The Justice Brigade was at home when a distress call came in. Daisy traced it to Tokyo, and the team flew to Japan to investigate. When they reached the location of the distress signal, they found only an empty alley with no one in sight. "That's strange," Sungirl said. "The signal came from right here." "Then where's the person who sent it?" Iceboy asked. At that moment, a girl named Madalyn appeared. "Right here," she said. "You sent the signal? But you're not in danger," Sungirl replied. "No," Madalyn said. "But you are." She pulled out a gun and fired at the Justice Brigade. In an instant, Sungirl became a teenager, Heatgirl became an eight-year-old, Iceboy became an older man, and Aquaboy became a baby. With that, Madalyn flew off, laughing evilly.
The Justice Brigade stared at their reflections in a glass building and saw what Madalyn had done. "We're younger," Heatgirl said. "Speak for yourself," Ice Man replied, since Iceboy had been turned older. Sungirl said, "We have to get that ray and restore our real ages. Ice Man, keep an eye on Heatgirl and make sure she stays out of trouble. I'll watch Baby Aquaboy and keep him calm." Ice Man grabbed Heatgirl's arm. "Fine," he said. Sungirl picked up Baby Aquaboy, but he immediately started crying. As the team tried to figure out how to manage the kids and stop Madalyn, Madalyn flew to the prison. She broke in, and three villains inside looked up at her shadow. "Mind if I cut in?" she asked. Then she freed Insect Princess, the Speedster, and Techno, and the three joined her.
After Madalyn freed the villains from jail, Sungirl carried Baby Aquaboy to the prison while Heatgirl carried Ice Man. "Are you sure we should be following you?" Heatgirl asked. "I'm the leader. I know what I'm doing," Sungirl said. "And if you don't listen, you're grounded." When they landed, they saw the villains escaping. "You really think you can stop us, Gramps?" the Speedster taunted. "And what about you, little missy?" Techno added. Sungirl handed Aquaboy to Ice Man. "Keep an eye on him," she said.
Sungirl stepped in front of the villains. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way," she said. Insect Princess fired a volley of stingers, and one ripped through Sungirl's costume before stinging her. "Hard way it is," Sungirl said. Insect Princess swooped at her, but Sungirl raised her Sun Shield and knocked her back. Then the Speedster dashed around Sungirl and punched her, making Heatgirl angry. "Don't be mean," Heatgirl shouted, blasting him with her heat beams and sending him crashing into a building. "I may be old, but you're never too old to fight for justice," Ice Man said. With a snap of his fingers, he froze the ground under Techno, sending him sprawling. Madalyn flew out of the jail and glared at her team. "Don't tell me you're losing to them," she said. "And you're next," Sungirl replied. Madalyn lifted several cars and hurled them at the Justice Brigade. Sungirl grabbed Heatgirl's wrist and pulled her clear just in time. Baby Aquaboy, frightened by the attack, began to cry. Sungirl scooped him up and tried to soothe him. "It's okay, baby. It's okay." As he cried, a nearby fire hydrant burst, and the spray knocked Madalyn out of the sky.
Baby Aquaboy laughed at the burst hydrant and began to fly, but Sungirl quickly caught him before he could drift away. She sang him a lullaby until he fell asleep. When she looked up, she realized the song had also put both teams to sleep. She tapped Heatgirl awake and whispered, "Grab the baby. I'll get Ice Man." Sungirl lifted the sleeping Ice Man and flew off, while Heatgirl carried Baby Aquaboy. Moments later, the police arrived and arrested the sleeping villains. But when Madalyn woke inside the police van, she saw her team still asleep and used her powers to lift the van, tip it over, and dump everyone out, including the driver. Once the villains woke up, they destroyed the van and left the driver behind. Techno then used a laser to cut through all their handcuffs and free them. Madalyn then grabbed the Speedster and flew off. Insect Princess followed, and Techno launched his hang glider into the air.
Meanwhile, Sungirl flew over Tokyo carrying Ice Man while Heatgirl carried Baby Aquaboy as they searched for the weapon Madalyn had used, hoping it could restore their real ages. Suddenly, Sungirl and Heatgirl were blasted out of the sky and dropped Ice Man and Baby Aquaboy, but they dove down and caught them just in time. "That was fun. What else can we play?" Heatgirl asked. "Okay, who's the wise guy?" Sungirl said. "You mean wise guys," Madalyn replied. "Madalyn?" Sungirl said. Heatgirl pointed behind her. "Ooh, she brought her friends to play." Insect Princess, the Speedster, and Techno appeared. Madalyn then tore a lamppost loose and knocked Heatgirl aside with it. Sungirl took Baby Aquaboy from Heatgirl and gave him to Ice Man. "Don't let him out of your sight," she said.
Sungirl flew up to Madalyn and tried to kick her, but using her powers, Madalyn ripped up a chunk of sidewalk and hurled it at Sungirl. The blow knocked Sungirl out of the sky, and she fell to the ground. Techno then lobbed a bomb at her, but Heatgirl destroyed it with her heat vision. Sungirl turned toward the blast and saw Heatgirl standing behind her. "I know it's wrong to hurt people, but being a kid, it can be fun," Heatgirl said. She snapped her fingers and set Techno's gear on fire. "Stop! You wrecked all my stuff," Techno shouted. "It's also polite to help others," Heatgirl replied. "So here." She snapped again, putting out the flames—only for Techno's gear to explode anyway. Then she punched him away. Insect Princess swooped down, grabbed Heatgirl, and carried her high into the air. Ice Man had an idea.
Lifting Baby Aquaboy, he said, "Looks like we'll never see our young friend again." Baby Aquaboy burst into tears, sending out a gust of wind that blasted Insect Princess from the sky. Ice Man then froze the ground beneath her, and she slipped, dropping Heatgirl. While the others dealt with the Speedster, Sungirl went after Madalyn again. The Speedster dashed past the Justice Brigade, but Ice Man froze the ground in his path. He hit the ice, slipped, and crashed into Techno and Insect Princess, leaving the three villains tangled together. Madalyn watched Sungirl approach and waited for her to strike.
"Go ahead," Madalyn said. "Attack me. I'll block it or send it right back your way." "Is that a fact?" Sungirl asked. "Try me," Madalyn replied. "As you wish." Sungirl fired a sunbeam at Madalyn, but it passed behind her. "Ha! I told you that you couldn't hurt me," Madalyn said. "Couldn't I?" Sungirl replied. Madalyn turned and saw the beam reflect off a glass building and race back toward her. It struck her, knocked her out of the sky, and she landed at Sungirl's feet. "All right, Madalyn," Sungirl said. "Hand over the device you used on us." Madalyn pulled out the age ray and handed it over. Sungirl set it to their correct ages and used it to restore her teammates, then used it on herself. After everyone was back to normal, she smashed the ray to the ground, destroying it. Once the Justice Brigade defeated Madalyn and her crew, the police arrived, arrested them, and took them to jail. Then the team flew home to wait for their next mission.
