Eutostea, the third princess of Thebes, is visited by the mysterious guest calling himself the God Apollo in bed. In pitch-black darkness, only an outline of him said, “I have come to share a one-night love with you. Once the night passes, you will not remember me, nor shall we meet ever again.” Soon, the three princesses band together to reveal his face while he is sleeping. But the candlewax melts off the tip of the candle in Eutostea’s hand and falls on the god’s shoulder. Apollo wakes, grabs the second princess, declaring, “Princess of Thebes, admire to your heart’s content. ‘Tis the face of the mere shell you sought so dearly.”

Ares had such a good eye that he had tried almost all drinkables comparable to nectar. But his taste in liquor was that with high alcohol content, which caused blackouts. A clear and pure-looking, but eye-popping wine strong enough to burn down the throat. That strong alcoholic drink suited his taste.


Dionysus was the best when it came to the most famous drinker and wine lover, but Ares just snickered when tasting Dionysus’ all-time favorite wine. Unlike Dionysus, Ares would be satisfied with drinking an unknown wine, which seemed to be dripping from a straw connected to a distiller pot with a bucket full of unhealthy ingredients inside. Nevertheless, he wouldn’t get drunk at all due to his great body inherited from Zeus and Hera.
