, tearing through the air. But Isaac—whose body had survived a nuclear bomb—ignored them completely.
As he glared at the "ants" who dared point their weapons at him, red laser beams shot from his eyes, and screams and wails echoed across the battlefield.
In that moment, Isaac resembled Homelander far more than Superman.
He stood in the sky like a god, raining down judgment on those below him without mercy.
Within minutes, Hydra's defenses crumbled.
"The devil! He's the devil!"
"That man… he can't be killed! How?!"
"Even rocket launchers are useless! I just want to go home! I don't want to be a terrorist anymore!"
Isaac listened to their pitiful cries as he chased them down without a hint of concern.
His red beams carved through the battlefield, leaving deep trenches wherever they passed.
In a short time, all Hydra soldiers in the castle's vicinity were annihilated.
Some didn't die—but were left crippled and deformed, silently suffering.
Inside the castle window, Baron Strucker ground his teeth in fury as he watched Isaac unleash destruction.
"Marvel List! I want to start a live broadcast!"
Strucker clenched his teeth as he declared,
"He knows he won't survive, so he wants to take someone down with him!"
Alert on the Marvel List:
Baron Strucker of Hydra has started a planetary live broadcast. Interested parties may join and watch!
As soon as the message appeared, a flood of people joined the broadcast room.
Among them… Nick Fury, who had been closely monitoring the Marvel List.
Baron Strucker let out a mad laugh, then cried out in despair:
"People of Earth! Let me show you the true devil! Even if I die today, I'll reveal to you this embodiment of evil! Hail Hydra!"
In that moment, Strucker didn't look like a villain from a shadowy organization—but rather a hero, preparing to sacrifice himself to expose a terrifying truth.
He finished his speech and pointed the camera toward the battlefield… where Isaac floated in the sky.
And the moment Nick Fury entered the stream, he saw a scene… he would never forget for the rest of his life.
