"Have a seat," Venor spoke, settling before the messager could, and shifted the weight of his left leg onto his right.
The messager glanced at the black leather couch and lifted the hem of her travelling gown before settling herself comfortably into the space.
She took a letter from her pocket and handed it to Venor.
Without batting an eye at the white piece of paper, Venor kept it on the table beside him and asked cautiously, "Why is it you who is delivering messages? I don't have time to spare. Get to the point and go away."
"Nothing, I just missed my cousin brother, who is too busy planning on becoming an outlaw in the realm." The messenger replied to Venor and gave him an innocent look with her eyes, chronically, same as his. Crimson.
Only the kin of ruler family of Demon Realm had crimson eyes, and unlike Mortal Realm, there was only one king, rulling over the entire realm, The Devil.
Being partially immortal and powerful than anyone alive, his arrogance rested at the peak of his gold crown.
But unlike him, his 78th daughter was different. She was kind, compassionate, and deeply loved her siblings and cousins. Especially Venor, because of his uncaring nature.
She followed him as her mentor, and now it was time to pay back for his teachings.
"Alright, Father is planning to imprison you for eternity. The letter states that you are to visit the capital and attend the parliament meeting with your wedded to be, with an invitation slip alongside."
"And?" Venor asked nonchalantly.
"He is planning to kill your wife, so I came to warn you. Run away from this realm and live your happy life with the love of your life."
Venor tilted his head, supported by his hand in the pretext of thinking. But not to her surprise, he ignored her completely and ordered the servant to bring snacks.
"Venor..."
"It's not that easy, Wysple. I am not safe despite hiding within whichever corner of any realm." Venor commented. "And your brother doesn't behold the name to back without fighting."
Wysple shook her head in defeat and left his mansion after snacking on her favourite dried chicken bone.
And right after she left, Venor took the letter between his hand hand and walked towards Zitara's chamber.
He slapped the letter on Zitara's working table and asked, "Can Jaquer be involved in battle now?"
"No," Zitara replied mindlessly, crushing herbs in the mortar and pestle.
"Can you make Jaquer gain his strength by tonight?"
"No,"
"Oh, sure, then I am taking you to the parliament instead of him."
Zitara clicked his tongue in frustration before condemning, "If you want to heal him quicker, I will need Wide Eye Flower and Moon Beam Petals."
"Where can I find them?"
"Behind Devil's Palace," Zitara replied with a smile and resumed crushing his herbs.
Venor couldn't help but end up yanking Zitara by his collar in continuous motion and begged, "I am not joking, why won't you help me!"
"Because it's impossible to heal a human within a night. He is not us Venor. Remember my words. I am not an expert with human anatomy, you should better ask his friends."

"Kill yourself, he would be energised enough with the happiness of you being gone." That's what Alys replied with his unfiltered mouth.
"Jaquer is quite stubborn. If he wants to remain sick, he may remain sick, and if he decides otherwise, he can be better in a day. I am counting on you to lift his mood. Fighting!" Eres, being the kind species, replied and went away.
Only Hader gave him the answer he wanted: "We can analyse together if you want an answer."
She spread a white sheet of paper, dipped the glass pen into the inkpot, and drew diagrams while sitting straight and eyes focused on the page beneath her hand.
Jaquer was a demon hunter.
Hader drew a circle representing Jaquer. Beside him were drawn the things that powered him against his battle with demons.
A holy demon-hunting sword, Miracle Eye, and the collection of demons' blood.
Hader's eyes brightened immediately after the realisation, and she turned towards Venor.
Regardless of the expression in her eyes, her lips remained in a thin line and she stated, "My observation is also based on assumption, so there's an equal chance that it maybe a failure or pass."
"Get straight to the point,"
"It's your blood that can heal him faster. After slaying a demon, hunters collect the blood of the very demon they killed. It helps them to increase their mobility, that is, their heart's mana. But I am unaware of what they do with it."
Venor thanked Hader and strided his steps towards exit, but before he could step out of her quater, Hader asked, "Why do you want him to heal inhumanely? Is there any emergency?"
Demon's blood was naturally manipulative. Only the slave demons give their blood to the rightful masters. Hader knew it; therefore, she gave an inquisitive look at his back.
The blood binds a slavery contract and gives full control over the blood they own.
If Venor was willing to give his blood, it must be something urgent.
"The king has invited me and my wedded to be to attend a parliamentary meeting," Venor said with reasoning and went away without explanation.
Hader was a genius of her own accord; she didn't need explanation to every statement, her instinct were mostly correct.
Her brows furrowed with worry as she watched the retreating back of Venor with her chin
resting on her hand.
Parliament meeting? There were many reasons meetings were held, but commanders were not the members of parliament.
The only possible reason could be...

It was late at night by the time Venor finally had time to visit Jaquer.
"Turn around," He commanded with his compelling voice, having no time to argue with the hunter.
Under the influence of hypnosis, Jaquer immediately turned around without a ruckus.
Venor, unbothered by the fact, slipped a gold necklace on Jaquer and tied the hook behind with a magical spell.
A red garnet glowed effortlessly between the golden incarnet chain, with thin bands dangling from the main structure.
Venor turned Jaquer's body and pursed his lips while adjusting the bands to lay them perfectly.
And the next second, he snapped his finger, stopping the effect of his spell.
Without giving a second break for Jaquer to process things going around, Venor leaned near his face and ask, "How are you feeling?"
"Shi-" Jaquer wanted to repeat the same answer he gave in the morning but his word stuck at his mouth when he realised the difference on his body. His touched his chest and the pain was gone.
His brows rose with confusion before he asked, "What have you done?"
Getting the answer Venor needed, he didn't bother to explain but instead stated, "By morning, we are leaving my estate and travelling towards the capital."
"And why?"
"To declare a war."
