Kyōraku Callum picked up his teacup, about to take a sip, when he remembered Urahara Kisuke's mischievous nature and quickly set it down.
"We haven't seen each other in years!"
Urahara Kisuke groaned. "Is that any way to treat an old friend? You bring three Arrancar to my shop! How am I supposed to run a business?"
Kyōraku Callum shrugged, gesturing towards the shop. "Isn't there an underground space? Besides, they can work part-time.
Those two are strong and capable."
Urahara Kisuke sighed. "Meeting you is the biggest mistake of my life. I have a feeling the real trouble is just beginning."
He clearly realized he couldn't refuse any longer.
"Alright, let's hear about these three Arrancar," Urahara Kisuke said, removing his fisherman's hat, a smile spreading across his face. "Judging by their residual spiritual pressure, they're not ordinary, are they?"
Kyōraku Callum didn't hide anything from Urahara Kisuke. Nelliel would likely be staying in the World of the Living for a long time. Even if he didn't tell him, Urahara Kisuke would find a way to get the information. You can doubt everything, but never Urahara Kisuke's intelligence.
Kyōraku Callum said gravely, "Former Espada Tres, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. The other two are her Fraccion.
As for why they're like this, let them tell you." He pushed Dondochakka and Pesche forward. Dondochakka's enormous head filled the table.
Urahara Kisuke chuckled helplessly. "Let's go downstairs. This space is too small."
Returning to the underground space, Kyōraku Callum noticed significant changes since his last visit.
"Don't be surprised.
Research and experiments often cause damage to the environment," Urahara Kisuke explained calmly.
Urahara Kisuke soon brought down a rug and a low table.
They sat on the rug, awaiting Dondochakka and Pesche's explanation.
With downcast expressions, they recounted the feud between Nnoitra and Nelliel.
"Finally, the fifth Espada, Nnoitra Gilga, was killed by Lieutenant Kyōraku," Dondochakka concluded.
Pesche quickly added, "With one strike! That one strike created a new canyon in the Great Forest of Menos, the legendary Death Forest!"
They then knelt, quietly staring at the floor.
Nelliel, still clueless, looked around, clearly unable to grasp the conversation's meaning without her memories.
Urahara Kisuke looked at Kyōraku Callum with a strange expression, his olive-green eyes scanning him.
"Before they spoke, I hadn't noticed.
But now I see... Callum, you've undergone a fundamental change since our last meeting."
Kyōraku Callum smiled, offering no response. He didn't reveal all his cards.
Besides, it was Urahara Kisuke, one of the five special war powers.
However, he was surprised by Urahara Kisuke's observation skills.
A simple sensing of spiritual pressure had revealed something amiss.
Indeed, Kyōraku Callum had changed.
It was related to the recent Soul Breakthrough reward from the Great Forest of Menos.
A Soul Breakthrough, as the name suggests, was a fundamental change in the soul's essence.
Shinigami's Hollowfication and Hollow's Arrancarification were essentially breakthroughs in the soul's limitations. However, this didn't mean a fundamental change in their being.
Hollowfied Shinigami and Arrancarized Hollows had greatly increased power, surpassing some captains.
But a Hollow remained a Hollow, a Shinigami a Shinigami.
Communication between their powers could cause changes, but further advancement required new power.
Kyōraku Callum's Soul Breakthrough was a change in his soul's essence, representing a breakthrough in potential and limits!
He now possessed beyond-limit potential.
Perhaps due to the recent breakthrough, his aura had changed, thus being noticed by Urahara Kisuke.
"Oh my, I understand," Urahara Kisuke chuckled, seeing Kyōraku Callum's unyielding smile. "I was too hasty.
Regardless, we are still friends." He was smart enough to drop the topic.
"Indeed, may our friendship last!" Kyōraku Callum nodded, smiling. "Since we're friends, I need another favor."
Urahara Kisuke's face fell; he wanted to slap himself. Why mention friendship? More free labor.
Kyōraku Callum picked up Nelliel, placing her on the rug, pointing to the cracks in her mask.
"Any way to fix this?"
Urahara Kisuke leaned closer, examining the cracked mask, frowning slightly.
"The leaking spiritual pressure prevents her from maintaining her body density. Shrinking her body is a form of self-preservation.
Unlike other Arrancar abilities, this isn't degeneration, but instinct."
He then launched into a flurry of technical jargon.
Kyōraku Callum, not a scientist, was utterly lost.
"Just give me a straight answer," Kyōraku Callum said, exasperated.
"That whole spiel was way over my head."
