CHAPTER FOUR:
(Written by Solomon Paul)
After Diane was separated from Elizabeth and Amon, she recalled the powerful magic Elizabeth had used. Determined to understand it better, she returned to the demon realm to investigate.
During her studies, she discovered that the magic Elizabeth had cast had the power to erase all existence in the universe. However, it came at a great cost-half the user's life.
Diane said to herself:
Diane:
"That nun... how could she use such dangerous magic without even considering the consequences? What if it had gone out of control? Everything in the universe would've been wiped out. Thank goodness she stopped-though the other monsters were resistant to it. But how could a monster be resistant to erasure magic but not a physical slash? Huh... who exactly is this nun?"
Curious and cautious, Diane decided to embark on a journey to learn more about Elizabeth.

Meanwhile, Amon continued his journey south. He stopped by a riverbank to drink and wash up-but was suddenly swallowed by a sea monster. Later that night, he was attacked by demon dogs. Each time he was devoured, his body regenerated from nothing. This gruesome cycle continued for weeks until Amon finally said:
Amon:
"I've had enough. You want to eat me? Come and try-but it won't be that easy."
He picked up a long stick, carved it into the shape of a spear, and kept moving forward. The next day, demon dogs attacked again. Though he was eaten, he regenerated and used the opportunity to stab and kill them one by one.
Amon:
"Looks like it's kill or be killed. Hahaha... unfortunately for you, I can't die!"
Amon began to enjoy battling monsters. With each fight, he gained more experience. One day, while sharpening his spear, he encountered a group of giant goblins.
Amon:
"What is this feeling...? These ones are far stronger than anything I've fought before. Even if I can't die, taking them on might be too dangerous. Better to run and avoid being noticed."
As he attempted to sneak away, one of the goblins sensed his presence and grabbed him by the leg, slamming him into trees. Despite dying from the impact, Amon revived again, only to face more beatings. Determined to escape the pain, he gripped his spear during one of the hits and thrust it into the goblin's eye. Then, he made a break for it.
But the goblins weren't done. They chased after him. While hiding, Amon remembered:
Amon:
"Wait... I dug a pit last night to store my things. If I can lure them in that direction..."
Before he could finish the thought, another goblin spotted him. Amon sprinted toward the pit as fast as he could. One by one, the goblins fell in. However, just as the last goblin was falling, it grabbed Amon's leg and began to drag him down too. Thinking fast, Amon reached for a nearby tree, held on tightly, and made a painful decision-he cut off his own leg, letting the goblin fall in with the rest.
Exhausted and hungry, Amon said:
Amon:
"All this fighting made me hungry. Guess I'll have to burn you guys for dinner."
He gathered dry sticks, threw them into the pit, and lit them using a matchbox he had filled with some spare sticks. That day, Amon had more than enough meat to eat. After regaining his strength, he finally reached the city.
