Old Leon was coincidentally working on a project which could manipulate the body's antibodies to fight better against the virus. But the problem he didn't quite understand was that the virus was actually the corruption which happened to a person's whole being.
And that included one's soul. That was the reason he was failing to get any major results. But it did give him enough insights to make a potion which boosted one's immunity slightly.
That potion became the reason he was able to commit suicide properly rather than turning into an Abyssal Creature.
Leon just used everything that Old Leon had discovered and combined it with his own understanding of the game, and he made this presentation.
It took a lot of his brain cells back then when he wrote it and also made the potion.
"It's my years of work, you know. Of course, it'll be that detailed," Leon said as a matter of fact.
