The Justice Brigade was on patrol when they saw a black hole opening in the middle of town. Heatgirl asked, "What's that?" When the black hole vanished, a guy on a hoverboard flew into town and started to destroy it. The Justice Brigade saw what he was doing downtown and gave chase. Sungirl flew up in front of him, and he stopped. Sungirl remarked, "I don't know where you came from, but I know where you're going." Sungirl tried to blast the guy with her Sunray from one of her hands, but he flew upward, and she accidentally hit Iceboy instead. Since Iceboy was out, Sungirl, Heatgirl, and Aquaboy chased after the guy. Aquaboy turned his hands into tornadoes and tried to take the guy out, but the guy threw smoke bombs into his tornadoes and took him out. Then Heatgirl stomped on the ground with one foot, setting it on fire. The fire circled the guy, and Sungirl cast a shield over the top of Heatgirl's Ring of Fire so that the guy couldn't escape. Sungirl exclaimed, "Got you." Then the guy took a gun, blasted the ground with it, and made a black hole. Sungirl saw what the guy was doing and gathered her team. Sungirl replied, "I don't think so."
Sungirl and her team flew towards the guy, and Sungirl and Heatgirl deactivated their Ring of Fire and Sunshield. When the guy saw The Justice Brigade, he dived into the black hole, but so did The Justice Brigade. Then the black hole they had jumped into disappeared, and another black hole opened in the sky; all five fell out. The guy activated his surfboard and flew away, while the Justice Brigade landed on top of each other. Sungirl asked, "What happened? Where are we?" The Justice Brigade looked around and saw a bunch of flying cars, a bunch of robots doing work all over town, TV screens flying all around town, and people dressed in futuristic outfits. Iceboy remarked, "Hmm. I don't know if I know this part of the world." Aquaboy responded, "It must be some futuristic college. Let's get home."
Sungirl walked by a billboard, looked at it, and pointed. Sungirl remarked, "Guys, I don't think we're in Beverly Hills anymore." The Justice Brigade walked towards the billboard, looked at it, and was shocked to see it read "Techville 2050. Sungirl said, "The device that man used wasn't a weapon; it was a time machine."
Iceboy replied, "You mean we're ten years in the future."
Heatgirl corrected him, "Twenty."
Aquaboy interjected, "Does it really matter where we are? We need to catch that guy, get the device back, and head home."
The Justice Brigade walked around town and started hearing screaming from downtown. Then, the Justice Brigade flew downtown and saw someone running away from a robot trying to beat her with a baseball bat. Sungirl said, "robot on a rampage. Let's take him out." Sungirl blasted the robot away with her Sunray, and the attacked lady looked toward the source of the blast. When she did, she saw The Justice Brigade in their superhero uniforms and Sungirl's hand glowing yellow. Sungirl remarked, "Sticks were so last season; it's all about the Laser Beams now." The robot got up and blasted the Justice Brigade with its lasers. "See?" Sungirl added. Heatgirl replied, "Don't give the bad guy any ideas next time." The Justice Brigade flew towards the robot, and the robot saw them. Then Sungirl flew down and kicked the robot. The robot landed on its back, and Heatgirl blew it up with her Heat Ray. Heatgirl said, "robot destroyed. You're safe now, Miss."
After the Justice Brigade stopped the rampaging robot, they went to a store and bought some futuristic clothes to blend in. Daisy walked out and remarked, "This is a new fashion I could get used to." Hannah commented, "My clothes remind me of home." Jake and Frank walked out and saw the girls enjoying their clothes. Jake stated, "Honestly, I feel more like a hero in these clothes than my superhero outfit." Frank agreed, saying, "Feelings mutual." After they had changed, the Justice Brigade walked around town trying to find their villain. While they were looking, they heard someone screaming. The Justice Brigade turned around and saw a robot attacking a playground filled with children. Daisy shouted, "robot on a rampage. Let's go!" The Justice Brigade was about to fly there when four bikers rode yellow, red, white, and blue motorcycles right by them. The person on the yellow bike called out, "Stop."
All their motorcycles came to a stop, and they all took off their helmets. Once they did, the Justice Brigade got a clear view of their future selves. Sungirl remarked, "That's our future." Sun Woman flew to the children and saved them. Heat Woman spun around, made a flame tornado, and set the robot on fire. Freeze Man blew out the fire, turning the robot's head with strong gusts of wind. And Ice Man froze the robot, then kicked it, destroying it. Then all four slapped hands, because they had saved the day again, and returned to their motorcycles. Sun Woman called out, "Go." The motorcycles heard Sun Woman and drove off.
After saving the playground, the Future Justice Brigade flew home. Then the city got dark, and the Justice Brigade wondered what was happening. Then the villain they chased appeared on every screen in town, speaking to every citizen. The villain said, "People of Techville," he proclaimed, "I am Professor Program, and all your robots are now under my control. Now I rule Techville, and soon, I'll rule the world." Professor Program pushed a button on a remote, turning all the robots in town evil. Then he pressed another button on his remote, laughing evilly, and shut off all the screens he was on.
When the Justice Brigade saw the citizens in trouble, they donned their superhero uniforms, flew up to the robots, and began defeating them. Sungirl glided to one robot and flipped its switch from ON to OFF. Then Heatgirl pushed a button on the robot, removed its program disk, and shut it down. A robot came after Iceboy, but he pulled its plug and shut it down before it got him. Then Aquaboy removed the robot's batteries and shut it down. When Professor Program saw what was happening, he called in the robots that didn't have off switches. The Justice Brigade then saw the robots approaching. Sungirl rallied her teammates: "Come on, team. Let's put an end to this robot rumble."
One robot attacked Sungirl, but she destroyed it with her Laser Vision. Two more attacked Heatgirl, but she melted one with her lava and kicked the other up and away. When it landed, it blew up. Iceboy kept throwing ice at the robots, freezing them. Then Aquaboy flew back, slammed his hands together, and blew some of the robots away. Then, one of the robots extended its arm and wrapped it around Aquaboy. Sungirl called out, "Aquaboy!" Sungirl tried to save Aquaboy, but one of the robots turned its feet into skates, rode up to Sungirl, and punched her away. Heatgirl shouted, "Sungirl! Iceboy, I'll help Sungirl. You save Aquaboy."
Heatgirl ran up to Sungirl, but a robot flew up to her and grabbed her. Iceboy flew to Aquaboy, but a robot blasted him out of the sky with rockets. Then, the Future Justice Brigade went to save themselves. Sun Woman shot the robot holding Sungirl with her Laser Vision. Heat Woman flew up to the robot, holding Heatgirl, and flew off with her, blasting it with fire, and grabbed Heatgirl before the robot exploded. Ice Man flew up to Iceboy and saved him. Then he blew out his Ice Breath, freezing the robot into a solid block of ice. Freeze Man ran fast around in a circle and made a tornado. The tornado Freeze Man created took out the robot holding Aquaboy. Then he snapped his fingers, made the tornado vanish, and saved Aquaboy before he hit the ground.
After The Future Justice Brigade saved The Justice Brigade, a robot flew up in the air and grabbed all four members of The Future Justice Brigade. They all yelled for help, so the Justice Brigade flew after them. When they reached the robot holding them, it electrified them and put an invisible shield around itself. Then it flew away at superfast speed, leaving The Justice Brigade behind. Sungirl lamented, "Great, our future selves are gone, and it's all our fault." Heatgirl reassured her, "Don't worry, we'll find them. The robot probably took them back to Professor Program." Then the robot took the Future Justice Brigade to Professor Program's lair. Then, the robot threw them all behind glass cells behind the wall. Sun Woman tried to push the glass away and escape, but she got shocked and fell to the ground. The robot went to Professor Program and told him that he had captured the Justice Brigade. Professor Program declared, "Excellent, and with them out of the way, my plan will work."
Meanwhile, the Justice Brigade went over to their house and saw that it looked different from theirs. Sungirl pushed a wall button that lowered a city map. Then she typed in her name, pressed Enter, and located herself at The Robotics Tower in the middle of town. "That must be where they got taken," Heatgirl observed. Iceboy responded, "Then we must get over there and save them." Aquaboy cautioned, "How? The robot guards will catch us if we even step over there." "I think I know how we can get inside," Sungirl replied. When they got to The Robotics Tower, Sungirl saw that robots were guarding it. Sungirl walked behind the guards, waved her arm forward, and told her team to come. Then they all snuck inside the doors and took a look around.
Iceboy saw that the inside looked more high-tech than the outside. Iceboy noted, "The outside of the building looks completely ordinary." Aquaboy replied, "You're telling me; it's all sorts of high-tech in here." The Justice Brigade went to the top floor and saw a door with a computer on it. "That must be where Professor Program is," Sungirl guessed. Professor Program stated, "More music, and make it snappy." The Justice Brigade heard his voice behind the door, so they figured they were right. A radio robot entered Professor Program's room, and then the Justice Brigade ran past the door and looked for themselves in the other rooms.
The Justice Brigade walked into one room and saw that it was a TV Studio. "This must be where the professor broadcast his message to the entire city," Sungirl surmised. "How will we find ourselves in this giant tower?" Iceboy wondered. Heatgirl used her Heat Sensing Vision and saw four people behind the wall. Heatgirl said, "There's a room behind this wall." Heatgirl knocked on the wall, found a secret panel, and opened the side. Then they found the Future Justice Brigade in glass cells, and the Justice Brigade saw them.
Sun Woman remarked, "First robots, now younger clones."
Heat Woman: "Whoever made these surely didn't do a good job."
Sungirl exclaimed: "We're not clones; we're you."
Sun Woman replied: "That doesn't make any sense."
Iceboy responded: "We know, but we kind of got here by accident, and we came here to save you guys."
Ice Man said, "Wow, I can't believe we would travel through time to save ourselves."
Heatgirl replied, "Even though we're not supposed to be here, we'll get you out of this mess."
Heat Woman then tapped the glass, and static electricity appeared around the edges. Heatgirl cautioned, "Careful. These glass cells are electrified and deadly."
Professor Program walked into the room and saw The Justice Brigade. Professor Program said, "Well, well, well." The Justice Brigade quickly turned around when they heard Professor Program's voice and saw him. Professor Program added, "If it isn't more prisoners for me?" Sungirl replied, "Fat chance, we're here to stop your plans." Professor Program stated, "Unfortunately for you, there's no stopping me. Now that I rule Techville with my robot army, I'll take my robots global and rule the world. Get them." The robots came at the Justice Brigade, but Sungirl sliced some of them in half with her Laser Vision. Heatgirl tried to melt the glass behind the Future Justice Brigade with lava. Iceboy froze a few of the robots with his Ice Breath. Then Aquaboy blew a strong wind, knocking many of the robots out. Sun Woman then kicked Professor Program's hand, knocking his remote out of his grasp, and it slid across the floor. Heat Woman picked up the remote, and Professor Program saw that she had it. Then, all eight of them ran off, but Professor Program got on his hoverboard and flew off after them. Professor Program ordered, "Robots, get that remote."
One robot grabbed Heat Woman, so she threw the remote to Iceboy. Iceboy declared, "Got it." Professor Program ordered, "Give me that remote." Iceboy flew away, but a robot punched him away and took the remote from him. Then, Ice Man took the remote from the robot and kicked its head off. When both teams got together, they all slapped hands with their doubles and split up. The Justice Brigade flew in one direction, while the Future Justice Brigade flew in the opposite direction. Professor Program ordered, "After them. Half of you pursue the elders, and half pursue the younger doubles. I'm going to get that remote."
Professor Program flew by The Justice Brigade on his mechanical surfboard. Then, four robots grabbed all four of them, and Professor Program took the remote from Iceboy. Then, the Future Justice Brigade flew by the Justice Brigade, and so did the robots chasing them. The Future Justice Brigade all kicked their robots down and took out the robots holding The Justice Brigade, too. Sun Woman grabbed the robot from Professor Program, but Professor Program wouldn't let go. "Let go of my remote," Professor Program demanded. Sun Woman declared, "It was your remote. Now let go." Sun Woman and Professor Program flew around in circles while holding the remote, because neither would let go. Sun Woman kicked Professor Program's hoverboard, knocked him off it, and took the remote from him. Sun Woman said, "Now I have the remote."
Sun Woman turned the dial on the remote and shut down all robots in town. Then Professor Program kicked the remote out of her hands, jumped, and grabbed it. Professor Program declared, "Now I hold the remote. I win." Sun Woman looked at Sungirl, and they both nodded. Sungirl pointed one of her fingers down and blasted a Sunbeam out of it. Then it reflected off the glass floor, hit the remote out of Professor Program's hand, and into Sungirl's. Sungirl pushed a button on the remote, turning all the robots in town back on and resetting them to good condition. Then, the Future Justice Brigade grabbed Professor Program, and the Justice Brigade took one of his weapons from his belt. Sungirl set the dial for their own time, turned it on, and made a black hole. The Justice Brigade called out, "Goodbye." The Future Justice Brigade called out, "Goodbye." The Justice Brigade ran into the portal and returned to their century.

Then, they took off their Superhero uniforms and put on their everyday clothes. Sungirl exclaimed, "I'm so glad to be home." Heatgirl agreed, "Me too. I mean, what a crazy mission we just went on." Iceboy added, "At least we know we'll still be a team in the future." Aquaboy added, "And a more powerful one because we'll have new powers." Sungirl stated, "Well, I guess we'll see if that will happen again in twenty years." Iceboy exclaimed, "Yeah, maybe it will." Then, the Justice Brigade walked home and spent the rest of the day at their house.
