Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Fire in the Jakarta Night Sky.

The CEO's office at XQO Holdings still glowed late into the night.

The view of glittering Jakarta lay below, but the atmosphere in the room was tense, illuminated only by the desk lamp.

The CEO signed a legal document designating his adoptive daughter, Lyna Taksaka, as the sole heir to all his assets, including the majority shares in XQO Holdings.

"Mr. Nasution, how are you today?" he asked in a light tone.

Lieberth Nasution, a renowned lawyer from Sumatra, replied, "I'm well, Mr. Taksaka. And how about you?"

"I'm fine, as usual, Mr. Nasution," he answered half-jokingly. "What about the legal process you requested?"

Lieberth sighed. "Everything is under control, Mr. Taksaka. Once you sign, all your assets will be transferred to Miss Lyna Taksaka," he said calmly.

"Excellent. I'll send you the documents tomorrow morning, Mr. Nasution," said the CEO, who had just finished signing. "Good night, and sorry for disturbing your time."

Lieberth Nasution tapped his desk lightly. "Very well, Mr. Taksaka. Good night."

The call ended, and the CEO now pondered what the future held for his adoptive daughter.

He knew this would put Lyna in danger, especially with the intrigues of the "Nine Dragons."

The man still remembered the first time he met Lyna and her parents.

"Rey, Grace, forgive me," he said full of regret.

Meanwhile, in the corridor leading to Taksaka's office, the night grew later.

The office atmosphere had become quiet, with only the graceful footsteps of Tysa echoing.

She stepped into Taksaka's room with the latest report on Malaka, but her eyes caught the inheritance document on the desk.

"The report you requested, Mr. Director," Tysa said, but she couldn't tear her gaze from the document.

The CEO nodded in agreement. "Just leave it on the desk, Miss Tysa," he said in a different tone.

The woman then placed the report on the table.

The man then asked his secretary, "Miss Tysa, investigate the information leak reported by Raka."

"Very well, Mr. Director," she replied firmly, but Tysa appeared uneasy, as if hiding something.

The man suspected Tysa after seeing her reaction to the recent order, but he didn't confront her directly.

"Is there any other information about that broker, Miss Tysa?" the man asked, setting aside his suspicions for the moment.

Tysa mentioned, "There are rumors that Malaka is working for another dragon, Mr. Director. But it's just unverified rumors."

Tysa's statement made the CEO even more vigilant. Was the rumor true? Or just idle gossip?

At the same time, in an abandoned building on the outskirts of Jakarta, illuminated by dim lights.

The sound of a motorcycle engine rumbled in the distance.

Malaka was currently meeting with his henchman, Immanuel, and a mysterious man in a rumpled black jacket.

They were discussing plans to "stop" XQO Holdings before the Anihc acquisition was complete.

"Boss, what are we doing this time?" Immanuel asked his boss, Malaka.

Malaka said, "We'll do what we always do, son," he replied steadily.

He also revealed a major secret: that Anihc held hidden technology that could restore the power of the Nine Dragons.

"Is that true, Boss?" Immanuel asked Malaka again.

Malaka nodded lightly. "I have proof for everything I've said, son," he said with a neat smile, as if orchestrating a grand event.

"Isn't this risky, Malaka?" The mysterious man warned Malaka that his plan was dangerous.

"Just relax; we can make everything look clean, and no evidence will trace back to us," but Malaka insisted that it would be seen as an "accident" and would divert everyone's attention from the acquisition.

"Very well, I'll go along with your plan, Malaka," said the man in the rumpled black jacket.

Meanwhile, Immanuel nodded in agreement with his boss's plan.

At the same time as Malaka's plan began, a Type 96 aircraft was seen preparing to take off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

On the top floor of the XQO Holdings building, in the silent midnight, only one person remained.

The Jakarta sky was suddenly illuminated by a strange flash.

The CEO of XQO Holdings was on the phone with Raka, the Head of Information at XQO Holdings. "What's the strategy to take down Malaka, Mr. Raka?" He was discussing strategies against Malaka.

"Like this, Mr. Director. What if we..." Raka's words, full of plans, were suddenly cut off by a rumbling sound approaching from all directions.

The building's glass windows shook violently. The first loud explosion rocked the structure as a Type 96 aircraft crashed into the lower floors of the XQO Holdings building.

Fire and smoke began to spread rapidly, creating resounding chaos.

The man tried to run toward the elevator. In his now-unsettled mind, he hoped for a miracle, but a second explosion trapped him.

In the chaos, with fire beginning to devour his surroundings and smoke obscuring his vision, the CEO of XQO Holdings still managed to think of his adoptive daughter, Lyna Taksaka.

"You'll be alone after I'm gone, my princess, Lyna."

He regretted that he couldn't protect his adoptive daughter for longer.

"Forgive me, Rey, Grace. I've ended up following you both, and failed to realize our shared dream."

Above him, a crack began to sound, and the building's collapse swallowed him without a single word, only the sound of destruction.

Outside the ruins of the XQO Holdings building, this midnight brought profound grief.

Ambulance and police sirens filled the air, flames illuminating the Jakarta city sky.

Tysa, who happened to be outside the building during the incident, stared at the debris with a mixed expression; she smiled slightly, as if satisfied with the misfortune that had just occurred.

Raka, who survived because he was on a lower floor and managed to escape before the first explosion, now tried to search for his director amid the rubble. But he only found a half-burned inheritance document and a book titled *The Judgment of Paris*.

He quickly secured both before anyone else could find and misuse them.

In the distance, Malaka watched from his car, a sly smile on his face. "Go to hell, CEO of XQO Holdings," he said, and finally burst into loud laughter.

News of the CEO's death spread through all social media, crowds, and even radio, causing XQO shares to plummet within minutes on the global market.

Lyna was at the apartment; she cried uncontrollably after hearing the news from her caregiver.

"Papa..." Lyna screamed with tears that wouldn't stop. "Why does something like this have to happen to you..."

The story closes with Secretary Tysa receiving a new message: The seventh dragon has won.

To be continued.
