CHAPTER TEN
(Written by Solomon Paul)
Amon and the children burst through the head quarters gates, gasping and trembling. Without wasting a second, they ran into the main hall where Sasuke stood, surrounded by glowing monitors and guards.
Amon (panting):
"It's her…"
Sasuke (sharply):
"Who? What's going on? Where's your instructor?!"
Amon:
"He's fighting the girl… the one who killed Elizabeth. He's going to die if we don't help!"
Sasuke's fists clenched. A storm swirled in his eyes—the name Elizabeth was enough to stir buried fury. His energy spiked, shaking the room.
Sasuke:
"Stay with the kids. I'll handle this."
Amon (stepping forward):
"What?! I'm coming with you!"
Sasuke (coldly):
"No. You can't."
Amon:
"Why not?!"
Sasuke (turning slowly):
"Because you're weak."
Amon flinched.
Sasuke (firm):
"If you want to fight monsters like her, you need strength. Real strength. Right now, you'll only slow me down."
Amon (angrily):
"But I can't die!"
Without warning, Sasuke punched Amon, grabbing him by the shirt and lifting him slightly off the ground.
Sasuke (growling):
"Get that nonsense out of your head! Just because you can't die doesn't mean you're invincible! There are powers out there that laugh at immortality!"
Amon was silent. His clenched fists trembled.
Sasuke (softening):
"I know how it feels… wanting revenge. But there's a time for everything. Right now, what you need isn't revenge. It's growth."
Amon:
"To grow stronger…"
Sasuke:
"Yes. And grow with your friends—protect each other. They're your strength now."
Amon gave a slow nod.
Amon:
"Hm."
Sasuke (heading toward the exit):
"I'll be back. Don't go anywhere."
Amon (gritting his teeth):
"You better not lose to her."
Sasuke smirked and vanished in a blur of speed.
---
Elaine & Sophie (whispering):
"Hope they come back safely…"
Elioth:
"Yeah…"
Amon (quietly):
"Let's go inside… They'll be back. I know they will."

Meanwhile…
In the sky far beyond the city, Silver struggled to keep the rift between realities from tearing wider.
Silver (gasping):
"Each time I dodge that sword… it opens another rift. Chaos is leaking in. If only—if only I could cut her connection to it…"
He raised both hands and formed a massive glowing cube. As Diane charged forward, he trapped her inside it.
In the next second, the cube was flooded with blinding white flames—the Flames of Heaven—capable of turning planets to ash.
But then—BOOM!
Berserker pulsed, its red crystal glowing furiously as it transformed into a demonic armor, wrapping itself around Diane and shielding her from the inferno.
Silver (shocked):
"It… it can transform?!"
Diane (laughing inside the flames):
"Do you really think this little magic trick can stop Berserker?! This sword was once wielded by the First Demon Lord—the very one who defeated the God of War! I haven't even used ten percent of its power. Trying is useless!"
With a scream, she shattered the cube. The flames collapsed, falling toward the earth—but before they could touch ground, Silver used the last of his strength to teleport the flames to another reality.
That moment of effort left him open.
In a flash, Diane was in front of him—her sword severing his arm cleanly. From the stump, black vines and beasts grew—infected by the sword's curse. Silver screamed and immediately sliced off more of his own arm to stop the spread.
---
At the city's edge, Sasuke arrived—only to find beings from other dimensions creeping through cracks in reality. Some attacked civilians; others slipped into the shadows.
Sasuke (furious):
"What happened here…? I hope Silver is still alive."
He called for backup, then blasted through the sky toward the battlefield.
---
By the time he arrived, he found Silver on his knees—one arm gone, blood running from his eye socket, as Diane prepared to rip out the other.
Just as she reached forward, a glowing staff spun through the air—slicing off Diane's hand in a burst of light. In a blink, Sasuke appeared, catching Silver and pulling him away.
Silver (groaning):
"Sasuke… You're here… Be careful. That sword… it's bad news…"
Sasuke:
"Yeah… Sorry I'm late, bro. You've done more than enough. Let me take it from here."
With a flick of his wrist, Sasuke created a spatial rift, teleporting Silver to headquarters for emergency healing.
He then turned to Diane, eyes burning with cold fury.
Sasuke:
"You must be the girl Amon said killed Elizabeth."
Diane smirked as her hand regenerated in a puff of smoke.
Diane:
"That little dummy who drained her life with that stupid magic? I didn't kill her—just played with her. But if she's dead, I'd be happy to send you to join her."
Sasuke (stepping forward):
"You're going to regret everything you've done."
He raised a hand to the sky.
Sasuke:
"Come forth… Escalibar."
Suddenly, the clouds split open with a thunderous roar, and from the heavens descended a majestic blade glowing with holy light.
Diane (eyes wide):
"Escalibar?!"
