Chapter 32 - 32. The Seizure of Nemesis and the Formation of a New Strategy

With the aid of Hwanung, the Allied Forces dealt a crushing blow to Nemesis's defenses and claimed a decisive victory. Etherion's troops, fractured by internal strife and disarray, failed to mount a coherent defense. In the end, Nemesis fell into the hands of the Alliance. Now, with their foothold secured, Kim Young-min and Merslin began formulating a new strategy, preparing for their final confrontation with Hyperion.

The last defensive lines of Nemesis were breached. Kim Young-min neutralized the shielding systems using Earth's advanced weaponry, while Elysium's magic propelled the offensive forward. The city of Nemesis now stood as the Alliance's new stronghold.

Kim Young-min:"Nemesis is ours. Etherion is no longer a match for us. They cannot stop what's coming. It's time to open a new era."

Earth Commander:"The last of Nemesis's defenses have collapsed! All key sectors secured!"

Elysium Mage:"We have triumphed. With this base, we can now prepare for the next phase."

The fall of Nemesis was more than just a military victory—it exposed Etherion's crumbling internal structure and fatal reliance on a divided leadership. The nation had lost its capacity to resist Hwanung and the Allied advance.

As Etherion faltered, a growing schism emerged. The elder council summoned an emergency session, furious at the younger faction's refusal to intervene. Yet the youth leadership remained fixated on their own external ambitions, dismissing Nemesis as irrelevant.

Elder Councilor:"They've abandoned us. We can't go on like this. If we don't resolve this division now, all of Etherion will fall."

Young Leader:"We walk our own path. Nemesis no longer concerns us. Our goal is to ascend to the throne of the Titans."

The younger leadership disregarded the elder council's authority, pursuing their independent objectives. Their apathy deepened Etherion's fracture, crippling any united response from the race as a whole.

Seizing the opportunity, Kim Young-min and Merslin turned Nemesis into the strategic core of their next campaign. With support from Earth and Elysium, they began preparing a preemptive strike against Hyperion.

Kim Young-min:"Hyperion will soon become aware of us. We must strike first. From Nemesis, we'll build a new front and take the initiative. If we catch him off-guard, the momentum will be ours."

Merslin:"We already hold the advantage. Hyperion is using Etherion's chaos to bolster himself. But if we strike now, we'll force him to kneel."

Kim had correctly deduced that Hyperion sought to exploit Etherion's instability to further his own ends. To preempt that, he began crafting an assault strategy centered around Nemesis.

Strengthening the Earth–Elysium alliance, Kim and Merslin monitored Hyperion's movements closely. They aimed to further incite Etherion's collapse and sow confusion that would leave their enemies vulnerable. The Alliance began preparing for the final war, assembling a force that combined magical prowess with scientific innovation.

Kim Young-min:"We must surpass both Hyperion and Etherion. They can no longer block our path. This war will be fought on our terms. We will no longer remain on the defensive."

Earth Scientist:"Our combined tech and Elysium's magic have unmatched potential. We're developing a new weapons system—one that even Hyperion can't withstand."

Merslin:"This alliance must be strengthened. Only by uniting our full strength can we truly overcome Hyperion."

By leveraging their respective strengths, the Allied Forces forged a coalition capable of countering Hyperion. Even in the face of overwhelming power, Kim felt certain—this war would be theirs to command.

From Nemesis, Kim and Merslin continued to stoke Etherion's internal division. The elder leadership weakened further under pressure from the youth faction, while Hyperion schemed to exploit the widening rift.

Upon learning that Hyperion was preparing for war, Kim devised a countermeasure—to strike first and nullify Hyperion's plan before it could unfold. With Nemesis as their launch point, the Alliance quietly readied a full-scale surprise assault.

Kim Young-min:"We will lead this war. Hyperion can no longer stand in our way. We'll unite every resource and bring him down. Nemesis was only the beginning."

With preparations complete, the Allied Forces stood poised to strike. Their decisive blow would be the spark that ignited the final confrontation. Kim Young-min and Merslin now held the reins of war, and from this storm, they would forge a new world.

Episode: The Battle in Hyperion's Third Space and Aria's Sacrifice

Following their victory in Nemesis, the Allied Forces entered Hyperion's Third Space—a dimension where Hyperion could fully unleash his powers. This battlefield, saturated with chaos and destruction, became a deadly stage as elite Ethelion soldiers overwhelmed the Allied troops. Hyperion led the assault with surgical precision.

Hyperion: "Your so-called victory in Nemesis means nothing here. In this realm, I am absolute. You will not escape."

Kim Young-min: "Hyperion is immensely powerful in this domain. We need to find his weakness. We can't give up!"

Merslin: "This is our only chance to bring him down. We fight to the end!"

Despite their determination, the Allied Forces struggled. Ethelion's elite warriors displayed overwhelming offense and defense, halting their advance.

Kailon's Assault: Kailon unleashed blue energy blades from his fingertips, tearing through the Allied shield formations. His swift movement and teleportation-like speed allowed him to strike from unexpected angles, leaving defenses in ruins.

Lisa's Stand: Lisa, wielding the power of the Titans, shielded her comrades from Kailon's onslaught. Despite taking a deep wound to her shoulder, she stood again and drove back the enemy with a burst of Titan energy.

Lisa: "The power of the Titans doesn't fall so easily. Stand with me! We can't stop here!"

Lisa unleashed a powerful shockwave, breaking Kailon's energy blades and staggering his defense.

Belos' Rampage: Flames erupted from Belos' palms, turning the battlefield into an inferno. His claws, deadly in close combat, tore through multiple Allied soldiers, breaking their formations.

Edward's Counter: Casting acceleration magic to boost his allies, Edward fought through searing burns caused by Belos' flames. Drawing strength from his enchanted sword, he struck back with a forceful blow that forced Belos to retreat.

Edward: "You think fire can stop me? I'll rise stronger from your flames!"

Inares' Barrage: Inares gathered energy into a massive explosion, shattering the Allied formation and sowing confusion. His overwhelming blast threw the defense into disarray.

Serena's Precision: Despite being caught in the blast, Serena recovered quickly. Using stealth and her bow, she targeted weak spots with surgical precision, landing a critical blow that shattered Inares' guard.

Serena: "Even without shadows to hide in, I'll still strike at the heart!"

Serena crept beneath Inares and landed a decisive shot that left him staggering.

Merslin's Gambit: Merslin tried to cast a wide-area spell to push back the enemy, but his magic reserves were nearly depleted. With his last breath of energy, he called upon the Void.

Merslin: "Darkness deeper than dark… I summon you, devourers of all light—Void, consume them!"

At his incantation's end, the battlefield fell silent. The Void responded from within, its dark essence spreading across the battlefield and devouring the energy of Ethelion's warriors.

Voice of the Void: "You call upon me, mortal… I answer."

Though it slowed the enemy's advance, Hyperion swiftly intervened, disrupting the Void's magic. Merslin collapsed from magical overload, but his act granted the Allies a brief moment of reprieve.

Hyperion: "The Void cannot stop me. You are still far from worthy."

As comrades fell, Aria faced a decision. She knew that to save them, she had to abandon her human form and return to her divine role as the avatar of the god of healing.

Closing her eyes, Aria recalled the joy, sorrow, love, and freedom she had experienced as a human. But to protect those dear to her, she had to relinquish it all.

Voice of the Divine: "Aria, the time has come. Will you remain human, or reclaim your divinity?"

Raising her hand toward the heavens, Aria made her choice.

Aria: "I chose humanity… but to protect them now, I must become a god once more."

A silver light bloomed from her fingertips, divine power enveloping her. It healed her comrades' wounds and reignited their morale.

Aria: "If this is to be my final sacrifice, then I accept it."

Her divine energy surged across the battlefield. Lisa pushed back the enemy with Titan strength, Edward cut down elite soldiers with his enhanced blade, Serena picked off targets with unseen strikes, and Merslin summoned remnants of the Void to suppress the enemy.

Sensing the shift, Hyperion faltered.

Hyperion: "The avatar of the healing god… reborn? This was not foreseen!"

Aria's sacrifice reversed the tide. The Allied Forces regained the upper hand, driving back Ethelion's elite.

At that moment, Prometheus, the united Titan, appeared and offered a new strategy.

Prometheus: "This is Hyperion's realm. We must lure him out. Follow me."

Feigning retreat, the Allied Forces drew Hyperion into a new dimension—one more favorable to them. Believing in his impending victory, Hyperion pursued them, only to be drawn into their trap.

Prometheus: "We've drawn him out. Here, the terrain favors us."

With Hyperion now out of his domain, the Allied Forces prepared for the final showdown.

Kim Young-min: "Aria saved us! Now's the time—push them back!"

Merslin: "Let's end this. Together, we'll bring Hyperion down!"

Aria, having fulfilled her divine duty, knew that her sacrifice had bought her allies a fighting chance. Now, with renewed strength, the Allied Forces marched toward the last battle—determined to defeat Hyperion and usher in a new era.
