Chapter 53 - BUTZ: Chapter 53

Urahara Kisuke chuckled, explaining, "It's fixable, not a problem.

It'll just take some time."

Kyōraku Callum pointed to Dondochakka and Pesche. "What about these two? Don't restore their power, just change their forms. They're too ugly."

Dondochakka and Pesche looked at each other, then burst into tears. "Rejected for our looks again! Is it our fault we're ugly? This looks-obsessed world is hopeless for Hollows!"

"Bawabawa!" Dondochakka had released Bawabawa. The three Arrancar wailed together.

Kyōraku Callum shrugged, looking at Urahara Kisuke. "Mr. Urahara, you handle it. If you don't mind, they can stay as they are."

Urahara Kisuke raised his cane, pointing at the Arrancar.

"Bakudō #81: Dankū."

Spiritual pressure erupted, forming a transparent barrier around the three Hollows, silencing them instantly.

"No big deal. Restoring their appearances is a small task," Urahara Kisuke said, lowering his cane.

"Thank you, Mr. Urahara," Kyōraku Callum said.

But before he could finish, Urahara Kisuke raised his hand. "Hold on. No need for thanks.

We're friends; mutual help is only natural." He produced a small folding fan, fanning himself. "I have a small favor to ask. Just meeting someone." His smile was strange.

"What is it?" Kyōraku Callum asked curiously.

"A small matter, just meeting someone," Urahara Kisuke said, stepping aside.

Kyōraku Callum's eyes widened; a bad feeling washed over him. He instinctively tried to use Shunpo, but as he turned,

"Where do you think you're going?" a raspy voice said from a black cat. "Little Callum!!"

Ferocious fangs accompanied the black cat's call. The cat, tense, its pupils narrowed to pinpricks, stared intently at Kyōraku Callum, as if fearing he'd escape.

"Ms. Yoruichi, I think there's been a misunderstanding..." Kyōraku Callum's smile was strained; he shifted his feet, attempting to use Shunpo.

"Do you think you have any chance of using Shunpo in front of me?" The cat twisted, instantly blocking Kyōraku Callum's escape route. "Die, you wretched little Callum!"

A ferocious meow erupted. Kyōraku Callum's vision was blocked by the cat's paw.

Urahara Kisuke had already retreated, his folding fan concealing his amused smile. "Oh dear, Callum, I hope you survive this. I've fulfilled Ms. Yoruichi's request. Tessai, let's go upstairs. Let them have some private time."

Tessai Tsukabishi appeared behind Urahara Kisuke, carrying two Hollows—one large, one small. Bawabawa had been retracted by Dondochakka. Nelliel sat on Dondochakka's large face, curiously watching Kyōraku Callum's 'life-or-death struggle' with the black cat.

"Is Callum alright?"

Urahara Kisuke didn't turn. "It's fine. Callum and that black cat are 'old acquaintances.' It should be alright..." The last part was laced with uncertainty. Even Urahara Kisuke couldn't predict the outcome. Hopefully, nothing unexpected would happen!

Underground space. The black cat moved swiftly through the air, its sharp claws constantly aiming for Kyōraku Callum. Thanks to Kyōraku Callum's solid Shunpo skills, he avoided being hit.

Otherwise, his face would require significant time to heal. He even used time acceleration during his Shunpo, causing Yoruichi Shihōin to experience temporal distortions. Still, she persisted in her attempts to scratch his face.

"Little Callum, let me scratch you just once," the cat said from atop a large rock, its eyes urgent. "And I'll let you go!"

Kyōraku Callum firmly refused. "Impossible! Out of the question!"

Meow! The cat leaped from the rock, attacking Kyōraku Callum.

Kyōraku Callum swore it was a misunderstanding. Who knew the cat lounging in his house was Yoruichi Shihōin? A technical mishap had resulted in Kyōraku Callum burning the cat's tail.

Why the renowned Shunpo master, Captain of the Second Division, commander of the Stealth Force, and head of the First Division's execution squad, had her tail burned by a boy who couldn't even master Kidō, remained a mystery to Kyōraku Callum.

Perhaps it was his own clumsiness or carelessness. Regardless, a grudge had formed.

Yoruichi Shihōin sought revenge, but hadn't found the right opportunity. It wouldn't look good for the head of the Shihōin family to attack a boy.

Even after the misunderstanding was cleared up, Yoruichi Shihōin still harbored resentment. She repeatedly sought revenge, only to be outsmarted by Kyōraku Callum.
